Definitions
- the invention relates to a fuse link, in particular for low-voltage high-performance fuses (NH fuses), with one in a housing arranged working conductor and with a Display device which has a display element on the front side and on the lateral surface having the fuse insert, wherein the display element of one arranged in the housing, electrically parallel to the working conductor is located fixed in a prestressed position, which at the Front portion of the display element attacks, and the end portion of the display element Loosely applied to a housing closing the cover plate.
- NH fuses low-voltage high-performance fuses
- Such a fuse link is known from DE-PS 1 034 751.
- the display element consists of a slider which is displaceable in the longitudinal direction in or on the wall of the housing designed as an insulating body is guided.
- the slide is under spring pressure and protrudes to the display a mark attached to the end of the slider over the cover plate of the fuse link out while the indicator on the lateral surface through Visible to a mark attached to the other end of the slider in an opening of the housing takes place.
- the projecting beyond the cover plate End has a turn on which the indicator fusible conductor acts.
- a coil spring for acting on the slider is in the frontal Recess of the housing used. - This design with in the Recess integrated spring is right under structural and mounting aspects consuming.
- the display element can be sufficient when the fuse is triggered be moved, which causes the displacement of the display element Spring is arranged inside the housing. Also changed in the case of triggering the fuse beyond the cover plate Forehead portion of the display element does not have its shape. This is for that Detecting the tripped state of the fuse adversely.
- DE 197 44 535 A1 is a fuse link with front and center detectors described in which the protruding from the fuse insert end portion of the display element is designed as a spring plate, the two leg sections having.
- the one leg section is placed in the shell section of the display element, which is the frontal recess of the housing penetrated while the other leg of the front portion of the display element between the cover plate and the housing is clamped.
- the spring relaxes, leaving itself spread the two legs of the front portion of the display element and thus with the shell portion of the display element, as it were Forming a triangle.
- the viewer facing surface of the end portion the display element is positioned obliquely to the cover plate.
- WO 99/40599 is a fuse link with front and center detectors known, in which the end portion of the display element is formed as a spring is, which has Z-shape.

- WO 98/07172 is a fuse link with front and center detectors known in which the skirt portion of the display element outside of Housing is guided between this and a cover of the housing. The simply angled end portion of the display element is located on the Cover plate on. The electrical connection in parallel connection of the display melting conductor to the working fusible conductor takes place via the blade contact of the Securing by ripping the display element on the blade contact. Sofem the spring element of a material which is not sufficiently electrically conductive is provided, an electrically conductive layer in the area between to provide for the attachment of the display fuse and the blade contact. If the cover plate is made of insulating material, it will be for reasons the Berstoffschutzes considered advantageous, the spring element electrically insulating to coat. Is in such a fuse power over initiates the knife contact facing the end detector, this leads to that when triggered fuse, the spring element is not unlocked, thus remains under tension.
- Object of the present invention is to provide a fuse link of said Type to continue to form so that when triggered the fuse triggered State clearly by a large displacement of the display element can be recognized.
- the display element should also be easily formed and easy to mount, as well as captive in the housing of the fuse link be held.
- the problem is solved in a fuse link of the aforementioned Type in that the forehead section Loosely on a closing the housing Cover plate rests and a facility for limiting the displacement of the display element when triggered the fuse is provided.

- the assembly of the display element can thus by easy plugging done.
- the Z-shape of the spring ensures a very large parallel displacement of the parallel legs of the spring and thus a straight-line displacement of the shell portion of the display element.
- the large displacement of the display element when triggering the fuse Ensures that the untripped or tripped state of the fuse both in the area of the end detector and in the area of the lateral surface located center detector can be reliably detected. So that the display element, when triggering the fuse and thus severing the indicator melt timer, is held captive, the extension movement of Indicator limited by a projection attached to this, the at a defined extension a return of the recess in Housing jacket touched.
- the display element is under both manufacturing and under Optimized assembly points when it is integrally formed. Especially it is formed as a bent or bent leaf spring made of metal.
- the shell portion of the display element passes through, wherein the housing in the region of the frontal recess has an opening to the outside, can so, upon displacement of the shell portion of the display element in accordance with the region of the display element which is aligned with the opening, due to the color specification of the switching state of the fuse be recognized.
- the travel limit of the display element when triggering the fuse can be accomplished in different ways. Especially easy the travel limit occurs when the jacket portion with a lateral projection is provided, in operative connection with the cover plate or between the cover plate and the housing arranged sealing plate can be brought.
- the lateral projection can be easily generated by the manufacturing of the display element, a small lateral web of the shell section in Type of a barb is bent out. It is also a form the shell portion conceivable that ensures this function.
- the indicator fusible conductor is preferably with the outer parallel leg connected to the Z-shaped spring. This can be done in a simple way happen that the outer leg with the wire end in clamp-cutting technique connected is.
- the cover plate in the fuse link is non-conductive.
- the electrical contact of the display semiconductor so via the spring that they, in the means of the display melted conductor tensioned Condition, this cover plate facing bearing plate / knife plate contacted by the blade contact of the fuse.
- the contact can this is done in different ways. happens the power supply into the fuse link via the blade contact that the Spring facing, a triggering of the fuse causes this blade contact still under tension.
- the knife contact which is plugged into a receptacle contact, usually against unauthorized Touched secured. So that the display element is not live, provides a preferred embodiment of the invention that it is triggered at Fuse is unlocked.
- the activation of the display element takes place in particular by the fact that the inner parallel leg of the spring inserted into a recess of the cover plate is.
- the electrical contacting takes place via the transition region of outer leg of the spring and the two parallel legs of the spring connecting diagonal section of the spring, said transition area is formed in particular bead-like.
- the formation of the recess of the cover plate is also under the aspect of optimal positioning of the spring, especially to see during their installation.
- adjusting the receiving surface of the recess and the surface of the inner Parallel leg is just a movement of the spring in the plane of the recess, possible with little play.
