Definitions
- the invention relates to a cleaning roller for a floor cleaning machine, with a cylindrical roller body, which is rotatable about an axis of rotation on the Floor cleaning machine is storable, and with a the roller body jacket-like surrounding cleaning element.
- Such cleaning rollers come in particular for scrubbing, scouring and Polishing machines are used to clean a floor surface and are known for example from DE 196 35 146 C1. It suggests the roller body and the cleaning element in one piece from a dimensionally stabilized Form a tangle of fibers on a bearing shaft of the floor cleaning machine can be put on and preferably from a variety is constructed from disc-shaped individual elements. The individual elements can are placed on each other in the axial direction, and for axial fixing of the individual elements, snap rings can be used. Such one The design of the cleaning roller enables good cleaning results in many cases. The exchange of the individual elements in the event of contamination or wear of the tangle of fibers is not, however, by inexperienced people in all cases can be easily accomplished.
- Floor cleaning machines are also known in which the cleaning of the Floor surface is done with the help of a rotating disc, the cleaning element held on a drive plate of the disc by means of a Velcro fastener is.
- floor cleaning devices do not allow in optimal floor cleaning in all cases.
- the object of the present invention is a cleaning roller of the beginning mentioned type in such a way that they have an improved cleaning result enables, the cleaning element exchanged in a simple manner can be.
- Such a configuration of the cleaning roller enables optimal Cleaning of floor surfaces with the help of the textile material on the roller body is held.
- the textile material is in the form of a tube and can therefore be easily replaced.
- the textile material in the axial direction on the roller body wind up or subtract from this.
- different textile materials can be used are each designed for optimal cleaning of the respective floor area are.
- the textile material itself when soiled can be easily cleaned by removing it from the roller body and, for example is washed in a washing machine.
- the textile material at least at one end region has a fastener for axially fixing the textile material on the roller body.
- the fastening means can be designed, for example, in the form of a drawstring be with which the textile material is contracted at the ends can.
- the drawstring is rubber-elastic.
- the fastening means is preferably in an axial direction in the roller body Arranged in the direction of the end region of the textile material.
- the tubular textile material is at least at one end over the roller body so that the roller body face is at least partially covered by the textile material.
- the Fastener cooperates with a fastener that one end region of the roller body is arranged adjacent. So can for example, be provided that the fastener and the fastener designed as interacting hooks and eyes are.
- the fastener can be, for example Form the hook, which is inserted into an eyelet riveted into the textile material can be.
- the Textile material is made using a microfiber material.
- a microfiber material is particularly suitable for cleaning a wide variety of items Hard surfaces, especially for cleaning tiles, especially of Stoneware tiles.
- the textile material comprises a plush fabric.
- the web-like Design of the textile material gives it a high stability, whereby it is practically inextensible in the radial direction, so that the one Centrifugal forces occurring rotation of the cleaning roller does not affect the textile material deform noticeably.
- the roller body for tensioning the textile material is expandable in the radial direction.
- the diameter of the roller body can be changed. During the floor cleaning can Tensioning the textile material a relatively large diameter is used come while replacing the textile material of the roller body may have a smaller diameter, so that the tubular Textile material in a simple manner in the axial direction on the roller body wind up and pull off from this.
- the Roller body by applying a torque in the radial direction is expandable.
- a torque can be achieved in a simple manner generated that one of a rotary drive of the floor cleaning machine rotating cleaning roller on the to be cleaned The floor area touches down, because it is between the cleaning roller and the Bottom surface frictional forces on the outside, which on the roller body exert a torque.
- the application of this torque has an expansion of the roller body in this preferred embodiment result, so that the tubular textile material is stretched and thereby being connected to the roller body in a rotationally fixed manner.
- the roller body preferably has a roller core which is connected to a drive shaft the floor cleaning machine is releasably connectable, as well as several rotatable relative to the roll core about the axis of rotation of the roll body, can be pressed apart by the rotary movement relative to the roller core Clamping elements.
- a positive guidance is preferably provided here with a relative movement between the roller core and clamping elements Clamping elements leads radially outwards, so that the diameter of the Rolled body enlarged and consequently the tubular textile material stretched becomes.
- the tensioning elements counteract the effect of an elastic one Restoring force can be pressed apart.
- This can be constructive simple way to ensure that the clamping elements are in their original, take an approximate position as soon as the external exposure of the roller body with a torque is eliminated.
- the clamping elements of a ring or tubular elastic return element for example from a Rubber hose, are surrounded.
- each clamping element on the outside first form-locking element for example, has a longitudinal groove with a second positive locking element arranged on the inside of the restoring element, for example, a holding rib interacts.
- the clamping elements can thus be separated from one another in a structurally simple manner be pressed so that they slide on a guide surface which is not round in cross section of the roller core. Is the roll core by means of Rotary drive of the floor cleaning machine set in rotation, one leads Relative movement of the clamping elements based on the roller core to that the clamping elements due to the non-circular guide surface of the roll core in radial direction apart.
- At least two, preferably in the form of a circular arc, preferably come Clamping elements are used that extend the roller body in the circumferential direction surrounded, where they preferably fit positively on the roller body, when they take their approximate position.
- the roller body can be designed, for example, in the form of a profile rod.
- the roll core is square in cross section is with rounded corner areas and if each has a Lateral surface of the roller body extends a clamping element, the clamping elements by turning through 45 ° in relation to the roller body in a radial direction Direction between an inner, approximated position and a outer, spaced apart position can be moved back and forth.
- the diameter of the roller body by pushing apart the clamping elements by at least about 5 mm, preferably about 8 mm can be enlarged.
- the clamping elements facing side edges have at least one aligned obliquely to the axis of rotation of the roller body Include edge section.
- each side edge is aligned with one another in a V-shape Has edge sections.
- tensioning elements are in each other approximate position, i.e. in the relaxed state of the restoring element, spread in pairs.
- the mechanical stability of the cleaning roller can thereby be increased.
- the clamping elements have a guide element on the end face, which with a cooperates non-rotatably connected to the roller core guide part.
- the guide element is arranged on the clamping element Guide pin and the guide part is designed as a guide receptacle, in that the guide pin dips into.
- the contour of the guide holder can correspond to the contour of the guide surface of the roller core, so that the Clamping element when exposed to a torque unhindered relative can be rotated to the roll core, a movement of the clamping element without applying torque, however, is reliably prevented.
- the roller core has an end cap on the face that is connected to the roller core so that it cannot rotate and the guide part, preferably the guide receptacle.
- FIGS. 1 to 6 show a reference number 10 as a whole shown first embodiment of a cleaning roller according to the invention, which in the usual way on a drive shaft, not shown in the drawing a mobile floor cleaning machine can be stored and around an axis of rotation 12 is rotatable.
- the rotary drive of the cleaning roller 10 takes place in the usual way by means of a known drive element of the floor cleaning machine, for example by means of an electric motor.
- the rotating one Cleaning roller 10 can be moved along a floor surface to be cleaned become.
- the cleaning roller 10 a cleaning element in the form of a tubular textile material 14, the surrounds a cylindrical roller body 16 in the form of a jacket.
- the textile material 14 is made of a microfiber material in the form of a plush fabric and sewn from a piece goods into an endless tube, which then was cut to length in accordance with the length of the roller body 16.
- the Textile material 14 overlaps the end of the roller body 16, this is to achieve a better overview not shown in the drawing.
- the textile material is designed as eyelets Fastening means (not shown) on the front hook 18 of the Cleaning roller 10 cooperate so that the tubular textile material 14 by means of the hook 18 and the eyelets in a structurally simple manner can be set.
- the roller body 16 comprises a central roller core 20 in the form of a Extruded profile, which has a central through opening 22 with hexagonal Cross-section, so that the roller body 16 on a corresponding, also hexagonal drive shaft of the floor cleaning machine can be put on. From Figures 4, 5 and 6 it is clear that the roller core 20 has a substantially square Has cross section, the corners are each rounded.
- the roll core 20 is surrounded by four clamping elements 24, 25, 26 and 27, which are relative are rotatable about the axis of rotation 12 to the roller core 20.
- the Outside 29 of the roller core 20 has a guide surface on which the clamping elements 24 to 27 with a corresponding, arch-shaped Sliding surface 30 in the relaxed state of the roller body 16 in a form-fitting manner issue.
- the roller body 16 also includes a rubber tube 32 which the Clamping elements 24 to 27 surrounds in the circumferential direction and these are resilient with a radially inward restoring force.
- the outside 33 of the rubber hose 32 serves as a non-slip contact surface for the tubular textile material 14.
- the end of the roller core 20 is in each case by an end cap 35 or 36 overlapped, which are connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the roller core 20 by means of fixing pins 38 are.
- the end caps 35 and 36 each have an end face Roller core 20 abutting cover 40, on the one in the axial direction Connects sleeve 41, which has an end face region of the roller core 20 in Surrounds circumferential direction.
- a guide receptacle 43 is formed, into which a face on each clamping element 24 to 27 arranged guide pin 44 dips.
- the contour of the Guide receptacle 43 corresponds to the outer contour of the roll core 20.
- the frictional force acts in the circumferential direction of the cleaning roller 10, so that the roller body 16 with respect to the axis of rotation 12 with a torque is applied. Because of this torque, the clamping elements 24 to 27 rotated relative to the roller core 20 and here radially apart pressed against the elastic exerted by the rubber hose 33 Restoring force.
- the rotating cleaning roller 12 is done after If floor cleaning is lifted off the floor surface to be cleaned, this is not necessary Applying a torque to the roller body 16. this in turn has the consequence that the clamping elements 24 to 27 due to the rubber hose 32 restoring force exerted their original relaxed Take position in which the diameter of the roller body 16 by approx. Is 8 mm less than in the tensioned state with maximum expansion of the Tensioning elements 24 to 27.
- the textile material 14 can be in the relaxed state subtracted in a simple manner from the roller body 16 in the axial direction and then be washed.
- the textile material 14 is fastened by means of the Hooks 18. These are essentially L-shaped and stand outside of the lid 40 of the end caps 35 and 36, so that they in the the drawing not shown eyelets can be inserted in the End regions of the textile material 14 riveted over the roller body 16 are.
- the textile material can thus be fixed in the axial direction by means of the hooks and eyes in a structurally simple manner, and by rotating the clamping elements 24 to 27 relative to the roller core 20 stretch the textile material 14 in the radial direction.
- FIGS. 7 and 8 there is a reference number 50 which is assigned in total shown second embodiment of a cleaning roller according to the invention, which is constructed similarly to that above with reference to FIG Figures 1 to 6 explained cleaning roller 10.
- a reference number 50 which is assigned in total shown second embodiment of a cleaning roller according to the invention, which is constructed similarly to that above with reference to FIG Figures 1 to 6 explained cleaning roller 10.
- FIGS. 7 and 8 the same reference numerals are used as in FIG Figures 1 to 6 and to avoid repetition is in this regard full reference to the above explanations.
- the cleaning roller 50 arrives Roll body 16 for use, one in cross section in the form of a five-pointed Star-oriented roller core 52 and is surrounded by five clamping elements 54 to 58, which are relative to the roller core 52 about the axis of rotation 12 are rotatable.
- the outside of the roller core 52 forms a guide surface 60 on which the clamping elements 54 to 58 with a corresponding, arcuate sliding surface 62 in the relaxed state of the Roller body 16 of the cleaning roller 50 rest in a form-fitting manner. This will be out Figure 8 clearly.
- the clamping elements 54 to 58 face each other side edges 64 on with two V-shaped mutually aligned edge sections 65 and 66, which are each aligned obliquely to the longitudinal axis 12. This will make a particularly uniform concentricity of the cleaning roller 50 is reached when this contacted a floor surface to be cleaned, because of the oblique to the axis of rotation 12 aligned edge portions 65 and 66 ensures that too at no time a side edge 64 of the clamping elements 54 to 58 over the entire length of the cleaning roller 50 on the floor surface to be cleaned rests.
- the clamping elements 54 to 58 overlap in pairs in the region of their V-shaped edge sections 65 and 66. This improves the mechanical strength of the cleaning roller 50.
- the tensioning elements 54 to 58 are surrounded by a rubber hose 68, that of the above explained with reference to Figures 1 to 6
- Rubber hose 32 differs in that it is on the inside evenly distributed in the circumferential direction five radially inward guide ribs 70, each in a corresponding longitudinal groove 71 immerse, which are molded on the outside in each clamping element 54 to 58.
- By means of the guide ribs 70 and the longitudinal grooves 71 is a positive Connection between the rubber hose 68 and the tensioning elements 54 to 58 made so that the rubber hose 68 relative to the clamping elements 54 to 58 cannot slip.
- the cleaning roller 50 can also by a rotational movement of the clamping elements 54 to 58 based on the Roller core 52 can be ensured that the roller body 16 to Tensioning the textile material 14 expands in the radial direction.
- the relative movement between the tensioning elements 54 and 58 and the roller core 52 is caused as soon as the cleaning roller rotating about the axis of rotation 12 50 is placed on the floor surface to be cleaned, so that then Roller body 16 automatically assumes its expanded position.
