Definitions

  • the invention relates to a terminal block system for the realization of terminal block assemblies on a mounting rail according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • cross-connection elements for cross-connection which are comb-like and have a transverse web which is provided with mutually parallel, separable from the transverse web and arranged at a predetermined grid spacing contact tips.
  • the invention has the object to solve this problem.
  • At least one spacer plate is arranged, which is dimensioned such that fit the tips of the cross-connecting element in the Ausnahlöcher the cross connection channel of at least one of the adjacent terminal blocks of different design, which the contours of the adjacent terminal blocks of various types, between which Distance plate is arranged, completely covering.
  • the spacer plates can be combined with at least two different feed terminals and / or at least two through terminals of different sizes of the system.
  • the invention goes a different way, because with the spacer plates it is again possible to "jump" in the grid. It must be separated from the comb-like cross-connection element only in the transition region between the terminal blocks of different types each at least one of the tips. In itself, however, the cross-connection elements remain usable.
  • the terminal block system has different sizes of feed-through terminals and the spacer plates are dimensioned such that their length at least that of the longest Duchgangsklemme and their height at least that of the highest through terminal of the terminal block system corresponds, so that the spacer plates in the direction of assembly completely cover all the through terminals ,
  • a spacer plate is arranged between each feed terminal and the terminals to be fed.
  • the spacer plates on break lines on separable sections.
  • This variant has the advantage that in the case in which the spacer plate protrudes laterally beyond the adjacent terminal blocks, a corresponding section of the spacer plate can simply be "broken off”.
  • FIG. 1 shows a terminal block arrangement with terminal blocks 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e, 1f of a first type-here, for example, through terminals-and with a terminal block 2 of a second type-here by way of example a feeder terminal-in a juxtaposition, as shown for example in FIG. not shown here) support rail can be formed.
  • the terminal blocks of the two types each have locking means 3 for latching onto the mounting rail. They are also here in each case connected at their tops with terminals 4, 5 for connecting external conductors.
  • the terminal blocks 1 first type for example, on their side facing away from the DIN rail top four terminals 4a-d for conductors of a first diameter
  • the terminal block 2 of the second type at least one terminal 5a, b, but which are designed for connecting conductors which have a preferably larger diameter in relation to the terminals 4 of the terminal blocks 1 of the first type.
  • the terminal blocks of different types may have different widths b, b '(in the direction of arrangement) and different lengths 1, 1' (transverse to the direction of arrangement, see also Fig. 2).
  • Their overall height h relative detent position on the mounting rail is, however, the same in the present case.
  • the overall height h could also be different, but the contacts of the transverse connection elements (described in more detail below) should lie at a height above the mounting rail.
  • the terminal blocks 1, 2 of both types have at least one so-called cross-connecting channel 6, 7, in which comb-like cross-connecting elements 8 with a transverse web 9 and disposed thereon contact tips 10 are inserted, as they are known for example from DE 297 19 177 U1.
  • the tips 10 are detachably formed (i.e., they can be broken off unless they are needed) and are arranged at a fixed pitch r relative to each other.
  • the cross-connection channels 6, 7 of the terminal blocks of different types lie in one plane or they are aligned with each other in the rail direction.
  • cross-connecting channels 6, 7 of the terminal blocks 1, 2 of both types each have at least one receiving hole 11, 12 for inserting the tips 10 of the cross-connecting elements 8 is formed.
  • the sequence of the terminal blocks of the first type and the one terminal block of the second type can each be completed with such a closure plate 13, 14 at their open sides.
  • the terminal blocks 1 of the first type to the terminal block 2 of the second type in the direction of arrangement are each completely covered by one of the spacer plate 15, 16.
  • the width d of these spacer plates 15, 16 is chosen such that the tips 10 of the comb-like cross-connecting element 8 (after the removal of excess tips 10) in turn in each receiving hole 11, 12 of each terminal 1, 2 of the terminal block assembly can be inserted.
  • the spacer plates 15, 16 are dimensioned such that they can be used in various types of terminal blocks 1 of the first type (generally, through-type terminals). If a terminal block system is planned, the spacer plates 15, 16 must have such an area that all terminal blocks of the arrangement and a corresponding terminal block system are covered with her to get along as possible with only a single type of spacer plates. This is illustrated in particular also in FIGS. 2a-c.
  • the width d of the spacer plates 15, 16 is selected so that after removing the adjacent tips that tip 10, which is inserted into the terminal block 2 of the second type, preferably the next but two tips 10 back into the receiving holes in the spacer plates 15, 16 subsequent further terminal blocks 1 first type intervene.
  • the width d of the spacer plates 15, 16 is preferably smaller than the width b of the through terminals 1.
  • Fig. 2 which shows by way of example different terminal block assemblies, which can be realized with a parent terminal system
  • the surface of the spacer plates 15, 16 is dimensioned so that all terminal blocks of the first type and also second type are completely covered in the direction of arrangement.
  • Terminal blocks of the first type have a smaller height or one or both sides of the transverse connecting element 8 a smaller length 1 (Fig. 2b and 2c) than the spacer plates 15, 16 (see Fig. 2a, 2b and 2c), so that the spacer plates in this area survive over the feed-through terminals.
  • this effect is outweighed by the advantage of the same part insert (only one type of spacer plates 15, 16 required).
  • the feed terminal has two receiving holes 12. It is therefore not a single cross-connection element used but there are two cross-connecting elements 8 are used. These are each by itself by the use of spacer plates to the left or right again in the grid.
  • the feed terminal has only a single receiving hole 12.
  • the cross-connection arrangement corresponds to that of Fig. 2a.
  • Fig. 2c shows a cross-connection arrangement with a smaller detent spacing of the contact tips 10, wherein the through terminals 1 have a smaller width than the feed-through terminals 1 of Fig. 2a.
