- the invention relates to a measure, namely a device and a method a device for producing a spun thread from a fiber structure comprising a fiber guide channel with a fiber guide surface for guiding the Fibers of the fiber assembly in an inlet mouth of a yarn guide channel, further comprising a fluid device for generating a vortex flow around the Inlet mouth of the yarn guide channel and the measure according to the invention for influencing the flow conditions in the spindle channel of a stationary Spindle.
- a device in which the fibers for the integration of the fiber ends through the remaining part of the fibers are guided in a fiber guide and by means of which the Fibers can be captured by the generated air vortex in such a way that a uniform and strong yarn can be produced is described in US 5,528,895.
- To guide the fibers is a mandrel arranged centrally to the yarn guide channel provided around which the supplied fibers spiral in the direction of Thread guide channel run to be spun.
- the task is essentially solved in that the flow in the spindle channel is influenced by means such that the entry behavior of the fiber ends and the Spread the fiber ends in weak to suppressed countercurrent or in Mitströmung happens and these means flow-active connections between the Outflow channel and the spindle channel are. Details of the solution and advantageous embodiments are described in the description part with the figures.
- the invention is based on the knowledge that by influencing the Flow conditions (pressure and speed curve) in the spindle channel Effects on the incoming fibers and the yarn formation process in the area the inlet mouth are possible. By actively influencing this can be achieved that the negative-acting flow is eliminated.
- the following parameters are required to influence the conditions in the spindle channel of particular importance: the amount of fluid (air) introduced or extracted, Location and direction, where and how fluid is introduced or extracted as well Cross-sectional profile and shape of the spindle channel.
- the meaning of the parameters will based on the embodiments described in the figures.
- the basic concept of the invention disclosed herein is suitable for use with different eddy current air spinning devices, such as those from the US 5,528,895 are known. However, it is particularly suitable for spinning devices, as they are known from CH-1845/00, because they are particularly high quality yarns are achievable.
- the distance A corresponds to the type of fiber and the average fiber length corresponding test results in a range of 0.1 to 1.0 mm.
- the distance B depends on a diameter G of the inlet mouth 35 and lies, depending on Test results, within a range of 10 to 40% of the above Diameter G.
