Claims (11)

  1. Installation pour produire un index de pages d'un livre en vue de pouvoir retrouver de façon simplifiée des sections déterminées du livre comprenant
    - une surface support (1) prévue pour déposer une pile (3) de pages d'un livre, une entaille d'index (31) ou une encoche étant à former dans la zone supérieure de ladite pile le long de l'arête frontale (5),
    caractérisée par
    - une tête de fraiseur (13), de préférence en forme d'un disque circulaire, présentant un profil de fraisage (17) le long de sa périphérie et
    - par un dispositif moteur pour déplacer le support (1) et la tête de fraiseur (13) par un mouvement d'approche on d'éloignement pour ainsi permettre de produire avec la tête de fraiseur sur l'arête frontale ladite entaille (31) ou encoche.
  2. Installation selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que ladite surface support peut être réglée en hauteur, de telle façon que la hauteur de l'index à encoches soit produit par l'abaissement de la surface support.
  3. Installation selon l'une des revendications 1 ou 2, caractérisée par un élément de pression d'appui (9) pour presser ladite pile avec son arête frontale supérieure (7) contre ledit support, ledit élément de pression présentant un passage (11) permettant un mouvement libre de la tête de fraiseur à travers ce passage.
  4. Installation selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisée en ce que la tête de fraiseur présente, vu en direction transversale, un profil extérieur (21) arrondi.
  5. Installation selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisée en ce que la tête de fraiseur présente, vu en direction transversale, un profil extérieur (21) polygonale.
  6. Installation selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5, caractérisée en ce que le fraiseur est une fraise à queue creuse.
  7. Installation selon l'une des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisée en ce que la tête de fraiseur présente un mécanisme d'entraînement par rotation et est montée de manière coulissante pour pouvoir être déplacée en s'approchant ou en s'éloignant de l'arête frontale supérieure de ladite pile de pages.
  8. Procédé pour produire un index de pages d'un livre ou d'un index à encoches permettant de retrouver de façon rapide et simple certains thèmes, sections, rubriques et similaires dans un livre, dans lequel la pile de pages du livre précédant le thème, la section ou la rubrique en question est déposée sur une surface support avec les autres pages soulevées automatiquement ou manuellement, caractérisé en ce qu'une tête de fraiseur en rotation de préférence sous forme de disque circulaire est déplacée transversalement par rapport à la face frontale de la pile de pages contre l'arête des pages supérieure et une encoche ou entaille de profondeur prédéterminée est produite.
  9. Procédé selon la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce que le mouvement de va-et-vient de la tète de fraiseur par rapport à la pile respectivement la production de l'encoche ou de l'entaille est exécuté avec répétition, tel que les indexes à encoches soient arrangés décalés latéralement et en hauteur dans la pile des pages, avec chaque fois entre la production de deux encoches ou entailles de l'index qui se suivent le thème, la section ou la rubrique à identifier avec l'encoche ou l'entaille produite déposé sur la pile des pages sur la surface support.
  10. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 8 ou 9, caractérisé en ce que la hauteur de l'encoche ou de l'entaille peut être produite par un abaissement de la surface support.
  11. Procédé selon l'une des revendications 8 à 10, caractérisé en ce que la pose de la pile des pages du livre sur la surface support peut se faire manuellement ou automatiquement.
