Espagnolette lock with a motor drive unit according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the gear spindle (4) is rotatable about its axis in both directions of rotation by means of the drive motor (2), and the spindle nut (8) is movable along the gear spindle (4) in both directions with a feed movement (9) by means of the rotating gear spindle (4) and is seated on the gear spindle (4) in such a manner that it can be carried thereby in both directions of rotation (5), in that for each feed direction (9) there is provided between the spindle nut (8) and the drive rod arrangement (21) a coupling (26) having at least one coupling part (27, 28) on the spindle nut side connected for driving with the spindle nut (8) and at least one coupling part (29, 30) on the drive rod side connected for movement with the drive rod arrangement (21), the coupling parts (27, 28, 29, 30) having on the one hand at least one coupling projection (48, 49) and on the other hand at least one coupling receiver (36, 37), wherein for each feed direction (9) at least one coupling projection (48, 49) and at least one coupling receiver (36, 37) can be engaged with one another when the spindle nut (8) is acted upon by the gear spindle (4) in the feed direction of rotation (5) in question, and wherein rotation of the spindle nut (8) in the feed direction of rotation (5) in question, when the coupling parts (27, 29; 28, 30) are engaged, is retarded, preferably is blocked, and wherein the spindle nut (8) is movable by the rotating gear spindle (4), together with the engaged coupling parts (27, 29; 28, 30) in question, along the gear spindle (4) with a feed movement (9).
  10. Espagnolette lock with a motor drive unit according to claim 9, characterised in that for each feed direction (9) the characterising features of at least one of claims 2 to 8 are provided.
  11. Espagnolette lock with a motor drive unit according to claim 9 or 10, characterised in that the coupling parts (27, 28) on the spindle nut side provided for both feed directions (9) and the coupling parts (29, 30) on the drive rod side provided for both feed directions (9) respectively are connected together in one piece.
  12. Espagnolette lock with a motor drive unit according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that there is provided a drive control by means of which, after the spindle nut (8) has reached an end position located in at least one feed direction (9), the direction of rotation (5) of the gear spindle (4) can be reversed, the rotary movement of the reversed gear spindle (4) ending as soon as the coupling parts (27, 29; 28, 30), which engaged with one another during the preceding feed movement (9) of the spindle nut (8), have been disengaged from one another with carrying of the spindle nut (8) by the reversed gear spindle (4).
  13. Espagnolette lock with a motor drive unit according to claim 12, characterised in that the direction of rotation (5) of the gear spindle (4) can be reversed by means of the drive control each time the spindle nut (8) reaches an end position.
  14. Espagnolette lock with a motor drive unit according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that there is provided as the drive motor (2) a motor whose speed is substantially independent of the load.
