Description

The invention relates to a floor-level shower tray with a thin-walled cup body made of an optionally reinforced with a glass fiber reinforced plastic acrylic resin and a molded to the cup body support plate made of foam, between which and an edge portion of the cup body over the edge portion projecting sealing bands are provided.

For easy placement of floor-level shower bases, it is known (DE 38 09 068 A1) prefabricate the shower tray from a foam plate, which is provided with a tile covering and has a drain, so that these prefabricated shower tray only on the unfinished floor of a wet room and transferred to a Drainpipe must be connected. The disadvantage of these prefabricated shower trays with a tile covering is on the one hand, the relatively expensive installation of tile covering and on the other hand, the error-free grouting not only the tile covering, but also the transition from the shower tray to the subsequent, also tiled bottom of the wet room dependent waterproofness. To avoid these disadvantages has been proposed (DE 197 23 153 A1) to prefabricate the shower tray of a thin-walled cup body and a molded on the cup body support plate made of foam. The thin-walled cup body made of acrylic resin optionally with a glass fiber reinforced plastic layer on the underside of the cup body has the peripheral surface of the cup body cross-edge portions between which and the support plate over the edge portions projecting sealing bands are provided. These effective sealing lips as sealing lips must first when moving the shower tray to the front of the edge portion against this and then bent or folded away from the edge portion against the adjoining floor, so that the sealing strips bridge the connecting joint between the shower tray and a floor covering. Apart from the fact that this repeated bending of the sealing tapes makes the Versetzungsarbeiten consuming, there is also the danger that the sealing strips can not guarantee the required tightness in the transition region between the cup body and the subsequent floor covering, so that these sealing tapes are additionally covered by a sealing film.

The invention is therefore based on the object, a floor-level shower tray of the type described with simple structural means in such a way that despite simple displacement conditions of the cup body moistureproof can be connected to the adjacent flooring of Naßraumes.

The invention solves this problem by the fact that the cup body to the surface of the support plate parallel, flush with the frontal peripheral surface of the support plate final edge portions, between which and the support plate, the sealing strips protrude parallel to the plate.

Since these measures complete the edge portions of the cup body flush with the frontal peripheral surface of the support plate and surround this peripheral surface of the support plate, the sealing strips between the edge portions and the support plate can protrude parallel to the plate and placed without bending or folding on the adjoining floor flat before the Flooring is applied. This substantially planar sealing strip course not only facilitates the Versetzungsarbeit, but also ensures a moisture-tight connection of the shower tray to the adjacent flooring. Prerequisite for this are parallel to the surface of the support plate edge portions of the cup body, flush with the frontal peripheral surface of the support plate, so that the thin-walled cup body through the support plate in the edge region undergoes sufficient support to the otherwise required for reasons of inherent strength, angled To dispense with edge bars.

Because of the plate-parallel protruding, between the edge portions of the cup body and the support plate protruding, unbent seal bands also results in a simple connection of the sealing bands in the corners, especially when the along the edge portions of the cup body extending sealing bands overlap each other in the corners of the cup body. When moving the shower tray, the sealing tapes need only be glued together in a conventional manner in the overlapping area with each other and with the adjacent floor and the floor covering.

Fig. 2

The shower tray consists according to the illustrated embodiment of a thin-walled cup body 1 made of acrylic resin, the edge portions 2 expire flat without profiling. At this cup body 1, which drops from the edge portions 2 with a slight slope to a drain 3, a support plate 4 made of foam, whose peripheral surface 5 is flush with the edge portions 2 of the cup body 1 is formed. The support plate 4 takes as shown in FIG. 2, a connected to the drainage 3 drain pipe 6, which is to be connected when moving the shower tray with a corresponding drain pipe. Between the edge portions 2 of the cup body 1 and the support plate 4 sealing strips 7 are provided, which protrude parallel to the plate over the edge portions 2 and extend along the circumference of the cup body 1. In the corner regions of the cup body 1, the sealing bands 7 overlap one another, as can be seen from FIG.

The prefabricated in the form described shower tray can be offset according to FIG. 2 directly or possibly with the interposition of an insulating layer on a green floor 8, wherein the height of the support plate 4 and the thickness of the adjoining screed 9 are coordinated, so that the over the edge the shower tray protruding sealing bands 7 overlap the screed 9 and thus cover the butt joint between the support plate 4 and the screed 9 moisture-proof. Since the dash-dotted lines indicated flooring 10, which may consist for example of laid on the screed tiles 9, the sealing tapes 7 covered and bonded in a conventional manner with the sealing tapes 7 moisture-tight, results in a simple, moisture-tight connection between the cup body 1 and the subsequent floor covering 10 regardless of whether the introduced into the joint between the cup body 1 and the adjacent flooring 10 grout mass moisture-tight filling the butt joint or not. Since the edge sections 2 are essentially flat, there are no pockets unavoidable due to curved sealing strips in which seepage water could accumulate.
