Definitions
- the invention relates to a cooled grate bar for a grate firing with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
- the combustion air which is blown as so-called primary air through the combustion grate in the resting fuel bed thereon.
- the cooling effect by the primary air flow is determined by the gap size between the grate bars or by defined outlet openings and the flow resistance of the primary air through the fuel bed at this point. If the primary air flow z. B. laid by liquid slags that obstruct the gap or clog the outlet openings, the affected grate bar is practically not cooled.
- the grate bar on the bottom can be provided with cooling fins, which are blown by the primary air.
- a grate bar with a hollow box-like cross-section known. Between the top and the bottom of this grate bar two chambers are formed by a central rib, which are acted upon from the rear side with air. The air exits after passing through the chambers through a slot nozzle at the front of the grate bar in the combustion chamber. Even with this type of cooling there is a risk of blockage of the slot nozzle, so that the air does not escape from the grate bar and therefore can not cool it.
- a cooled grate bar known, at the bottom in a manner not described in detail a meandering meandering, traversed by air Coiled pipe is attached. After flowing through the coil, the air exits the grate bar on its underside by laterally arranged outlet openings. Inadequate attachment of the coil, the heat transfer from the grate bar in the cooling air through the coil is significantly affected.
- the meandered pipe coil basically leads to an asymmetric temperature distribution in the grate bar. The result is a distortion of the grate bar with an undesirable gap formation between adjacent grate bars.
- the air emerging from the lateral outlet openings flows on only one side of the grate bar behind it, which in turn leads to an asymmetric temperature distribution in the affected grate bar.
- the fact that only one channel is flowed through, the possible amount of cooling air is very limited and thus the cooling effect only low.
- the invention has for its object to make the generic grate bar such that it is safely and evenly cooled with air.
- the symmetrical with respect to the longitudinal axis of the grate bar extending cooling gap and extending over the entire grate bar width exit gap ensure uniform cooling of the grate bar.
- the outlet slit laid on the underside of the grate bar can not be clogged by the fuel bed resting on the combustion grate, so that cooling air always flows through the grate bar.
- the trained as a combustion traction, obliquely downwardly directed combustion grate of a grate firing consists of several rows of bar side by side grate bars 1.
- the grate firing is used for combustion of fuel or preferably garbage, which is applied as a fuel layer on the combustion grate.
- the grate bars 1 of a row of bars are mounted on a grate bar 2.
- At each grate bar carrier 2 engages a drive, not shown, through which the row of bars in question is reciprocated.
- the grate bars 1 of the individual rows of bars are roof tiles superimposed.
- a funnel 3 Through which the rust diarrhea is discharged.
- a main air line 4 via which the primary air fraction is supplied to the combustion air for combustion of the fuel.
- the primary air enters through the gaps between the individual grate bars 1 in the resting on the combustion grate fuel layer.
- the arrows indicate the direction of flow of the primary air.
- the grate bar 1 which preferably consists of a cast part, has a U-shaped profile with a back 5 and two side flanks 6.
- the grate bar 1 is provided with a closed head 7 and with an end piece 8.
- the headpiece 7 the grate bars 1 of a row of bars slidably rests on the back 5 of the grate bars 1 of the respective subsequent row of bars.
- the end piece 8 is mounted on the grate bar carrier 2.
- the grate bar 1 is provided with a cooling gap 9 on its underside, that is to say on the side facing away from the fuel layer and facing the funnel 3.
- the cooling gap 9 extends between the side edges 6 over the entire width of the grate bar 1 and ends in an outlet gap 10, which corresponds to the width of the cooling gap 9.
- the height of the cooling gap 9 is smaller by a multiple than the height of the grate bar. 1
- the cooling gap 9 is limited by the side edges 6 and a cover plate 11 which is fixed in a height of the cooling gap 9 corresponding distance from the back 5 on the grate bar 1.
- the underside of the back 5 of the grate bar 1 is provided with a surface structure having the shape of grooves 12.
- the grooves 12 extend in the longitudinal direction of the grate bar 1 from the end piece 8 to the head piece 7. The exact course of the grooves 12 can be varied and is thermally optimized.
- the cover plate 11 rests on the ridges of the grooves 12.
- the cooling gap 9 is traversed by cooling air, which is branched off as a partial flow of the combustion grate fed primary air.
- an air line 13 is branched off from the main air line 4.
- a throttle valve 14 is arranged in the air line 13.
- the air line 13 is guided to a distribution line 15.
- the distribution line 15 is connected to the grate bar supports 2, which are hollow for guiding the cooling air and closed at the ends.
- flexible pipe sections 17 are guided to the individual grate bars 1.
- the Cover plate 11 is provided with a feed opening 18, in each of which one of the pipe sections 17 opens.
- the grate bar 1 are the feed opening 18 in the vicinity of the end piece 8 and the exit slit 10 in the vicinity of the head piece 7.
- the cover plate 11 follows to continue the cooling gap 9 the shape of the head piece 7, wherein between the lower edge of the cover plate 11 and a shoulder the head piece 7 is formed a horizontal portion which forms the exit slit 10.
- the grate bar 1 supplied cooling air flows through the cooling gap 9 in the longitudinal direction of the grate bar 1 over the entire grate bar width up to the head piece 7 and emerges horizontally and symmetrically from the exit slit 10.
- the heated cooling air mixes with the primary air from the hopper 3, wherein the back 5 of the underlying grate bar 1 is cooled. Subsequently, the mixed with the cooling air primary air flows through the gaps between the grate bars 1 in the above the combustion grate combustion chamber, the side edges 6 of the grate bars 1 are cooled.
- the grate bar 1 shown are the feed opening 18 in the vicinity of the head piece 7 and the exit slit 10 in the vicinity of the end piece 8.
- the cover plate 11 terminates at a distance from the end piece 8, thus forming the exit slit 10, which in this case vertically downwards is directed.
- the grate bar 1 supplied cooling air flows through the cooling gap 9 in the longitudinal direction of the grate bar 1 over the entire grate width starting from the head piece 7 as the hottest portion of the grate bar 1 and occurs in the vicinity of the end piece 8 symmetrically and vertically down from the exit slit 10.
- This variant is thermally cheaper than the in Fig.
- the cold cooling air directly into the hot zone of the grate bar 1, and because of the high temperature difference at this point, improved cooling can be achieved.
- the heated cooling air mixes with the primary air from the hopper 3 to a uniform mixing temperature. Subsequently, the air mixture of heated cooling air and primary air flows through the gaps between the grate bars 1 in the above the combustion grate combustion chamber, wherein the side edges 6 of the grate bars 1 are cooled.
- the amount of the grate bars 1 supplied cooling air as a partial flow of the total primary air is adjusted via the throttle valve 14 in the air line 13. This makes it possible in a simple manner to adapt the grate bar cooling a changed calorific value of the waste to be incinerated. Likewise, the grate bar cooling can be easily adapted to the different grate zones, that is to say the progress of the thermal conversion on the grate. This plays a crucial role in today's requirements for waste incineration plants with respect to a broad calorific value band.

Description

Fig. 4 .
