Definitions

  • the present invention relates to fine-cut partial packaging for Home-made cigarettes using a cigarette paper tube and one Darning device with piston or a loose, hands-free rod-shaped pistons.
  • a tobacco cartridge is known from EP 0 123 150 A1, which consists of a a fine-cut tobacco insert surrounding and open at both ends tubular covering made of non-smokable and smooth on the inside Foil material is made, the inner diameter of which is slightly larger than that Outer diameter of the piston and its outer diameter smaller than that The inside diameter of the cigarette paper sleeve is, and its length is somewhat larger than which is the cigarette paper sleeve intended for filling, the The topping density of the tobacco insert is lower than that for the desired stuffing Cigarette is, and that from the fine-cut tobacco insert and the wrapper existing product with a coaxial adhesive seam on a conventional Cigarette rod machine can be manufactured.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of being economical producible and optically appealing fine cut partial packaging to propose, on the one hand, an uncomplicated and smooth transfer the tobacco rod from this packaging into the cigarette paper tube, and on the other hand on the outer surface is such that it is despite not easier to insert into the cigarette paper tube from this can slip out and on the other hand can be printed with wam notices to the Point out to consumers that the bulk packaging itself is not is wearable
  • Fine-cut partial quantity packaging is therefore used to solve this task proposed analogously to the type mentioned ultimately, which is characterized in that that the wrapping surrounding the tobacco insert is at least 0.5 cm longer than the cigarette paper sleeve intended for filling and from one there is printable paper-laminated aluminum foil on the outside, whose on the Inner surface of the aluminum foil measured according to DIN 53 375 coefficient of static friction less than 0.6 and its sliding friction number is in the range from 0.15 to 0.5, and that the topping density of the tobacco insert is at least 4 to 20% below that for the stuffed cigarette provided value.
  • the partial packaging for fine cuts according to the invention does not allow only when the tobacco is inserted into the cigarette paper tube, i.e. when Compress, a uniform packing density over the entire length and thus a uniform per-train offer because (a) the one surrounding the tobacco insert Wrapping at least 0.5 cm longer than the one intended for filling Cigarette paper tube and (b) the packing density of the tobacco insert is at least 4 up to 20% below the desired value for the stuffed cigarette, but it also surprisingly leads to the fact that the Partial packaging can dimension in its outer diameter so that it can be easily inserted into the cigarette paper tube, but because of the paper-clad outer surface does not accidentally come out of the cigarette paper tube slips out, but on the other hand because of its smooth aluminum foil existing inner surface a sufficiently low sliding or static friction for smooth pushing out of the tobacco rod and easier handling of the respective tamping devices. Finally, they allow Material properties of the paper-coated outer surface of the wrapper are not just an advantageous optical and haptic design of this, but let also a print,
  • the wrapper preferably consists of a paper-clad Aluminum foil, the inside of which is in strip-shaped sections or is fully coated with a sliding varnish and which has a sliding friction coefficient according to DIN 53 375 in the range from 0.15 to 0.3.
  • a full area Sliding varnish coating is usually easier in film production, albeit a strip-shaped coating, for example in the longitudinal direction material saving and the easy pushing out of the tobacco filling hardly affected.
  • the paper-laminated film has a wall thickness of 0.5 to 0.005 mm, which expediently consists of a 6 to 20 ⁇ m thick aluminum film, the paper lamination of which is 10 to 40 g / m 2 .
  • the inner surface of the aluminum foil with a Sliding varnish is coated, which at temperatures of 50 to 200 ° C with the paper-coated outer surface of the film is sealable.
  • the Inner surface of the aluminum foil at least in the area of the coaxial adhesive seam be coated with a varnish that can be sealed at 50 to 200 ° C.
  • the partial packaging can be used in the longitudinal seam Sealing of the inner edge strip of the Wrapping on the corresponding outer area of the paper-laminated film much faster and more economical on conventional cigarette rod machines be manufactured, since it is no longer necessary in the manufacture, a to provide separate adhesive seam using adhesive.
  • the wrapping surrounding the tobacco insert one each at a short distance from the two end regions thereof preferably has circular perforations. hereby will be in addition to the possibly on the paper-coated outer surface
  • the instructions printed on the wrapping make it clear that the partial packaging is not smokable.
  • the mentioned short distance to the End ranges is about 5 mm and is therefore in a range that in the shorter cigarette paper sleeve inserted with longer portion packaging its perforation still protrudes from the cigarette paper tube.
  • perforation should also be visible and has it preferably a hole size of 0.2 to 0.4 mm.
  • the appropriately ring-shaped Perforation is provided at both end areas of the partial packaging, since it is unpredictable with which end of the consumer the Place the partial packaging in the cigarette paper tube.
  • the first step is the partial packaging - that is at both ends open cladding tube made of non-smokable paper-clad Aluminum foil with the fine-cut insert - either with a stuffing device or by hand - inserted into the cigarette paper tube.
  • the cigarette paper sleeve protrudes at least about 0.5 cm long end of the Packing out of the sleeve and can be easily between two fingers or held by a flexible cuff of a tamping device. This Intermediate product with the end protruding about 0.5 cm or more Bulk packaging is not considered by even the most clumsy smoker Smokable cigarette.
  • the consumer ie the consumer "Self-tamper" - (a) either with an additional device, namely one Tamping device with pistons, the fine-cut subset less Compression from the tubular packaging into the cigarette paper tube push it in, or (b) the consumer holds it out of the cigarette paper tube protruding or protruding outer end of the packaging with your fingers, preferably index finger and thumb, firm, then with a loose, freehand Manageable rod-shaped pistons or with a pin, the fine-cut subset with little compression from the tubular packaging into the Pressing the cigarette paper sleeve into it, creating the self-stuffed cigarette is obtained and the disposable packaging, namely the tubular Packaging envelope, can be discarded.
  • an additional device namely one Tamping device with pistons
  • the stuffing density of the fine cut is somewhat longer in the invention trained fine-cut partial packaging should basically do something are lower than in the somewhat shorter and later stuffed one Cigarette paper sleeve is desired. This gives you an end product self-made cigarette with the desired and usual plug density.
  • standard cigarette paper tubes have a diameter of 8.0 mm and a length of 69 mm and are usually additionally with one Filter mouthpiece equipped.
  • the suitable fine-cut partial packaging can be varied in length and lie for example in a range of 75 to 84 mm in length, according to complete insertion of the tubular packaging into the standard sleeve protrude from this by about 5 to 15 mm and thus easily with two fingers the free end can be held.
  • the length of the protruding from the cigarette paper tube protruding end of the tubular Packaging about 10 mm.
  • the diameter of the tubular packaging can also be varied, with the maximum being in the range of about 7.9 mm lies and just allows the packaging to be inserted.
  • the minimum value of the Diameter of the tubular packaging is made by practical Considerations and also limited by the structure of the packaged fine cut. If the diameter is too small, the pushing out will be too long or more compressed fine-cut filling more difficult.
  • the following table I shows the lengths and diameters of various partial packaging (VP) with the same tobacco charge weight of 647 mg and their respective values of the packing density in mg / cm 3 compared to the stuffed cigarette paper tube (end product) and the percentage reduction in packing density of the packaging the end product: packaging diameter in mm length in mm tap density in mg / cm 3 Reducing the Stuffing density in% VP-1a 7.9 84 157 19.9 VP-1b 7.9 75 176 9.3 VP-2a 7.8 84 161 17.1 VP-2b 7.8 75 180 7.2 VP-3a 7.7 84 165 15.0 VP-3b 7.7 75 185 4.6 end product 7.9 69 194 0.0
  • Fine-cut partial packaging is at least 4 to 20% lower than for the desired end product, namely the stuffed cigarette paper tube, lie.
  • the preferred stuffing density is in a range below 4 to 10% and with a total length of 84 mm from 15 to 20% below the desired packing density of the end product.
  • Fine-cut-tobacco portion packs the above dimensions can be used with tobacco about 600 to 850 mg can be produced.
  • a continuous fine-cut strand was wrapped with a paper-clad aluminum foil in a thickness of 20 ⁇ m and a paper lamination of about 30 g / m 2 .
  • the entire surface of the film was coated with a lubricating varnish based on nitrocellulose and had a coefficient of static friction of 0.46 measured according to DIN 53 375.
  • the stuffing density of the fine-cut insert was 176 mg / cm 3 , using 60% by weight of expanded tobacco.
  • Example 2 Fine-cut partial packaging was produced in a length of 75 and 84 mm and with a diameter of 7.9 mm Paper lamination of approximately 35 g / m 2 was used. There was no need for separate gluing because the sealability of the lubricating varnish made it possible to seal the seam evenly using a heat sealer. The results corresponded to those of Example 2.
