und die Saugkörpereinheit 17 in Abhängigkeit dieses Messwertes vertikal verstellt
werden. Im Ergebnis befinden sich die Saugwalzen 18 mit ihrem Umfang damit immer in
Höhe der Oberseite der neuen Lage und drücken damit nicht auf den jeweils

Claims (10)
- An apparatus for aligning at least the leading edges of a plurality of sheets (04) arranged one above the other in a stack, while maintaining the sequence of the sheets (04), having a supporting table (16) with a leading-edge stop for aligning the leading edges of the sheets (04) provided on one side, wherein a carrying plate is arranged upstream of the supporting table (16), on which the sheets (04) are set down in a stack with non-aligned leading edges, wherein a sheet feeder (02) is provided in the apparatus (01), by means of which the sheets (04) are removed from the carrying plate to form an imbricated stream with underlap imbrication, wherein a turning arrangement (06) is arranged downstream of the sheet feeder (02), by means of which the imbricated stream is turned such that each sheet (04) is freely accessible in the region of its leading edge, and wherein a conveying arrangement (17) is arranged downstream of the turning arrangement (06), by means of which the sheets (04) are conveyed to the leading-edge stop of the supporting table (16), with a new stack being formed in the process, and are aligned there by way of their leading edges, wherein the apparatus (01) contains a side pull-type lay (07), against which a side edge of the sheet (04) in the imbricated stream can be aligned laterally, characterized in that the side pull-type lay (07) is arranged between the sheet feeder (02) and turning arrangement (06).
- The apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that the turning arrangement (06) contains a roller (13), against the circumference of which the sheets (04) of the imbricated stream can be brought into abutment and turned by virtue of the roller (13) being driven in rotation.
- The apparatus according to claim 2, characterized in that the turning arrangement (06) contains guide belts (12), by means of which the sheets (04) can be pressed, at least in certain sections, onto the circumference of the roller (13).
- The apparatus according to claim 3, characterized in that the guide belts (12) are designed, at least at the outlet of the turning arrangement (06), as suction belts (12).
- The apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that the conveying speed of the conveying arrangement (17) can be changed, in particular regulated or controlled.
- The apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that the conveying arrangement (17) is designed in the manner of a suction-body unit (17), of which the suction bodies (18) attach the sheets (04) of the imbricated stream by suction in the region of the freely accessible leading edges and, by way of the corresponding drive action, convey them against the leading-edge stop.
- The apparatus according to claim 6, characterized in that the suction bodies (18) are designed in the manner of suction rollers (18) which can be driven in rotation.
- The apparatus according to claim 6, characterized in that the suction-body unit (17) is mounted in a vertically displaceable manner.
- The apparatus according to claim 8, characterized in that the suction-body unit (17) is mounted resiliently.
- The apparatus according to claim 8, characterized in that the vertical position of the suction-body unit (17) can be changed in dependence on the height of the newly formed stack of sheets (04).
