  • Each of the devices 50 comprises an assembly 51 to feed the paillettes 23 and an assembly 30 to advance and cut the paillettes 23.
  • the feed assembly 51 comprises a substantially vertical support 24 at the upper part of which an arm 25 is attached, bearing a transverse pin 26 on which a bobbin 27 rotates which feeds the strip 28 of the paillettes.
  • the assembly 30 to advance and cut the paillettes 23 is attached to the lower part of said vertical support 24, and consists of a vertical support plate 29 arranged substantially perpendicular to the needle-bearing bar 13a.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif (50) et un procédé d'application de paillettes (23), de strass ou d'un article analogue dans une machine à coudre (10) pouvant réaliser des coutures (19) sur un matériau textile (11) alimenté en continu. La machine à coudre (10) comprend des éléments supérieurs de couture (12) constitués d'une tige porteuse d'aiguille (13a), mobile selon un mouvement alternatif et pouvant supporter plusieurs aiguilles (14), et des éléments de couture inférieurs (15). Le procédé consiste à alimenter une bande (28) de paillettes (23) à travers le dispositif (50) agencée en correspondance avec au moins une des aiguilles (14), à entraîner pas à pas au moins un élément de traction (32) sur la bande (28), de manière couplée au mouvement de descente de l'aiguille (14), de façon à positionner une paillette (23) en dessous de l'aiguille (14) en position d'être cousue, et d'entraîner un assemblage de découpe (40, 41) afin de couper la paillette (23) de la bande (28), lorsque le bout de l'aiguille (14) atteint la paillette (23), provoquant ainsi la couture de la paillette sur le matériau textile (11).
