Description

Die Erfindung richtet sich auf eine Kosmetik-Einheit, insbesondere auf eine Mascara-Test-Einheit, umfassend einen Behälter für eine kosmetische Flüssigkeit und eine auf den Behälter aufsteckbare Verschlusskappe, wobei zur Erleichterung des Abziehens der Verschlusskappe im Bereich des oberen Randes des Behälters und im Bereich des unteren Randes der Verschlusskappe jeweils eine Verzahnung ausgebildet ist, wobei die Verzahnungen bei aufgesetzter Verschlusskappe ineinandergreifen. Eine derartige gattungsgemäße Kosmetik-Einheit ist aus der DE 100 29 378 A1 bekannt.
Hiervon ausgehend liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine solche Kosmetik-Einheit so auszubilden, dass sie ein sehr schlankes Erscheinungsbild bei durchgehender äußerer Mantelfläche bietet, kostengünstig herstellbar ist, die Verschlusskappe leicht abziehbar ist und vor allem auch die erforderliche Dichtfunktion gewährleistet ist. Insbesondere soll sie als Mascara-Test-Einheit geeignet sein.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass der Behälter einen unter Ausbildung einer Ringschulter zurückspringenden, zylinderförmigen Abschnitt aufweist, an welchem die behälterseitige Verzahnung ausgebildet ist, und die Verschlusskappe eine nach unten offene Ringnut, in welcher die verschlusskappenseitige Verzahnung ausgebildet ist, wobei die Außenwand der Verschlusskappe mit ihrer Stirnseite im wesentlichen auf der Ringschulter des Behälters aufliegt und dementsprechend der untere Rand der Außenwand der Verschlusskappe die Verzahnungen überdeckt.
Hierdurch wird ein besonders schlankes Erscheinungsbild realisierbar, wie es insbesondere für Test-Einheiten mit kleinem Behältervolumen wünschenswert ist. Dabei sollen aber die im Inneren angeordneten Elemente unverändert dimensioniert sein, um normale Auftragsbedingungen zu erhalten. Durch die verdeckt ausgebildeten Verzahnungen wird eine durchgehende und damit problemlos bedruckbare Mantelfläche erreicht und eine Schmutzablagerung im Bereich der Verzahnungen vermieden.
Soweit im Vorstehenden davon die Rede ist, dass die Stirnseite der Verschlusskappe auf der Ringschulter des Behälters aufliegt, ist dies so zu verstehen, dass naturgemäß herstellungstechnisch immer ein gewisses Spiel gegeben ist und lediglich im wesentlichen eine Abdichtung erzielt werden soll.
Vorteilhafterweise kann vorgesehen sein, dass die Verzahnungen durch eine Folge wellenförmiger, nebeneinander angeordneter Zähne gebildet sind. Dabei können die Flanken benachbarter Zähne günstigerweise einen Winkel von ca. 90° einschließen.
Der zylinderförmige Abschnitt bzw. die Ringschulter an dem Behälter sind mit Vorteil durch Reduzierung der Wandstärke der Behälterwand ausgebildet. An der Innenwand des Behälters kann eine Ringnut zum Einrasten eines korrespondierenden, an der Verschlusskappe ausgebildeten Ringwulstes vorgesehen sein, um auf diese Weise eine axiale Verrastung zu erzielen.
Weiterhin kann an der Innenwand des Behälters eine ringförmige Ausnehmung mit einem Hinterschnitt zur Festlegung eines entsprechenden Außenrandes der Dichteinrichtung vorgesehen sein.
Ein ganz besonders guter Sitz im geschlossenen Zustand wird dadurch erzielt, dass die Innenwand des Behälters sich zur Behälteröffnung hin konisch erweitert und der dort eingreifende Abschnitt der Verschlusskappe sich entsprechend konisch verjüngt.
Nachfolgend wird die Erfindung anhand eines bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiels in Verbindung mit der Zeichnung näher beschrieben. Dabei zeigen:

Eine in der Zeichnung dargestellte Mascara-Einheit 1 umfasst einen Behälter 2 für Mascara-Flüssigkeit und eine auf den Behälter aufsteckbare Verschlusskappe 3, an welcher über einen Stiel 4 ein Applikator 5 in Form eines Mascara-Bürstchens befestigt ist, der im aufgesteckten Zustand der Verschlusskappe 3 in das Innere des Behälters 2 eintaucht. An der Oberseite des Behälters 2 ist eine Abstreifeinrichtung 6 zum Abstreifen überflüssiger Mascara-Flüssigkeit von dem Mascara-Bürstchen 5 beim Herausziehen desselben aus dem Behälter 2 angeordnet.
Der obere Rand 7 des Behälters 2 weist einen unter Ausbildung einer stirnseitigen Ringschulter 8 zurückspringenden, zylinderförmigen Abschnitt 9 auf. Der untere Rand 10 der Verschlusskappe 3 weist von der Stirnseite her eine nach unten offene korrespondierende Ringnut 11 auf, deren Breite der Wandstärke des Abschnitts 9 mit vermindertem Durchmesser entspricht, wobei die Breite der am unteren Rand 10 verbleibenden Außenwand 12 der Verschlusskappe der Breite der Schulter 8 am Behälter 2 entspricht. Dementsprechend lässt sich die Verschlusskappe 3 auf den oberen Rand 7 des Behälters 2 formschlüssig aufstecken.
Eine Besonderheit liegt aber darin, dass der Abschnitt 9, wie aus Fig. 2 und 3 zu ersehen ist, eine Verzahnung 13 aufweist, die aus einer Folge abgerundeter Zacken besteht. Der Flankenwinkel zweier benachbarter Zacken 14 beträgt rund 90°.
In der Ringnut 11 der Verschlusskappe 3 ist eine korrespondierende, in Fig. 4 und 5 erkennbare Verzahnung ausgebildet, die ebenfalls einen Flankenwinkel β von rund 90° zwischen zwei benachbarten Zähnen 16 aufweist.
Beim Aufstecken der Verschlusskappe 3 auf den Behälter 2 greifen die Verzahnungen 13 bzw. 15 formschlüssig ineinander und die Stirnseite 12 der Außenwand 17 der Verschlusskappe 3 kommt zum Anschlag auf der Ringschulter 8 des Behälters 2. Dementsprechend sind, wie in Fig. 1 dargestellt, Behälter 2 und Verschlusskappe 3 nach außen hin durchgehend verbunden, d.h. die Außenwand 17 der Verschlusskappe 3 fluchtet mit der Außenwand 18 des Behälters 2, und die Verzahnungen 13, 15 sind von außen nicht sichtbar. Dies bedeutet, dass einerseits ein ästhetisch ansprechender und andererseits hermetisch dichter Verschluss realisiert ist.
An dieser Stelle ist anzumerken, dass an eine solche Testverpackung die an sich konkurrienden Anforderungen gestellt werden, einen hohen Dichtigkeitsgrad zu erreichen und andererseits ein leichtes Öffnen und Schließen zu ermöglichen. Üblicherweise muss zur Erzielung einer hohen Dichtigkeit eine erschwerte Handhabung in Kauf genommen werden. Zur Dichtigkeit einer erfindungsgemäßen Verpackung trägt im Übrigen auch der Abstreifer bzw. das Abstreifermaterial, vorzugsweise aus LDPE, Gummi oder TPE bei.
Zum Öffnen des Behälters 2, d.h. zum Abnehmen der Verschlusskappe 3, wird diese relativ zum Behälter leicht gedreht, wodurch die Zähne 16 der Verzahnung 15 sich längs der Flanken der Zähne 14 der Verzahnung 13 des Behälters 2 nach oben bewegen, so dass die Verschlusskappe 3 einfach und leicht gelöst wird und abgezogen werden kann, auch wenn der Verbindungsbereich von Behälter 2 und Kappe 3 z.B. durch Mascara-Flüssigkeit o. dgl. verklebt sein sollte.
Mit anderen Worten werden die Verzahnungen 13, 15 im aufgesetzten Zustand der Verschlusskappe von dem unteren Ende 19 der Außenwand 17 der Verschlusskappe 3, welches mit seiner Stirnfläche 12 an der Ringschulter 8 des Behälters 2 anliegt, überdeckt. Der Abschnitt 9 verjüngten Durchmessers und die Ringschulter 8 werden durch eine Reduzierung der Wandstärke der Behälterwand 20 des Behälters 2 ausgebildet.
An der Innenwand 21 der Behälterwand 20 ist eine Ringnut 22 ausgebildet, in welche ein korrespondierender Rastwulst 23 der Verschlusskappe beim Aufsetzen der Verschlusskappe einrastet, so dass eine axiale Arretierung geschaffen wird. Mit anderen Worten wird die einmalig aufgebrachte axiale Rastkraft beim Verschließen durch die Ringnut 22 bzw. des Rastwulst 23 permanent hergestellt.
Eine weitere ringförmige Ausnehmung 24 an der Innenwand 21 des Behälters 2 mit einem Hinterschnitt 25 dient zur Festlegung der Abstreifeinrichtung 6 über einen ringförmigen Rastwulst 26 derselben.
Im Bereich der Öffnung 27 des Behälters 2 ist dessen Innenwand 21 sich nach außen hin konisch aufweitend ausgebildet, und der dort eingreifende Abschnitt 28 der Verschlusskappe 3 ist entsprechend sich nach unten hin konisch verjüngend gestaltet.
Die Abstreifeinrichtung 6 ist zur Ausbildung einer Dichtfunktion im Bereich ihrer oberen Innenseite konisch, z. B. mit einem Konuswinkel von 15,6°, ausgestaltet, sodass beim Aufschrauben der Verschlusskappe 3 ein Presssitz entsteht, wie aus Fig. 1 erkennbar ist. Hierdurch wird also ein sehr guter Dicht-Schutz erreicht, der aber zur Anforderung des leichten Öffnens mit einem Drehmoment vom 0,5 Ncm bis 50 Ncm konkurriert. Dieses Problem wird durch die erfindungsgemäße Verzahnung 14 mit einem Flankenwinkel von 75° oder größer gelöst.
Gleichzeitig ist diese Dimensionierung hilfreich beim Abfüllen und Verschließen, wo die Kappe 3 selbstfindend in den Behälter 2 einrasten muss. Vorteilhaft sind insoweit auch die abgerundeten Oberkanten der Zähne mit einem Radius 0,3 mm oder größer.
Die erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung ermöglicht die Realisierung einer besonders schlanken Kosmetik-Einheit, d.h. einen geringen Außendurchmesser bei vorgegebenem Innendurchmesser, wobei trotzdem eine gute Dichtfunktion und ein leichtes Öffnen gewährleistet sind.
Der Außendurchmesser von Behälter 2 und Verschlusskappe 3 kann vorzugsweise zwischen 8 und 15 mm, bei einem Durchmesser des Stiels 4 von mehr als 1,8 mm liegen. Der Innendurchmesser des Behälters 2 kann zwischen 4 und 12 mm liegen.
Im Bereich der Verzahnung 13 kann die Gesamt-Wanddicke zwischen 0,8 und 3,5 mm liegen, wobei die Wanddicke des Abschnitts 9 bzw. des unteren Endes 19 zwischen 0,3 und 2 mm liegt, die Wandstärke der Zähne 14, 16 bei o,4 bis 1 mm, die Breite der Ringausnehmung 11 bei 0,2 b bis 1,2 mm.

Claims (7)

  1. Kosmetik-Einheit umfassend einen Behälter für eine kosmetische Flüssigkeit und eine auf den Behälter aufsteckbare Verschlusskappe, wobei zur Erleichterung des Abziehens der Verschlusskappe im Bereich des oberen Randes des Behälters und im Bereich des unteren Randes der Verschlusskappe jeweils eine Verzahnung ausgebildet ist, wobei die Verzahnungen bei aufgesetzter Verschlusskappe ineinandergreifen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Behälter (2) einen unter Ausbildung einer Ringschulter (8) zurückspringenden, zylinderförmigen Abschnitt (9) aufweist, an welchem die behälterseitige Verzahnung (13) ausgebildet ist, und die Verschlusskappe (3) eine nach unten offene Ringnut (11), in welcher die verschlusskappenseitige Verzahnung (15) ausgebildet ist, wobei die Außenwand (17) der Verschlusskappe (3) mit ihrer Stirnseite (12) im wesentlichen auf der Ringschulter (8) des Behälters (2) aufliegt und dementsprechend der untere Rand (19) der Außenwand (17) der Verschlusskappe (3) die Verzahnungen (13, 15) überdeckt.
  2. Kosmetik-Einheit nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verzahnungen (13, 15) durch eine Folge wellenförmiger, nebeneinander angeordneter Zähne (14, 16) gebildet sind.
  3. Kosmetik-Einheit nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Flanken benachbarter Zähne (14 bzw. 16) einen Winkel (α bzw. β) von ca. 90° einschließen.
  4. Kosmetik-Einheit nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Abschnitt (9) bzw. die Ringschulter (8) an dem Behälter (2) durch Reduzierung der Wandstärke der Behälterwand (20) ausgebildet sind.
  5. Kosmetik-Einheit nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an der Innenwand (21) des Behälters (2) eine Ringnut (22) zum Einrasten eines korrespondierenden an der Verschlusskappe (3) ausgebildeten Ringwulstes (23) vorgesehen ist.
  6. Kosmetik-Einheit nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an der Innenwand (21) des Behälters (2) eine ringförmige Ausnehmung (24) mit einem Hinterschnitt (25) zur Festlegung eines entsprechenden Außenrandes (26) einer Dichteinrichtung (6) vorgesehen ist.
  7. Kosmetik-Einheit nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Innenwand (21) des Behälters (2) sich zur Behälteröffnung (27) hin konisch erweitert und der dort eingreifende Abschnitt (28) der Verschlusskappe (3) sich entsprechend konisch verjüngt.
