  • a further embodiment involves a light beam that is interrupted as a customer enters the queue and another light beam interrupted as the customer exits the queue.

  • the display is adapted to show a person the expected wait time for service.
  • the information will be updated at regular intervals on an ongoing basis so that customers will always have an accurate projection of the wait time.
  • a processor is provided and adapted to acquire information from the sensor and provide information to the display.
  • the processor determines the number of customers in the queue by obtaining information from the customer sensor. By knowing the rate of customers leaving the queue and the number of customers in the queue, the approximate wait time can be determined for prospective customers.

Claims (14)

  1. Dispositif distributeur de café comprenant :
    un brûloir (200), agencé pour torréfier une pluralité de grains de café non torréfiés ;
    un broyeur couplé audit brûloir (200) et agencé pour moudre ladite pluralité de grains de café après la torréfaction afin de produire du café moulu ;
    un dispositif d'infusion (400) couplé audit broyeur et agencé pour former une infusion de café à partir du café moulu ;
    un dispositif de transport (300) agencé pour se coupler audit brûloir (200) et audit broyeur pour transporter ladite pluralité de grains de café non torréfiés et torréfiés à l'aide d'un mécanisme de propulsion (350), le dispositif étant
    caractérisé en ce que :
    le broyeur et le dispositif d'infusion (400) sont munis de raccordements multiples qui les relient au dispositif de transport (300).
  2. Dispositif distributeur de café selon la revendication 1, comprenant une pluralité de broyeurs.
  3. Dispositif distributeur de café selon la revendication 2, comprenant un dispositif d'infusion attaché à chaque broyeur.
  4. Dispositif distributeur de café selon la revendication 3, chaque broyeur et dispositif d'infusion (400) étant muni de raccordements multiples qui le relient au dispositif de transport (300).
  5. Dispositif distributeur de café selon la revendication 1, dans lequel le dispositif de transport (300) comprend des tubes ou conduites.
  6. Dispositif distributeur de café selon la revendication 5, dans lequel le mécanisme de propulsion (350) est agencé pour engendrer un flux d'air dans les tubes ou conduites du dispositif de transport (300).
  7. Dispositif distributeur de café selon la revendication 1, comprenant en outre un orifice de sortie couplé au dispositif de transport (300) et agencé pour collecter une pluralité de grains de café torréfiés.
  8. Dispositif distributeur de café selon la revendication 1, dans lequel le dispositif de propulsion (350) utilise une différence de pression pour transporter la pluralité de grains de café.
  9. Dispositif distributeur de café selon la revendication 8, dans lequel la différence de pression comprend une différence de pression positive et/ou une différence de pression négative.
  10. Dispositif distributeur de café selon la revendication 1, dans lequel ledit broyeur est disposé ensemble avec ledit dispositif d'infusion (400).
  11. Dispositif distributeur de café selon la revendication 10, comprenant en outre un panneau d'interface (700) disposé avec ledit broyeur et ledit dispositif d'infusion (400) et agencé pour permettre de sélectionner un type de café.
  12. Dispositif distributeur de café selon la revendication 1, comprenant en outre un panneau de commande (600) disposé espacé dudit brûloir (200) et agencé pour commander ledit dispositif de transport (300).
  13. Dispositif distributeur de café selon la revendication 1, dans lequel le dispositif de transport (300) comprend en outre une ou plusieurs vannes agencées pour diriger la pluralité de grains de café non torréfiés et les grains de café torréfiés vers différents endroits.
  14. Dispositif distributeur de café selon la revendication 1, et qui est agencé pour distribuer du café du type mélange de montagne, du café décaféiné, de l'expresso et du cappuccino.
