Definitions
- the invention relates to a recording material for the Ink jet printing process with a support and at least one lower layer and one upper, Pigment and a mixture with UV absorber and radical inhibitor (s) containing layer.
- ink jet printing process becomes tiny Ink droplets using different, already several times described techniques on a recording material brought and received by this.
- the recording material becomes different Requirements such as high color density of the printed Points, high ink receptivity, short Drying time and associated adequate Smear resistance, one not beyond the necessary extent Transverse dye diffusion in the transverse direction of printed dots (bleed) as well as a small mottle and a high water resistance. Further requirements, especially for photo-like prints, is a uniform print gloss and surface gloss of the Recording material.
- Inkjet printing processes are in the past Years have become very important.
- the recording layers originally had a high proportion of one in water swelling binding agent, for example Polyvinyl alcohol and gelatin.
- This binder was either on the base paper or one with polyolefin applied coated substrate.
- Such materials have the advantage that they shine and very high Have color densities after printing. This also applies to Systems based on gelatin.
- a major disadvantage are the long drying times, so it at the Handling the prints to affect the Surface quality can come.
- US 5 948 150 describes a composition known as Additive in an ink for an ink-jet printer or but can be used as a coating on paper, which should be printed by an ink-jet printer.
