Claims (20)
- Locking apparatus (5) for the fixed leaf (4) of a multi-leafed door (1) with a self-locking function, wherein a latch (8) is spring-loadedly urged into the locked condition, and wherein an operating device (11), which is operable from the narrow side (10), is provided on the narrow side (10) and through which the latch (8) can be pulled into the open position against its pretensioning, wherein the operating device (11) is connected to the latch (8) through an entrainment device in such a manner that the latch (8) is pushable from its locked position into its unlocked position without co-movement of the operating device (11), characterized in that the operating device (11) comprises a manually slidable slider (12) which is connected to the latch (8) through a connecting bar (9) and wherein the latch (8) and the slider (12) are slidable relatively to each other.
- Apparatus according to claim 1,
characterized in that the latch (8) is an upper latch (8). - Apparatus according to claim 1 or 2,
characterized in that the slider (12) is arrangeable on or in slider guideway device (20, 14) provided on the narrow side (10). - Apparatus according to claim 3,
characterized in that the slider guideway device is a slider housing (14). - Apparatus according to claim 4,
characterized in that the slider housing (14) is formed by an angled locking bar (13) or a hollow profile (32) which is fit to a door leaf base body (29) for forming a door leaf as a fixed leaf (4). - Apparatus according to any one of the claims 3 to 5,
characterized in that the slider guideway device comprises plate (20) with a slit (22) for guiding the slider, which is to be fixed to the narrow side of the fixed wing. - Apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized by a double spring system (7, 18).
- Apparatus according to claim 7,
characterized in that both latch (8) and operating device (11) are spring mounted. - Device according to any one of the preceding claims,
characterized in that the latch (8) is provided with a latch pretensioning device (7) that urges the latch (8) into its locked position and the operating device (11) is provided with an operating device pretensioning device (18) that pretensions the operating device (11) in its closed position. - Apparatus according to claim 9,
characterized in that the pretensioning force of the latch pretensioning device (7) is smaller than the pretensioning force of the operating device pretensioning device (18). - Apparatus according to claim 9 or 10,
characterized in that the latch pretensioning device comprises a latch spring (7) to pretension the latch (8) and the operating device pretensioning device (18) comprises a connecting element spring (18) that pretensions an operating unit (12) of the operating device (11) and/or a connecting element (17, 19) which connects the latch (8) with the operating unit (12) in its closed position. - Apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a connecting element (17) is connected to the latch (8) and the operating device (11) comprises a second connecting element (19) which is connected to an operating unit (12) of the operating device (11) wherein the first and the second connecting element (17, 19) are connectable to each other through a linking device (27) that is engageable in an assembled state.
- Apparatus according to claim 12,
characterized in that the first connecting element is a latch bar (17) which is connectable to the second connecting element (19) which is carrying the slider (12) through a screw thread (30). - Apparatus according to claim 13,
characterized in that the second connecting element (19) is moveably guided in a holding element (20) of the operating device which is stationary mountable to the narrow side of the moveable leaf (4). - Apparatus according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that an operating unit (12) of the operating device (11) is situated within a recess (21) of a fastening member (20), which is stationary fixable on a narrow side of the fixed leaf (4).
- Fixed leaf of a multi-leafed door,
characterized by a locking apparatus according to one of the preceding claims. - Fixed leaf of claim 16,
characterized in that a hollow profile is provided on a narrow side area facing a further leaf (3) of the multi-leafed door (1) as an angled locking bar (13) or a middle rail (31), wherein the locking device (5) is arranged in the hollow profile. - Fixed leaf according to claim 16 or 17,
characterized by a door leaf case made of sheet steel or other sheet metal, which is filled with a material which is considerably weaker than the sheet steel or the sheet metal, like honeycomb carton, tube plate, mineral wool or similar insulation material. - Fire door with a fixed door leaf according to anyone of the claims 16 to 18.
- Method for the installation of a locking apparatus (5) according to anyone of the claims 1 to 15 into a fixed leaf (4) according to anyone of the claims 16 to 18,
characterized by the following order of steps:a) fixing of the operating device (11) on the narrow side of the fixed leaf (4),b) insertion of the latch (8) with a connecting bar (9) fixed thereto, the connecting bar (9) connecting the latch (8) with the operating device (11) through the upper side of the fixed leaf (4),c) fixing the connecting bar (9) to a manually slidable slider (12) connected to the latch (8) through the connecting bar (9) as an operating unit (12, 19) of the operating device (11), such that the operating device (11) is connected to the latch (8) through an entrainment device such that the latch (8) can be pushed from its locking position into its unlocked position without a co-movement of the operating device (11), wherein the latch (8) and the slider (12) are moveable relatively to each other.
