- incandescent lamps such as incandescent, halogen or krypton lamps.
- incandescent lamps such as incandescent, halogen or krypton lamps.
- Another disadvantage is the short life of the glow, halogen or Krypton bulbs.
- the lifespan is typically between 5 and 500 hours.
- the invention is based on the object of a lamp, in particular can be used as a hand lamp or spotlight can introduce, which does not have the disadvantages mentioned.
- LEDs light emitting diodes
- LEDs have a lifespan of more than 100,000 hours, which means an uninterrupted light duration (24 hours a day) of over Corresponds to 11 years. With an average, real light duration five hours a day results in a lifespan of just under 55 years, so that a lamp replacement in the invention Luminaire does not occur in practice.
- the lamp of the invention is ideal for explosion-proof operations.

- the power supply during charging can be integrated into the housing Plug connector or inductive, the latter especially with explosion-proof versions of the luminaire is preferred.
- the invention provided for switching the lamp on and off Pushbuttons can also be designed by pressing the pushbutton a magnet is moved that has an internal reed contact activated and thus switches on the lamp.
- an optics module provided as Optical unit simultaneously represents the windscreen and the lenses and also forms the holder for the light-emitting diodes.
- the windscreen especially in its area in which the LEDs are arranged from a clear plastic, such as PMMA (Polymethyl methacrylate), manufactured using the injection molding process the lenses assigned to the light-emitting diodes are also produced can.
- PMMA Polymethyl methacrylate
- the invention Luminaire provided that the electronics in the form of an electronics module is trained.
- the electronics module is seen spatially arranged behind the optics module and is a printed circuit board which carries the LEDs and also the necessary electronic components, how to accommodate the micro controller with its peripheral elements.
- the aforementioned reed contact can also be found on the PCB of the Electronics module to be arranged.
- the former can have contacts that are cut out in the Grip the battery compartment of the housing and wall with the Battery contacts come into an electrically conductive connection.
- an indication of the state of charge can be provided his.
- This is for example on the top of the housing, on which the button is also provided for switching on and off, provided and consists of a series of LEDs, also on the Electronics module are arranged.
- the LEDs are through appropriate Openings in the housing are visible, with the openings preferred towards the outside are covered.
- a warning device an acoustic Outputs a signal when the battery's state of charge, i.e. the remaining light duration falls below a predetermined value.
- This warning device can also be the one that switches the button on and off is assigned to the lamp and shows whether it is working properly has been operated.
- the button can also be illuminated in order to to facilitate its operation in the dark.
- FIG. 1 shows an oblique view of a lamp seen from the front
- 2 seen the lamp from FIG. 1 in an oblique view from behind
- 3 is a view from the left of FIG. 1
- FIG. 4 is a plan view (from 1 of the lamp according to the invention)
- FIG. 5 shows an embodiment a light according to the invention in an exploded Representation
- Fig. 6 in an enlarged detail view the assignment of LEDs and cover.
- the lamp according to the invention has a housing 1 consisting of a lower housing part 2 and a housing cover 3.
- a handle 6 is accommodated in a recess 5 of the lower housing part 2, the folded out of the position shown in Fig. 2 can.
- the handle 6 is a bearing pin 7 protruding into the recess 5 snapped.
- a bracket 8 is pivotally mounted on the housing 1, the can take different rest positions and serves the lamp to be set up diagonally upwards or diagonally downwards.
- the bracket from its supply position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 in a diagonally from the housing 1 to the front or to the front protruding position can be pivoted.
- the housing cover 2 has a transparent area 16 (“optics module”), which is designed as a lens plate and on the inside Has receptacles 18 for the light emitting diodes 20 (cf. FIG. 6).
- the light-emitting diodes 20 are on a printed circuit board 22 arranged and form together with electrical / electronic Components an "electronics module" that is inside the housing 1 is included.
- an "electronics module” that is inside the housing 1 is included.
- Battery compartment 32 is provided in which a battery 14 is added is.
- the circuit board 22 has two contacts 24 which are connected to the battery contacts 26 come into conductive connection when the battery 14 and that Electronics module are arranged in the lower housing part 2.
- cutouts 34 are provided that towards the open side of the lower housing part 2 are open.
- the circuit board 22 also carries the four light emitting diodes 12 for the Display of the state of charge in holes 12 'in the upper end wall of the lower housing part 2 protrude. These holes 12 'for the light emitting diodes 12, which indicate the state of charge, are transparent on the outside Plate (not shown) covered.
- a recess 40 is also provided on the lower housing part 2 serves for receiving the button 10, the tactile point can be pressed into its "on” position, in which one with the Push button 10 connected magnet 42 to the reed contact 44 on the circuit board 22 is so approximate that it closes and the invention Luminaire goes into operation.
