Claims (28)

  1. Surface mountable luminaire (1) having fastening elements, which
    • on the one hand permit a temporary fastening of the surface mountable luminaire (1) on a wall or ceiling in a first installation step, such that the surface mountable luminaire (1) has a spacing from the wall or ceiling and its rear side (25) is accessible for an electrical connection and
    • on the other hand permit a final fastening of the surface mountable luminaire (1) in a second installation step, such that the rear side (25) of the surface mountable luminaire (1) bears, in a surfaced mounted position, on the wall or ceiling,
    wherein the fastening elements are so configured that the transition of the surface mountable luminaire (1) from the first installation step to the second installation step is effected by
    a) a pivot movement of the surface mountable luminaire (1) around a pivot axis (23) running approximately parallel to the surface mounted position into an intermediate position directed approximately parallel to the wall or ceiling, and
    b) a movement into the second assembly position, following the pivot movement, directed transversely of the rear side of the luminaire.
  2. Surface mountable luminaire according to claim 1,
    characterised in that,
    the pivot axis (23) is offset to the side with regard to a middle plane (E1) of the luminaire (1) extending at right-angles to the rear side (25) of the luminaire (1).
  3. Surface mountable luminaire according to claim 1 or 2,
    characterised in that,
    fastening elements are provided on the ceiling side and on the luminaire side and the fastening elements on the luminaire side are arranged on a housing (2) of the surface mountable luminaire (1).
  4. Surface mountable luminaire according to claim 3,
    characterised in that,
    the housing (2) has a profile body (6), which at the end face is fitted together with at least one end part (7) and/or at least one end face intermediate part (8) and the fastening elements on the luminaire side are arranged on the end part (7) and/or end face intermediate part (8).
  5. Surface mountable luminaire according to claim 4,

  7. Surface mountable luminaire according to any preceding claim,

    the fastening elements are connectable with each other by hanging on.
  8. Surface mountable luminaire according to any of preceding claims 3 to 7,

    the ceiling side fastening elements have a claw-form shaping for connection with the surface mountable luminaire (1).

    the ceiling side fastening elements are formed by an angle element (17) having a base limb (17a) and a retaining limb (18a) extending transversely therefrom.
  10. Surface mountable luminaire according to any preceding claim,
    characterised in that,
    the ceiling side fastening elements are a U-shaped and thus double angle shaped angled element (17) having at least two retaining limbs (17a, 18a).
  11. Surface mountable luminaire according to claim 9 or 10,
    characterised in that,
    at least one retaining limb (17a, 18a) is of elastically flexible material.
  12. Surface mountable luminaire according to claim 10 or 11,
    characterised in that,
    the claw-form shaping is formed on the retaining limb (18a) and is preferably formed by a hook limb (21a).
  13. Surface mountable luminaire according to any preceding claim,
    characterised in that,
    the surface mountable luminaire (1) has a first luminaire side fastening element (22a) and a second luminaire side fastening element (22b), wherein the second fastening element (22b) has a spacing, extending transversely of the rear side (25) of the surface mountable luminaire (1), from the first fastening element (22a).
  14. Surface mountable luminaire according to claim 13,
    characterised in that,
    there is associated with the luminaire side fastening elements (22a, 22b) a ceiling side fastening element (21) which is arranged on a limb (18a) the length of which corresponds to at least the spacing between the luminaire side fastening elements (22a, 22b).

    characterised in that,
    the second fastening element (22b) is a latching element which cooperates with the claw-form shaping.
  16. Surface mountable luminaire according to any of claims 2 to 15,
    characterised in that,
    the fastening elements are arranged, preferably symmetrically, on the two sides of a longitudinal middle plane (E1) extending at right-angles to the rear side (25).
  17. Surface mountable luminaire according to any preceding claim,
    characterised in that,
    it is suitable to be assembled together with further luminaires (1) of the same type to a lighting strip, in that it has at both ends the end face parts and fastening elements engaging thereon for the fastening of the luminaire (1) on a wall or ceiling, and in that the fastening elements and the end face parts (8) are so configured that in each case one fastening element can engage at the same time on two neighbouring end face parts (8).
  18. Surface mountable luminaire according to claim 17,
    characterised in that,
    the ceiling side fastening element engages over the end face parts (8) in U-shape.
  19. Surface mountable luminaire according to claim 18,
    characterised in that,
    the end face parts (8) have base walls (8a) that extend transversely of the longitudinal direction of the lighting strip, from the inner sides of which base walls there extend side wall sections (8a1, 8b1, 8d1, 8e1, 8f1), and the ceiling side fastening element engages over the base walls (8a).
  20. Surface mountable luminaire according to any of claims 17 to 19,
    characterised in that,
    the fastening elements have connecting elements for hanging on and latching.
  21. Surface mountable luminaire according to any of claims 17 to 20,
    characterised in that,
    at least those end face parts (8) which in the lighting strip are to be aligned against other end face parts (8) have at their outer side at least one connecting element (41, 42) which is provided for the production of a connection with the neighbouring end face part (8).

    the one connecting element (41) has a head shaped extension (41a), and the other connecting element (42) has an undercut (42a) receiving the extension (41a).
  24. Surface mountable luminaire according to any of claims 21 to 23,
    characterised in that,
    the connecting elements (41, 42) are arranged centrally, or in each case at least two connecting elements (41,42) are arranged off-centre.
  25. Surface mountable luminaire according to any of claims 21 to 24,
    characterised in that,
    the connecting elements (41, 42) are formed by profiles extending transversely, in particular at right-angles, to the rear side (25).
  26. Surface mountable luminaire according to any of claims 22 to 25,
    characterised in that,
    with regard to a longitudinal middle plane (E2) of the end face parts (8) at least the connecting elements (41, 42) or also the external surface parts (43a, 43b) are constituted mirror symmetrically, but contrary to one another.
  27. Surface mountable luminaire according to claim 26,
    characterised in that,
