Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Einrichtung zum Beizen von Edelstahlwarmbändem mit austenitischem , ferritischem und / oder martensitischem Gefüge, das ohne eine mechanische Strahl-Entzunderung in einer Beizlinie durch Beizstufen mit Säuren und Spülstufen mit Spülwasser geführt wird.
Beim Beizen eines Edelstahlwarmbandes (DE 195 05 324 C2) wird dieses durch eine Glüh- und Beizlinie geschickt. Vor dem Beizen findet eine Entzunderung statt, die sich in zwei Verfahrensabschnitte gliedert: Das Strahlen und das Beizen. Beim Strahlen wird die Bandoberfläche mechanisch entzundert, indem Partikel auf die Bandoberfläche geschleudert werden, welche den Zunder aufgrund ihrer kinetischen Energie entfernen. Es ist bekannt, in einigen Glüh- und Beizlinien noch zusätzlich einen Streckrichter einzusetzen, der zum einen die Bandqualität im Hinblick auf die Planheit verbessert und zum anderen durch Erzeugen von Rissen in den Zunderschichten den späteren chemischen Beizprozess erleichtern soll. Im Anschluss an die mechanischen Vorentzunderungsschritte wird nasschemisch gebeizt. Dieser Beizvorgang kann je nach Anlagenkonfiguration aus mehreren Schritten bestehen. Für reine Warmbandaniagen wird in der Regel in Schwefelsäure vorgebeizt, während die Restentzunderung in einer Mischsäure aus Salpetersäure und Flusssäure erfolgt.
Diese bekannten Verfahren sind schon nachteilig durch den Einsatz von Strahlverfahren, die die Bandoberfläche in der Rauhigkeit erhöhen und damit die BandQualität mindern. Außerdem sind die Betriebskosten durch den Einsatz der Mischsäuren, insbesondere durch die Flusssäure, sehr hoch.
Das eingangs bezeichnete Verfahren ist in der Form bekannt (EP 0 706 840 A2), die Herstellung von Edelstahlkaltband inline in unmittelbar aufeinanderfolgenden Arbeitsschritten Entzundern des Vorbandes, Reduzieren des Vorbandes auf Fertigdicke, Glühen und Beizen durchzuführen.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, beim Beizen ohne ein zusätzliches Strahlverfahren zum Entzundern auszukommen und vor allen Dingen die Kosten für das Beizen zu senken.
Die gestellte Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst dass das Edelstahlwarmband in den Vorbeizstufen mit Salzsäure gebeizt und in ersten Spülstufen mit Salpetersäure sowie einem gleichwertigen Ersatzbeizmedium gespült, das aus einem Gemisch von Schwefel- oder Salzsäure mit Wasserstoffperoxid und weiteren Zusätzen gebildet wird und in weiteren Spülstufen mit Spülwasser behandelt wird. Dadurch kommt das Verfahren ohne ein zusätzliches Strahlen aus und die Kosten für die Säuren werden gesenkt. Bei dem Beizen mit Salpetersäure oder einem gleichwertigen Ersatzbeizmedium können noch verbliebene Zunderreste auf dem Band entfernt werden. Der Einsatz von Strahlkabinen ist nicht erforderlich. Da das Glühen von Edelstahlwarmband jeweils nach der weiteren Verarbeitung nicht zwingend erforderlich ist, kann die kostspielige Produktion auf einer Glüh- und Beizlinie bei gegebenen Umständen umgangen werden. Das Vorbeizen in der Salzsäure reduziert die gelöste Metallmenge in der Salpetersäure drastisch. Damit ist eine Reduzierung der bekannten problematischen Reaktionsprodukte (NOx-Gase in der Abluft und Nitrate im Abwasser), die aus der Produktion bekannt sind, verbunden. Auch bei Einsatz eines entsprechenden Ersatzmediums für die Salpetersäure entfallen ebenfalls die bekannten Nachteile. Nach der Lehre der Erfindung werden außerdem gebeizte Edelstahlwarmbänder mit einer verbesserten Oberflächenqualität erzielt. Zudem gestalten sich die Betriebskosten wesentlich niedriger im Vergleich zu den bekannten Verfahren.
In Ausgestaltung ist vorgesehen, dass das Edelstahlwarmband in zumindest einer Beizstufe mit Salzsäure gebeizt wird. Der Vorteil ist die drastische Reduzierung der gelösten Metallmenge durch Vorbeizen.
Eine weitere Verbesserung besteht darin, dass das Edelstahlwarmband in zumindest einer oder mehreren Spdistufen mit der Salpetersäure sowie einem gleichwertigen Ersatzbeizmedium behandelt wird. Vorteilhafterweise kann dadurch ein vollständiges Entzundern erreicht werden.
Nach weiteren Maßnahmen ist vorgesehen, dass das Edelstahlwarmband anschließend in zwei oder mehr Spülstufen mit Spülwasser behandelt wird. Dadurch werden die verwendeten Säuren vollends beseitigt.
Die Einrichtung zum Beizen von Edelstahlwarmband mit austenitischem, ferritischem und / oder martensitischem Gefüge, das ggfs. hinter einem Weichglühofen durch eine Beizlinie führbar ist, löst die gestellte Aufgabe erfindungsgemäß dadurch, dass das Edelstahlwarmband bei Eintritt in eine Beizlinie, bestehend aus mehreren Beiztanks mit Salzsäure und mehreren Spültanks mit Salpetersäure sowie einem gleichwertigen Ersatzbeizmedium, das aus einem Gemisch von Schwefel- oder Salzsäure mit Wasserstoffperoxid und weiteren Zusätzen gebildet ist, und weiteren Spültanks mit Spülwasser behandelbar ist.
Die Vorteile sind die bereits zu den Verfahrensschritten erwähnten Verbesserungen gegenüber dem Stand der Technik.
Dabei kann die Anzahl der Beizstufen variiert werden. Eine vorzuziehende Gestaltung ergibt sich daraus, dass in der Beizlinie die ersten drei Beiztanks mit Salzsäure gefüllt sind.
Eine vorteilhafte Ausgestaltung wird dahingehend vorgeschlagen, dass die Spülstufen aus zumindest je einem Spültank mit Salpetersäure sowie einem gleichwertigen Ersatzbeizmedium und aus zumindest zwei Spültanks mit Spülwasser gebildet sind.
Ein Ausführungsbelspiel der Beizlinie ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt , anhand deren das Verfahren nachfolgend beschrieben wird.

Gemäß Fig. 1 gelangt das Edelstahlwarmband 1 von Bandbunden eines Eingangsabschnittes 2 durch eine Schweißvorrichtung 3 (für einen Bundwechsel) durch eine Besäummaschine 4 in einen Eingangsschlingenblldner 5 und , falls erforderlich, durch einen Weichglühofen 6 in die Beizlinie 7. Die Beizlinie 7 bildet Beizstufen 8 und Spülstufen 9, die nachstehend noch genauer beschrieben werden. Aus der letzten Spülstufe 9 tritt das Edelstahlwarmband 1 aus und in einen Ausgangs-Schlingenbildner 10 ein und durchläuft bei Bandende eine Ausgangsschere 11. Während des kontinuierlichen Durchlaufs wird das Edeistahlwarmband 1 im Ausgangsabschnitt 12 wieder zu Bunden gewickelt.
Gemäß Fig. 2 wird innerhalb einer Normatstahtproduktion die Beizlinie 7 in der Beizstufe 8 mit drei Beiztanks und Salzsäure betrieben, währenddem die Spülstufen sämtlich mit Spülwasser arbeiten (Spülen Nr. 1 und 2, Spülen 3 bis 6).
Gemäß Fig. 3 ist die Beizlinie 7 wie folgt aufgebaut: In Beiztanks 16 der Beizlinie 7 befindet sich jeweils in den Beizstufen 8 als Beizmedium 14a Salzsäure 13. Die Spülstufen 9 werden durch Spültanks 17 gebildet, in denen sich in der Spüle Nr. 1 ein Ersatzbeizmedium 14b und in der Spüle Nr. 2 Salpetersäure 14 befindet. In den folgenden Spülstufen 9 wird Spülwasser 15 eingesetzt.
Das Verfahren läuft nun derart ab, dass das Edelstahlwarmband 1 in den Beizstufen 8 mit Salzsäure 13 gebeizt und in ersten Spülstufen 9 mit Salpetersäure 14 sowie einem gleichwirkenden Ersatzbeizmedium 14b gespült und in weiteren Spülstufen 9 mit Spülwasser 15 behandelt wird. Hierbei können zwei oder mehr Beizstufen 8 mit Salzsäure 13 eingesetzt werden. Ebenso kann das Edelstahlwarmband 1 in zwei oder mehr Spülstufen 9 mit der Salpetersäure 14 sowie einem gleichwertigen Ersatzbeizmedium 14b behandelt werden. Anschließend wird das Edelstahlwarmband 1 in zwei oder mehr Spülstufen 9 mit Spülwasser 15 gespült.

Claims (8)

  1. Verfahren zum Beizen von Edelstahlwarmband (1) mit austenitischem, ferritischem und / oder martensitischem Gefüge, das durch Beizstufen (8) mit Salzsäure (13) in Spülstufen (9) mit Salpetersäure (14) und mit Spülwasser (15) geführt wird,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Edelstahlband (1) aus einem Glühofen (6) austretend nach dem Beizen in einer Beizstufe (8), ohne eine mechanische Strahl-Entzunderung, in einer ersten Spülstufe (9) mit einem Ersatzbeizmedium (14b), bestehend aus einem Gemisch von Schwefel- oder Salzsäure (13) mit Wasserstoffperoxid und weiteren Zusätzen, gebeizt und in einer zweiten Spülstufe (9) mit Salpetersäure (14) gespült und in weiteren Spülstufen (9) mit Spülwasser (!5) behandelt wird.
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Edelstahlwarmband (1) in zwei oder mehr Beizstufen (8) mit Salzsäure (13) gebeizt wird.
  3. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Edelstahlwarmband (1) in zumindest einer oder mehreren Spülstufen (9) mit der Salpetersäure (14) oder dem gleichwertigen Gemisch aus Ersatzbeizmedium (14b) behandelt wird.
  4. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Edelstahlwarmband (1) anschließend in zwei oder mehr Spülstufen (9) mit Spülwasser (15) behandelt wird.
  5. Einrichtung zum Beizen von Edelstahlwarmband (1) mit austenitischen, ferritischem und/oder martensitischem Gefüge, das ohne eine mechanische Strahl-Entzunderung hinter einem Weichglühofen (6) durch eine Beizlinie (7) führbar ist,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Edelstahlwarmband (1) bei Eintritt in eine Beizlinie (7), bestehend aus mehreren Beiztanks (16) mit Salzsäure (13) und mehreren Spültanks (17) mit Salpetersäure (14) oder einem gleichwertigen Ersatzbeizmedium (14b), das aus einem Gemisch von Schwefel- oder Salzsäure (13) mit Wasserstoffperoxid und weiteren Zusätzen gebildet ist, und weiteren Spültanks (17) mit Spülwasser (15) behandelbar ist, wobei das Ersatzbeizmedium (14b) in einer ersten und die Salpetersäure (14) in einer zweiten Spülstufe zur Anwendung kommen.
  6. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 5,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in der Beizlinie (7) die ersten drei Beiztanks (16) mit Salzsäure (13) gefüllt sind.
  7. Einrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 5 oder 6,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in der Beizlinie (7) die Spülstufen (9) aus Spültanks (17) mit Salpetersäure (14) oder dem gleichwertigen Ersatzmedium (14b) und anschließen den Spültanks (17) mit Spülwasser (15) bestehen.
  8. Einrichtung nach Anspruch 7,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Spülstufen (9) aus zumindest je einem Spültank (17) mit Salpetersäure (14) sowie dem gleichwertigen Ersatzbeizmedium (14b) und aus zumindest zwei Spültanks (17) mit Spülwasser (15) gebildet sind.
