Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for the comparison of cold-rolled steel blend.
- Cold rolled steel blend must be annealed after cold rolling in order to be used for further processing, e.g. by deep drawing to achieve the required mechanical properties.
- the annealing of cold rolled steel strip is done e.g. Currently still predominantly in hood ventilation systems. This process is very lengthy, with annealing and cooling times of up to 10 days being common.
- An advantage of the hood annealing is that even small production quantities can be produced economically and that the investment costs for a plant of low production are relatively low.
- a major disadvantage of the hood scraper is that high-strength steels, especially the so-called dual-phase steels, can only be produced to a very limited extent and with the use of additional alloying elements, which makes these steels correspondingly expensive.
- the disadvantages of bell annealing are largely eliminated by the continuous annealing. This enables cost-effective production of high-strength steels, better uniformity of material properties over the length of the strip, better cleanliness of the strip surface and excellent flatness of the strip. In addition, the throughput time of the material is drastically reduced compared to the bell anneal and is only about 10 minutes.
- the disadvantage of continuous annealing is that, in their current conception, they require very high investment costs and are therefore only economically interesting for relatively high annual production.
- the object of the invention is to provide an annealing process with which even smaller production quantities can be processed economically in a process corresponding to continuous annealing. According to the invention, this object is achieved by the features specified in the patent claims.
- the invention advantageously provides a semi-continuous annealing process in which an otherwise customary separate aging furnace is saved by two passes through an annealing system and operation of the annealing furnace as an aging furnace. This considerably reduces the system outlay; the overall length is greatly reduced.
- the pickling which must be arranged in front of the annealing furnace or over-furnace furnace in this system, is bypassed during the first pass of the belt.
- the cold-rolled strip first passes through the known strip cleaning process steps (degreasing 5, rinsing 7, drying 8). Then it runs into a vertical annealing furnace 10, where it is heated to annealing temperature, primarily inductively 11, and briefly kept at annealing temperature 12 (under protective gas). The strip is then slowly cooled 13 with a cooled protective gas from the holding temperature between 700 ° C and 850 ° C to a lower temperature 13 and very quickly quenched in a known manner after exiting the furnace in a water tank 14, the quenching speed depending on the strip thickness approx Can be 500 to 2000 ° C per second. Depending on the steel grade, the water tank can be broken off directly from the holding temperature. After exiting the furnace, the belt surface is oxidized. The tape which is moist after exiting the water tank is then dried 15 and wound up into a bundle by a reel 18. In a known manner, the reel and a band store and a pair of scissors 17 are arranged upstream.
- the bundles annealed and quenched in this way still contain a high proportion of carbon dissolved in iron and are therefore not yet suitable for further processing.
- the surface is covered by a thin oxide layer.
- pickling and aging being carried out in order to remove the oxide layer and to partially or completely remove the dissolved carbon.
- these bundles are returned to the decoilers after passing through an intermediate storage 19.
- the first band is welded to a dummy band (at 3), which has been welded to the last band of the first pass.
- the strip passes through the pickle 6, neutralization 7, sink 8 and dryer 9 before it enters the furnace 10 again.
- the strip is heated inductively, preferably under protective gas, to the aging temperature, which is 200 ° C. to 400 ° C., depending on the steel grade.
- the strip is held at this temperature in a known manner for about 45 to 60 seconds, the carbon dissolved in the iron being partially or almost completely eliminated, depending on the temperature.
- the strip is cooled to a temperature below 100 ° C. by means of cooled protective gas, so that it no longer oxidizes when it leaves the furnace.
- the tape is then fed through the dry water tank to the take-up reel 18 and wound into ends.
Description
- Fig. 1 die erfindungsgemäße Glühanlage während des Glühbetriebes,
- Fig. 2 die erfindungsgemäße Glühanlage während des Überalterungsbetriebes.
