Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for suctioning a of a running web, in particular one Textile web separated edge strip, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- DE 198 60 425 C1 describes a device for separating of cover and filler materials during assembly known from quilts.
- This device exhibits an intake pipe for an edge strip in which a arranged as a light barrier sensor line is. This sensor line indicates whether an edge strip in the pipe was pulled in.
- DE 82 07 236 U1 is a device for vacuuming the edge strips cut from material webs, especially by slitting and creasing machines trimmed edge strips of a corrugated cardboard web known.
- This device has a pivotable Intake pipe, which has a square cross section has.
- the invention has for its object a device of the type mentioned at the beginning with which Incidents are reliably recognizable.
- the device according to claim 1 is used to suction a of a running web, in particular a textile web separated edge strip.
- a detachment of the edge strip for example, may be required if this is damaged by a needle chain or by a upstream process was frayed.
- a knife is used, which in particular as a rotating Circular knife is formed.
- the cutting effect is the axis of rotation of this circular knife parallel to the web plane and perpendicular to the web running direction aligned. So that the separated edge strip the transport and further processing of the web not disturbing, this is done by means of a suction nozzle drawn into an intake pipe. This intake pipe is - seen in the direction of web travel - the intersection of the knife downstream.
- the intake pipe opens into an air-permeable tube Waste bin that is from the web detached edge strips for disposal.
- the Edge strips of the web cannot at certain points complete separation by the knife from the Intake pipe are pulled out. Because this pulled out Edge strips can damage the system, it is important to be able to recognize this accident.
- This mechanically probing sensor is used by at least one Held in a position in which he over the free end of the intake pipe protrudes.
- the mechanically groping Sensor is also adjustable, being correct edge strip tapering from this to the suction pipe is not touched. If the device is working properly the mechanically probing sensor remains in its protruding beyond the free end of the intake pipe Location. In contrast, the edge strip of the web by the mechanically probing sensor by a predetermined Deflected minimum angle, this exercises on the mechanical probing feelers a corresponding force that this adjusted against the force of the spring. Such Deflection of the edge strip of the web on mechanically groping feelers come especially in those Cases where the margin is not complete was separated from the rest of the web or in which the edge strip has caught on the pin chain. Around register the adjustment of the mechanically probing sensor to be able to do so, it stands with a corresponding Sensor in active connection. This sensor generates a signal which is the pulling out of the edge strip from the Intake pipe displays. This signal can be in many different ways Way to increase the operational safety of the Device are used.
- the mechanically probing sensor in one approximately parallel to the plane of the web and approximately perpendicular pivot axis aligned to the web running direction.
- the pivot axis is preferably located in an area of the intake pipe facing away from the web. This results in that facing the web Area of the mechanically probing sensor one maximum responsiveness, so this overall works very sensitively.
- the mechanically probing sensors slidably held on the suction pipe is.
- the mechanical a separate sliding guide is created by probing sensors be, but this has the advantage that the mechanical probing sensors regardless of the direction in which the Edge strip is drawn over this, a constant responsiveness having. In particular, the responsiveness of the mechanically probing sensor regardless of its installation position.
- the severed edge strip is in the direction of web travel pulled along the web edge.
- the mechanically probing sensor the Edge strips regardless of their position transverse to the direction of web travel detected, it is favorable according to claim 5, if the mechanically probing sensor at least that of the web overlaps the facing side of the intake pipe. On the other sides of the intake pipe can also do this to be gripped by the mechanically probing sensor in order to improve surveillance, but this is not essential necessary.
- Preferred embodiments of the sensor result from claim 8.
- the sensor in Realize form of an electrical switch, especially the sensor only provides a pure yes-no decision got to. So it is not necessary to adjust or Adjustment angle of the mechanically probing sensor as a proportional value to detect, so that an electrical switch is sufficient as a sensor. So that can the device is particularly simple and robust at the same time build up so that it is less prone to failure overall.
- the sensor could also be an inductive or capacitive one Proximity sensor to be formed characterized by the absence of any moving parts. This is particularly advantageous in areas where the air is heavily polluted by dust or flakes of the web is. A proximity sensor is compared to such Dirt relatively insensitive.
- the senor is in operative connection with a warning device.
- the warning device is a emits an acoustic and / or optical signal. This warning device warns the operator so that this can take appropriate countermeasures. For example could pull out of the intake pipe Part of the edge strip of the web simply cut off be, so that this again by the suction flow in the suction pipe is sucked in.
- the sensor contains the feather.
- an electrical Switch used as a sensor is a corresponding one Spring already built into this so this also advantageously used to pretension the sensor can be.
- the suction pipe into a pressurizable nozzle empties.
- This nozzle easily produces the required one Suction flow, which is used for sucking in the separated Edge strip ensures.
- the nozzle is as Venturi nozzle designed to be as efficient as possible Achieve suction. Is the free end of the Intake pipe sufficiently close to the knife, that's enough In this way, suction flow generated from the knife automatically suck in the separated edge strips of the web.
- the edge strip is threaded into the intake pipe is generally not required.
- FIG. 1 shows a device 1 for extracting a Edge strip 2, which is separated from a running web 3 has been.
- the web 3 is not shown Rolls transported in the web running direction 4. In a previous processing step of the web 3 this was on both edge strips 2 on a needle chain needled to make them transverse to the direction of web travel 4 to tension. These pin chains are in the edge strips 2 of the web 3 holes 5 were created, so that the edge strips 2 of the web 3 are no longer used can be. It is therefore necessary to make these border strips 2 separate from the rest of the web 3.
- a circular knife 6 is provided, which by a Motor, not shown, driven in the direction of rotation 7 is.
- This circular knife 6 dips with a cutting edge 8 in the web 3 and in this way separates the Edge strips 2 from the remaining web 3.
- a wave 6a of the circular knife 6 is perpendicular to the web running direction 4 and aligned parallel to the plane of the web 3.
- Another circular knife is provided on the underside of the web, which is aligned with the circular knife 6 overlapping is to ensure a high level of cut security.
- the suction pipe 10 is aligned with the direction of web travel 4.
- the intake pipe 10 could also be aligned perpendicular to the web running direction 4.
- the free end 14 of the intake pipe 10 near the intersection 37 of the circular knife 6, so that also when pulling in a new web 3 the beginning of Edge strip 2 easily drawn into the intake pipe 10 becomes.
- a mechanically groping is on the intake pipe 10
- Sensor 15 provided that a pivot bearing 16 is held pivotably about a pivot axis 17.
- the pivot axis 17 is parallel to the plane of the web 3 and aligned perpendicular to the web running direction 4 and it is in one of the web 3 area 18 facing away from the intake pipe 10.
- This ensures that the sensor 15 in one area 19 near the web 3 a relatively large adjustment movement experiences. This is important because in this area 19 of the sensor 15 is not properly to the intake pipe 10 tapering edge strips 2 attacks. For this Reason overlaps the sensor 15 in the intake pipe 10 the area 19 assigned to the web 3 completely. Moreover is the sensor 15 in this area 19 by one Distance 21 over the free end 14 of the intake pipe 10 about.
- a sensor 25 is held on the tube 22.
- This Sensor 25 is used to achieve optimal responsiveness usually on the underside of the intake pipe 22 may be provided. In Figure 1 it is only for the purpose a better visibility shown laterally on the tube 22.
- the sensor 25 has a swivel arm 26 which is loaded by a spring 27 against the sensor 15. This Spring 27 thus presses the sensor 15 into that in FIG. 1 shown location.
- the sensor 25 has an electrical one Switch contact 28 on the adjustment movement of the sensor 15 converted into an electrical signal.
- the electrical output from the electrical switch contact 28 Signal is via a signal path 29, an acoustic 30 and an optical warning device 31 supplied.
- the operating personnel are informed about these warning devices 30, 31 informed about an accident.
- a motor 32 is connected to the signal path 29, the is connected to rollers, not shown, which the Transport web 3.
- Deviating from the embodiment of Figure 1 could the sensor 25 also only with the acoustic warning device and / or the optical warning device 31 be connected so that the device 1 the transport the web 3 in no way affected. In this case, the operating personnel must report the accident in good time remedy to prevent damage to the system. It is also conceivable to use the sensor 25 only with the drive motor 32 to connect so that the operating personnel due to the suddenly braked or stopped web 3 attention is drawn to the accident.
- the same device 1 is provided in mirror image. This is used to separate and suck in the opposite one Edge strip 2 from the web 3.
- FIG. 2 shows the representation according to FIG. 1 when it occurs an accident, the same reference numerals being the same Name parts.
- the edge strip 2 In an area 33 of the web 3 was the edge strip 2 is not completely off the web 3 separated so that the edge strip 2 with the current web 3 is taken. The edge strip 2 is therefore pulled out of the intake pipe 10 in the direction 34 and can, for example, on an underlying one Catch the needle chain and damage it or its deflection.
- the pivot arm 26 of the sensor 25 adjusted and thus the electrical Contact 28 closed. This causes via the signal path 29 an activation of the acoustic 30 and optical Warning device 31 and stopping the drive motor 32. It is also contemplated that the drive motor 32 at only to brake the active signal on signal path 29, so that the web 3 at a reduced speed continues. The operator can be in any Correct the incident that has occurred before causing damage the system arise.
