Description

The invention relates to a fastener, especially for recessed lighting in retracted ceilings, walls, panels and the like. Under recessed lights are understood here lighting fixture, which are installed in ceilings, walls or the like. Installed.

By the European patent application with the publication no. No. 0 145 680 A2, a generic arrangement for fastening a lighting fixture is known, which consists of a hollow cylindrical body with a cover at one end. The end cover accommodates the lamp socket, and it also makes contact with the electrical connections. At its other, open end of the hollow cylindrical body is provided with a flange, which comes to rest during installation in a wall or ceiling opening on the edge. In the wall of the cylindrical body a plurality of slots are arranged opposite each other, each lying in the longitudinal direction in a row one above the other. In these slots about U-shaped bent leaf springs are inserted so that their ends protrude from the cylinder wall. During assembly, the spring ends should resiliently come to rest on the wall of the wall or ceiling opening, or else engage behind a panel provided with an opening in order to hold the whole in it.

The installation of the arrangement is cumbersome and requires a lot of skill and dexterity. The cylindrical body and lamp socket can not be pre-assembled and installed as a unit. First, the cylindrical body must be inserted into the intended wall or ceiling opening and the springs must be pushed from the inside with their ends through the slots and placed in position to hold the cylinder in the opening can. Only then can the lamp holder be plugged in. On the one hand, the spring ends should not hinder the insertion of the cylinder into the opening, then they should hold him in position. This manipulation with the springs, in which at the same time the cylinder has to be brought into its position and held, is cumbersome and time-consuming and will often fail on the first and in further attempts.

European patent application publication no. EP 0 840 060 A2 shows a fixture for lighting fixtures consisting essentially of a non-isosceles V bent leaf spring articulated to the end of the shorter leg close to the opening of a cup-shaped housing of the fixture. The end of the longer leg is bent at right angles and also has a protruding nose at a certain distance from the end. In the top or in the bending point of the V, a substantially cylindrical stop member is arranged. Two or more of such clamping springs are arranged on the outer circumference of the housing of the lighting fixture, wherein in the preassembled state, the longer leg of the leaf spring projects through a slot in the housing into the interior and the stop member bears against the outside of the housing; the leaf spring is still tensionless. In order to mount the lighting fixture on a panel, the housing is inserted into a designated opening until it rests with a molded edge on the panel. Thereafter, the longer leg of the leaf spring is pushed outwardly through the slot until the abutment abuts the bending point of the V on the back of the panel, and it is pushed further until the protruding lance jumps through the slot and engages outside the housing. wherein the longer leg bends excitingly to exert a force on the panel which holds the housing of the lighting fixture in the panel.

The main drawback of this solution is that this type of clamping springs can be used only together with a specially designed, just the pot-shaped housing of a lighting fixture and that they are only suitable for mounting such a fixture on panels or retracted false ceilings, because the clamping springs can only be effective, if they can grab behind a panel or ceiling tile. For attachment in a cylindrical opening of a normal wall or ceiling, they are unsuitable, which makes this solution ultimately expensive. In addition, in this case, the clamping springs must be pressed by hand from the inside of the housing to the outside. In order to have the space necessary for this manipulation, the actual installations, such as lamp holder, etc., can be retrofitted and not pre-installed, which requires uncomfortable overhead work when mounted on a ceiling.

The object of the invention is to provide an inexpensive and secure fastening means for recessed lighting, which is easy to handle and universally used together with various designs of recessed lights and any walls or ceilings, including panels and if necessary, a simple disassembly of a recessed light allowed.

This is achieved according to the invention by
in that the fastening means consists of two parts, namely a claw plate with roughly rectangularly projecting claws and a longer spring plate compared to the claw plate, which has a first section with a flat surface and a second section with a longitudinally curved surface in the longitudinal direction,
that at the free end of the section with a flat surface a tongue and at the free end of the portion with a curved surface locking projections for the resilient engagement on the circumference of a lamp or lamp housing are provided and
that in the preassembled state of the fastener, the claw plate is slidably held on the spring plate with her pointing away claws in the region of the flat surface portion and longitudinally and the bent portion of the spring plate away from the claw plate.

If at least two such fasteners are preferably arranged evenly spaced around the circumference of a lamp or lamp housing, the entire assembly can be inserted into a correspondingly sized mounting hole, wherein after the stop at the edge of the mounting hole, the claw plate on the flat portion of the spring plate, as on an inclined plane, is pushed down toward the bent portion and so their claws finally bite in the peripheral surface of the mounting hole. Thus, the lamp as a whole, ie with all the necessary installations, such as lamp holder and electrical connections, etc., in the simplest way and without the aid of a tool in a short time, can be mounted safely with a few simple steps.

Advantageously, the claw plate has a latching opening near its lower edge and in the spring plate a resiliently projecting from its section with curved surface spring blade is cut at the free end of a locking lug is formed which engages in this latching hole and thereby biases the spring blade when the claw plate on the spring plate is moved towards the section with curved surface. Thus, the position of the claw plate is secured to the spring plate after mounting the lamp and thus the seat of the lamp in the mounting hole. If at some point there is a need to remove the lamp from the mounting hole, it is sufficient with a simple tool, e.g. a screwdriver to disengage the engagement of the latch in the Einrastöffnung to just as easily pull out the lamp can.

If an expression is provided in the spring plate in the transition region from its flat surface portion to its arcuate surface portion which engages in the same snap-in aperture in the preassembled state of the fastener or bears against the surface of the claw plate with light tension, the position of the claw plate is secured on the spring plate in the preassembled state, which greatly facilitates and simplifies the handling of the arrangement.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the tongue is angled or bent at the free end of the flat portion of the spring plate, and the claw plate has an opening which is slightly wider than the spring plate; From the side edges of this opening protrude transversely into this opening, which are attacked by the spring plate when preassembled claw plate and spring plate. Instead of the extensions, a bridge-like bridge can cross the opening. So the claw plate is held securely on the spring plate and guided when moving.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the tongue is bent at the free end of the flat portion of the spring plate V-shaped and on the free V-leg is formed a nose for engagement with the housing of a lamp or lamp.

An abutment, which comes into contact with the mounting at the edge of a mounting hole can be provided on the lower edge of the claw plate. In addition, a holder for a decorative strip or a lampshade can be provided on the lower edge of the claw plate.

This stop and this holder can be provided in that the lower edge of the claw plate is bent in the same direction as the claws at right angles and is divided into two lateral Teilabschitte and a central portion, the lateral sections form stops for the edge of a mounting hole and the middle Section again bent back U-shaped and forms the holder for a trim strip or a lampshade.

The fastener 20 consists of two parts, namely a rectangular in its basic form and relatively wide, for example, approximately square, claw plate 1 of FIG. 1 and in its basic form also rectangular, but significantly narrower and longer spring plate 2 as shown in FIG. 4. The claw plate 1 has a punched-out opening 3 , which is subdivided into an upper section 3a and a lower, broader section 3b , so that a step 4 results on both sides at the transition from section 3a to section 3b . The wider section 3b may be interrupted again approximately at its half height by a transversely extending web, or protrude according to FIG. 1 at half the height of the opening 3 from its two side edges projections 5 in the opening 3 into it. Below the opening 3 is again a smaller, rectangular Einrastöffnung 6. Both side edges of the claw plate 1 are flanged at right angles and provided with sawtooth-shaped claws 7 (see also Fig. 2). Also at its upper edge 8 , the claw plate 1 is bent at an angle in the direction of the sawtooth-shaped claws 7 , and the lower edge is bent at right angles, this bent portion of the lower edge is divided by punching into two narrow, lateral sections and a broader, middle sections; the two lateral sections form stops 9a for the edge of a mounting hole 22, and the middle section is again bent back in a U-shape and forms a holder 9b for a trim strip 24 or a lampshade (see Fig. 9 and Fig. 10b and 10c).

Fig. 5).The spring plate 2 is shown in Fig. 4 is little narrower than the lower portion 3b of the opening 3 in the claw plate 1. At its upper end a central tongue 10 is punched, which is bent to a rounded V, wherein in the free V-leg 10a an outwardly projecting nose 11 is formed (see Fig. 5).

Approximately half the length of the spring plate 2 is a central expression 12, which projects in the opposite direction to the V of the tongue 10 . The spring plate 2 is divided into a first portion 2a, which has a flat surface, and a second portion 2b, whose surface is bent in the longitudinal direction, below the expression 12 , following a round curve following; this bent section 2b terminates in two lateral Einrastfortsätzen 13. In addition, cut a parachutist, center from the bent portion 2b of the spring leaf 14 below the expression 12, the following further 2a-energized the spring plate 2 of the flat surface of the section and bent at the free end and is provided with a latch 15 .

In dieser Anordnung bildet der ebene Abschnitt 2a der Federplatte 2 eine schiefe Ebene, auf der die Krallenplatte 1 in Richtung auf den gebogenen Abschnitt 2b und damit radial nach außen verschoben werden kann.FIG. 6 shows, in a view corresponding to FIGS. 1 and 4, the fastening means 20 preassembled from the claw plate 1 and the spring plate 2 according to the embodiment described here. For this purpose, the spring plate 2 was pushed ahead with its front end and its tongue 10 under the transversely projecting into the opening 3 of the claw plate 1 extensions 5 until the expression 12 resiliently engages in the latching opening 6 below the opening 3 of the claw plate 1 . In this preassembled state, as shown in Fig. 7 for the claw plate 1 with solid lines, the fastener 20 is supplied to the lighting manufacturer. The luminaire manufacturer then at least two, preferably three, of these fasteners 20 evenly distributed on the circumference of a lamp itself, or a lamp housing 16, attached, as indicated in Fig. 7 with respect to one of the fasteners 20 . Namely, on the one hand, the V-shaped tongue 10 is inserted at the upper end of the spring plate 2 into a hole 17 provided in the lamp housing 16 so that the nose 11 formed on the free V-leg 10a engages behind the edge of the hole 17 and on the other hand, the locking projections 13 formed at the lower, curvilinearly curved end of the spring plate 2 are latched into corresponding recesses 18 at the angularly bent edge 19 of the lamp housing 16 (see also FIG. 8), whereby the spring plate 2 is given a certain tension the fastener 20 on the lamp housing 16 holds in place. In this arrangement, the flat portion 2a of the spring plate 2 forms an inclined plane on which the claw plate 1 can be displaced in the direction of the bent portion 2b and thus radially outward.

In den Fig. 10a bis 10c ist schematisch dargestellt, wie eine mit zwei solchen Befestigungsmitteln 20 ausgerüstete Leuchte 21 im Montageloch 22 einer eingezogenen Decke 23 oder eines Paneels montiert wird.FIGS. 10 a to 10 c show schematically how a luminaire 21 equipped with two such fastening means 20 is mounted in the mounting hole 22 of a retracted ceiling 23 or a panel.

As indicated in FIGS. 10a and 10b, the attachment means 20 are in the preassembled position described above. For assembly, the lamp 21 only needs to be inserted together with the attachment means 20 attached to its circumference in a correspondingly sized mounting hole 22 . In this case, according to FIG. 10b, the stops 9a of the lower edge of the claw plate 1 first come to rest at the edge of the mounting hole 22 . If the lamp 21 is further pushed into the mounting hole 23, so dissolves to the fastening means 20 each of the engagement of the provided on the spring plate 2 expression 12 from the engaging hole 6 of the claw plate 1, and the claw plate 1 slips when further insertion of the lamp 21 on the inclined plane of the portion 2a of the spring plate 2 down until the locking lug 15 engages at the free end of the projecting spring plate 2 spring blade 14 in the same latching opening 6 of the claw plate 1 , wherein the spring blade 14 bent to the curved portion 2b of the spring plate 2 and is tensioned (see also the claw plate 1 and the spring blade 14 in dotted lines in Fig. 7 and Fig. 9). At the same time bite the claws 7 of the claw plate 1 in the circumferential surface of the mounting hole 22 resiliently and cling firmly therein (see Fig. 9 and 10c), so that the lamp 21 is finally clamped therein. By the engagement of the locking lug 15 in the latching opening 6 and the tension of the spring blade 14 , this position is maintained. Thereafter, a trim ring 24, or also a lamp shade, for example in the form of a disk, in the U-shaped bent-back bracket 9b is customarily used at the lower edge of the claw plate. 1

If the lamp 21 should eventually be removed again, it is sufficient to use a simple tool, eg with a screwdriver to release the engagement of the locking lug 15 ; If the lamp 21 is pulled down, the claw plate 1 slides back onto the flat surface of the spring plate 1 and the claws 7 detach themselves from the mounting hole 22nd
