Definitions
- the invention relates to a lock for a window or a door.
- a thing Lock is used to secure the window or door against one violent opening or other unauthorized opening.
- a locking bolt can be brought into a locking position, in which he in an assigned striker or a lock box on the Window or door engages.
- Such a castle can do one Successfully warding off burglary. Nevertheless, such a Attempted break-in with considerable damage to the window or door ends whose repair requires an undesirable effort.
- a window / door lock which additionally to a locking bolt that secures the window or door from an unlocking position can be converted into a locking position, has at least one attack detector and a state signal transmitter, the attack detector attempting to break into the window or can detect the door in a non-destructive manner, and wherein the state signal transmitter when a break-in attempt is detected Attack detection signal can transmit to an intrusion detection system.
- the lock according to the invention therefore not only fulfills a security function, but also an alarm function. Therefor can it via the state signal transmitter to a - known per se - central Intrusion alarm system can be coupled with other decentralized Alarm devices is connected.
- the intruder alarm system can a local one in response to an attack detection signal from the lock emit an acoustic or visual alarm signal and a message from the For example, forward the attempted break-in to a security service.
- the coupling of security function and alarm function at the The lock according to the invention therefore has the advantage that the lock has one Detect intrusion attempts at an early stage and send them to the intrusion detection system can report further. This allows the intrusion detection system a local alarm signal immediately after the attempt to break in, for example generate a siren sound. If that caused it Deterrent the burglar from releasing the attempted break-in are caused, those caused on the window or the door Damage kept to a minimum.
- Another advantage of the invention is the low installation effort: By the attack detector and the state signals of the components of the lock is for their attachment to the window or the Door no additional or at least no significant assembly effort required if there is a lock on the window or door anyway is assembled.
- the attack detector of the lock it is from Meaning that it is able to detect an attempted break-in, without destroying the attack detector for this purpose must be done.
- a detection of an attempted break-in is provided before the Lock or on the window or door special destruction occurred are, and in particular regardless of where attempt to break into the window or door.
- Such Detection mode has the advantage that the lock and the attack detector immediately after the defense and the reporting of an attempted break-in are operational again without, for example, a detector element must be replaced with a destroyed predetermined breaking point.
- an integrated siren - offers the advantage that the attack detection signal to a central intrusion detection system is transmitted, the output of a local alarm tone induce and for this purpose at a not easily accessible place within the building in question can.
- the intrusion detection systems controlled alarm sirens installed at different locations in the building be to quickly destroy the alarm sirens by the Prevent or aggravate burglars.
- there is one Attack detector with integrated siren the danger that this - immediately after their sound - from the burglar through violent mechanical Action is destroyed, making the alarm sound undesirable early silent.
- the principle of detection of the lock according to the invention is preferably based on the detection of mechanical vibrations of the window or the door that is triggered due to an attempted break-in.
- This Detection principle is particularly suitable for a non-destructive Detection because such vibrations in the event of a break-in attempt triggered and transmitted by structure-borne noise, even before any Damage to the window or door has been caused.
- vibrations can be detected with a high degree of certainty be analyzed for their cause, in particular in that whether they result from an attempted break-in.
- they are vibrations caused by an attempted break-in low frequency, and they repeat at tight time intervals.
- the impact of a ball or a bird a window typically a one-time event, and one Event has a clearly distinguishable frequency characteristic. This means that false alarm messages can be generated based on this detection principle can be avoided particularly reliably.
- the output signals of the attack detector by means of an evaluation and control device - according to your Frequency characteristic, its amplitude characteristic, the time behavior the pulse packets (for example a repetition rate of a certain one Frequency characteristic within a given time window), or to evaluate a combination of these criteria.
- the lock according to the invention is preferably an additional window / door lock trained, i.e. as a lock, in addition to a existing lock an additional security of the window or the Door allows, for example due to an additional locking bolt.
- a lock in addition to a existing lock an additional security of the window or the Door allows, for example due to an additional locking bolt.
- a non-destructive detection of an intrusion attempt is particularly important thereby possible that slight occurrences at the window or the door Changes in length are recorded when attempting to break in inevitably caused.
- the attack detector be integrated in the window / door lock.
- the attack detector preferably has a strain gauge in Form of a piezoelectric film on the surface with the window or Door lock or a housing thereof is connected. By measurement the electrical voltage occurring at this piezoelectric sensor changes in length can be detected by structure-borne noise transferred to the lock mounted on the window or door.
- a piezoelectric sensor has the advantage that the Monitoring of voltage changes only a small electrical Performance requires and the energy consumption of the attack detector is therefore low, which enables off-grid operation.
- the attack detector can be a magnetoresistive sensor have, which is used in connection with a permanent magnet and, for example, by a GMR sensor (giant magnetic resistance) is formed. It is also possible to use one as an attack detector Use acceleration sensor, especially an electromechanical or micro-electromechanical accelerometer. Moreover can be provided an optoelectronic sensor, the changes in length or vibrations, for example due to interference effects, using speckle patterns based on the principle of an optical Mouse, or due to a change in amplitude due to light scattering detected in a glass fiber. Alternatively, the attack detector can also be used for Detection of microphonic effects or - as a dielectric sensor - for Detection of charge shifts due to capacitor effects be trained.
- the lock is equipped with a Lock position detector equipped, the a closed state of the Window or the door can detect.
- a Lock position detector equipped, the a closed state of the Window or the door can detect.
- a corresponding closed position signal can be generated by means of the status signal transmitter to the central intrusion detection system.
- the lock can - alternatively or additionally the closed position detector - have a bolt position detector, through which it can be determined whether the locking bolt of the lock is in the Unlocked position or in the locked position.
- a corresponding locking position signal by means of the status signal transmitter can be forwarded to the intrusion detection system a central control due to such a locking position detector the correct locking condition of the outer skin of the person concerned Building.
- the said closed position detector and the locking position detector are preferably for essentially currentless monitoring educated.
- a Electromechanical contact switches are formed in which by change the closed position of the window or door or by change the locking position of the locking bolt an opening or closing a electrical circuit is caused and detected.
- the closed position detector or the bolt position detector be formed by a magnetomechanical contact switch, for example by interacting with a permanent magnet Reed contact.
- use comes for example a magnetoresistive sensor, an inductive proximity sensor or an optoelectronic sensor, in particular a light barrier in Consideration.
- the closed position detector and the latch position detector are preferred coupled to the state signal transmitter such that a Closed position signal or a bolt position signal only to the Burglar alarm system is transmitted when there is a change in the The window or door has closed position, or if one Change in the closed position of the locking bolt has occurred.
- a corresponding signal can be transmitted in predetermined Time intervals can be provided. In both cases, however no query of a current closed position signal or bolt position signal through the intrusion detection system, but the intrusion detection system saves the last received signal in an event memory, to access it at any later time can.
- This type of signal transmission to the intrusion detection system has the advantage that the lock is not equipped with a receiver that receives a signal request from the intrusion detection system. Such a receiver would have - especially with wireless Connection to the intrusion detection system - an undesirable high energy consumption.
- a Evaluation and control device provided at predetermined time intervals the transmission of a function confirmation signal to the Burglar alarm system initiated by the status signal transmitter.
- a supervision function is thereby realized: by checking whether such a function confirmation signal from the lock at the expected times the intrusion detection system can be transmitted monitor whether the lock is still working properly, or whether, for example, the energy supply is disrupted.
- the Evaluation and control device before the transmission of the function confirmation signal perform an internal function check, for example to check the attack detector for functionality.
- This type of function monitoring also has the advantage that The lock does not have to be specially equipped with a receiver that to receive an interrogation signal from the intrusion detection system and to must be permanently supplied with energy for this purpose.
- the lock has a sabotage contact has an attempt at an unauthorized dismantling of the castle or a part thereof is able to detect, in particular by means of the status signal transmitter - a corresponding dismantling signal to be sent to the intruder alarm system.
- a sabotage contact can, for example, by an electromechanical contact switch be educated.
- the status signal transmitter for a wireless Transmission of signals to the intrusion detection system and has a radio transmitter for this purpose.
- Alternatively can also be a wired connection to the intrusion detection system be provided.
- the lock is an autonomous energy source, for example, has an electric battery, so no connection to an external energy source, especially the public one Power grid is required.
- Fig. 1 shows a lock according to the invention in the form of an additional window lock in a typical arrangement on a window sash 11.
- This additional lock has a housing 13, on the top of which Lock cylinder 15 can be seen.

- the mentioned alarm function is performed by the one shown in the figures Additional lock exercised in that the attack detector 27 Window permanently monitored for a possible break-in attempt.
- a break-in attempt causes on the window sash 11 namely shocks and thus vibrations - and still before permanent damage to the window is caused. These vibrations go through at the location of the additional lock slight changes in length noticeable.
- Such changes in length are detected by the attack detector 27 in electrical voltages converted due to their particular Frequency and amplitude characteristics from the evaluation and control device 29 filtered out and assigned a break-in attempt can be.
- the evaluation and control device 29 In the event of such detection of an attempted break-in causes the evaluation and control device 29 to send the status signal transmitter 31 immediately for radio transmission of an attack detection signal to the burglar alarm system, so that this one, for example acoustic alarm signal and notification of a security service can trigger.
- the closed position detector 33 for example in regular intervals, checked whether the window sash 11 properly abuts the window 21. In case of a change compared to the The last detected closing state of the window is by means of the state signal transmitter 31 a corresponding closed position signal to the Burglar alarm system transmitted. This registers the change made in an event log.
- the latch position detector 39 functions in a corresponding manner: If the locking bolt 25 between the unlocked position and the locked position is actuated, this leads to the contact switch 41 a closing or opening of an electrical circuit, so that the Change of the bolt position from the evaluation and control device 29 is registered and this is corresponding via the status signal transmitter 31 Bolt position signal to the intruder alarm system or its Event log submitted.
- the distribution of the components of the additional lock on the housing 13 on the one hand and the supplementary housing 17 on the other in any Way can take place, in particular taking into account the one Additional lock standard housing available space.
- the division also takes place in such a way that no physical connection between the housing 13 and the supplementary housing 17 required but the signals of the detectors arranged in the housing 13 in a wireless manner to the supplementary housing 17 or the contained therein Components are transmitted.
