Definitions

  • the invention further relates to a device for rotating and relaxing pressed into a block and inserted in a spring bag springs according to the preamble of the invention Patent claim 3.
  • Springs for the manufacture of mattresses, upholstered furniture, cushions and the like can be connected together in various ways to be coated in a connected state with covering materials and a coating material.
  • the present invention relates to springs which are inserted in rows into cotton or non-woven textile pockets, so-called spring-pocketed snakes, which spring-pocketed snakes later mutually interconnected, z. B. are welded or glued by ultrasound. After the springs have been manufactured on a spring coiling machine, they are pressed together in the axial direction to form a block, ie the spring turns lie completely against one another. In this compressed form, the insertion takes place in the spring pocket snake, which usually consists of a folded between its longitudinal edges Baumwollstoff- or nonwoven tape.
  • each spring is detected by a propeller-like wing whose horizontal axis is disposed above the compressed spring, a wing end and the upper end ring of the spring parallel to the pocket sections forming seams. This allows the spring to partially relax. As soon as the upper end turn has reached a certain distance with respect to the lower, fixed end turn, the spring rotates by itself and its axis now lies in the horizontal, ie parallel to the welds between the individual pocket sections.
  • a transversely movable to the spring pockets thrust fingers which also detects the compressed spring at the upper end ring and as far as laterally shifts until the spring by its own clamping force turns 90 °.
  • Another way to set up the springs is a rotating screw whose threads achieve the same effect.
  • Object of the present invention is to provide a method and a device for transferringStetaschten springs, the or ensures that all springs occupy the desired position in the pocket sections after passing through the device.
  • the method can be retrofitted into existing pocket spring machines and includes only a few maintenance-free parts that can be adapted to the springs to be processed with little effort.
  • the drive of the latter can be used directly for the drive of the push rod. It is a conversion with minimal effort possible.
  • FIG. 1 shows a spring pocket snake 1, in which on the right side in pocket sections six each compressed to a block springs 3 are. They assume this position after they have been inserted by a trained known insertion device in the direction of arrow P in the initially along the edge 5 open pocket portion a, b, c, d, e, f, gh, i. Between the individual springs 3, the spring pocket snake 1 is divided into a plurality of pocket sections by seams, for example, welded by ultrasound or seams 7 made by a sewing machine. After inserting the compressed Springs 3, the open side of the pocket sections is closed by a parallel to the snake 1 extending seam 9.
  • the three springs 3 shown on the left side have already been rotated by 90 ° by means of a spring-setting or spring-turning device.
  • the symmetry axes A of these springs 3 are now rotated by 90 ° to the original position.
  • the spring pocket snake 1 is advanced on a support and transport surface 11 by means not shown in the direction of the arrow S gradually.
  • the insertion of the compressed into a block springs 3 takes place, not visible in the figures, on the right side of the figure.
  • the now compressed within the pocket sections springs whose axes A are perpendicular to the transport surface pass through the feed steps in the region of a side of the edge 5 arranged push rod 13 whose lower leg 14 is in the starting position parallel to the edge 5 and over the length of several Pocket sections extends.
  • the push rod 13 is hinged at its end 21 about an axis B pivotally.
  • the other end 15 is fixed to a connecting rod 17, which connects to a linear drive 19, which allows a horizontal pivotal movement of the push rod 13 about the axis B.
  • An articulated connection 25 between the drive rod of the second linear drive 23 with the connecting rod 17 allows the necessary for the establishment of the springs 3 mobility.
  • the linear drive 19 at its end facing away from the push rod 13 27 pivotally connected to the machine frame (not shown).
  • the lower leg 14 of the rod 13 In the rest position (broken lines), the lower leg 14 of the rod 13 is parallel to the edge 5 of the spring pocket 1 and inclined at an acute angle to the plane of the transport surface 11.
  • Figure 1 already three springs in their final Position (horizontal axis A) in the pocket sections a, b, c. At these three springs 3 close the pocket sections di, in which the springs 3 are still pressed together as a block.
  • the push rod 13 or its lower leg 14 has been moved by the second linear drive 23 in the working position, in which the lower leg 14 is now parallel or substantially parallel to the transport surface 11 (see cross-sections according to Figures 9 and 10).
  • the leg 14 of the push rod 13 or attached to the leg 14 profile 29 or rotatably mounted on the rod 14 sleeve 31 are at a distance Y from the transport surface 11. The distance is such that the front edge 33 of the profile 29 and the front apex of the sleeve 31 is below the upper end ring 35 of the spring 3.
  • the first linear drive 19 now pivots the rod 13 about the axis B (arrow direction Z).
  • the spring 3 which is located in the pocket portion d, detected at or below its end ring 35 and moved transversely to the pocket coil 1. Now tilts the spring 3 within the pocket portion d and relaxes, so that their axis A at the end of the pivoting process is horizontal or parallel to the transport surface 11.
  • the adjacent spring 3 in the pocket portion e is also detected by the rod 13, but may not be completely overturned. If it has been only partially grasped, it may possibly return to the original compressed position when the bar 13 (FIG. 3) is raised. However, this does not matter, because the next advancement of the push rod 13, which is carried out after the pocket spring snake has been advanced by a pocket section width, the spring 3 is detected once more and as previously the spring 3 in the pocket section d set up.
  • the rod 13 can return to the starting position, it is, as already mentioned, raised by the second linear drive 23 at the end of the first working stroke and from the first linear drive 19 to the starting position returned (see Figure 4). Now the feed of the pocket spring snake can be done.
  • the pocket spring coil 1 is held at its edge 5 by a suitable, not shown, means to avoid displacement on the transport surface 13.
  • Spring mattresses can have different widths. This implies that a different number of pocket springs 3 or pocket spring sections are present in the pocket spring snakes 1. Also, the diameter of the springs 3 is different depending on the design of the spring core. At the end of such matched to the width of the spring core spring pocket snake 1 either a pocket portion is left empty or preferably a narrower blank section produced. In particular, by the generation of a narrower section (empty pocket) results in a positional shift between the push rod 13 and the position of the spring 3 with respect to the push rod 13. This shift can either be corrected by a corresponding correction of the feed or you can do without, because the invention Push rod 13 is able to set up springs 3, which are not always exactly the same place, also safe. From Figure 5 it is clear how such a shift v comes about and how it relates to the Distance between the two adjacent springs 3 affects.
  • Figs. 6 and 7 it is shown in what a simple way the erection device, i. the push rod 13 to the circumstances, i. the distance W between the individual springs 3 and spring pocket sections ( Figure 7) or the height H, is adjustable.
  • the adjustment of the insertion device when changing the distance w is done by simply moving along the arrows M; the adjustment of the device to the height H of the spring 3 is effected by the stroke of the first linear drive 19, which acts in a change of the pivot angle of the rod 13 about the axis B.
  • the front end E of the rod 13 or the roller 31 or the profile 29 is located between two springs 3. This makes it possible to ensure that the spring 3 does not catch on the edge E. In addition, the damage to the bag material is thus further reduced.
  • the linear actuator 19 is articulated about a horizontal axis C on the machine frame, not shown.
  • a spherical bearing or joint 25 is formed, which together with a pivotable about the axis q mounting plate 41, the deflection of the vertically extending guide member 18 of the rod 13 at Working stroke and balancing while lifting.
  • the lifting of the rod 13 is effected by the pneumatic cylinder (linear drive) 23, which is also articulated on the machine frame, not shown, and acts on the linear drive 19.
  • the first end 21 of the rod 13 is pivotably guided about the fixed axis B in a spherical bearing 43.
  • the drive device for the rod 13 shown in FIG. 11 corresponds to that which is used for the known folding or setting fingers known from the prior art and which can be used further as a drive for the rod 13.
  • both the linear drive 19 for the working stroke and the lifting drive 23 for lifting the bar 13 and the connection between the push bar 13 and the connecting bar 18 are connected to one another by spherical bearings. This allows a very simple and inexpensive to manufacture structural design.
  • the linear drive 19 is firmly connected to the machine frame (not shown).
  • the lifting drive 23 is connected to the front end of the drive rod 25 of the first drive 19.
  • the length compensation between the end of the push rod 13 and the fixed drive arrangement is effected by a slotted plate 47 which is attached to the end of the drive rod of the second linear actuator 23 is.
  • this could be adjustable in an inclined position, as shown in FIG. 6, perpendicular to the transport direction S via the pocket spring coil 1 and vertically adjustable (no illustration).
