Definitions
- the invention relates to a rotary cylinder or a rotary roller for an epilation device the preamble of claim 1.
- An epilation device is known from the international patent application PCT / EP96 / 04915, which is provided with a rotary cylinder which is offset from one another by a plurality of angles arranged pairs of clamping elements. With the help of pressure pens Clamping elements during the rotary movement of the rotary cylinder in the area of a plucking zone brought in pairs in clamp contact. Hair between the clamping elements of a user are plucked out by the further rotary movement of the rotary cylinder.
- the object of the invention is to make the hair removal efficient and quiet To create a rotary cylinder for an epilation device, which in particular less noise than developed conventional rotary cylinders, but still a safe grasping and plucking made possible by hair.
- the damping disc is made of a metal, in particular a spring steel, or from a plastic, in particular from a flexible plastic consists.
- the damping disk is advantageously arranged in a rotationally fixed manner with respect to the rotating cylinder, while the pressure pins are axially displaceable in the rotating cylinder.
- An epilation device is already known from EP 0 600 998 B1 in which a noise-reducing device Guide disc between a pressure element, which the clamping elements carries, and the actuator is provided.
- the guide disc serves however, only the creation of a gentle emergence of the pressure element on the associated Control cam.
- the rotary cylinder has a plurality of disks 1, which are approximately coaxial and adjacent are arranged to each other.
- a groove 2 which is approximately across the surface and approximately through the center the respective disc 1 runs.
- the grooves 2 facing adjacent disks 1 are arranged to each other so that they have an elongated clamping element receiving space 3 with an approximately rectangular cross section.
- clamping element receiving space 3 two clamping elements are accommodated, which are extend over the entire length of the clamping element receiving space 3, and approximately have the width of the same.
- the clamping elements are made of metal and are leaf spring-like educated.
- the clamping elements are inserted into the grooves 2 and are with respect to them Main plane of expansion arranged approximately parallel to each other.
- the two clamping elements face each other and form a pair of clamping elements. Some of them are two adjacent clamping elements to each other.
- Figures 1a and 1b is one of the disks 1 with one of the grooves 2 and the one formed therewith Clamping element receiving space 3 shown.
- the clamping elements are in the figures 1a and 1b not shown.
- FIG. 2 shows a washer 4 which is made of normal paper and / or Sand or sandpaper with a particularly fine grain and / or made of a plastic film and / or can consist of a foam rubber-like material.
- the washer 4 is flat and has the shape of the grooves 2 and the clamping element receiving space Third
- Figure 4 is also the disc 1 with the groove 2 and the clamping element receiving space formed therewith 3 shown.
- the washer 4 inserted in the clamping element receiving space 3 .
- 4 also shows a movable clamping element 5 and a fixed clamping element 6 is shown.
- the next to the disc 1 in FIG. 4 is disc 1 'arranged adjacent to it.
- the two clamping elements 5, 6 are arranged facing each other, each have approximately the dimensions of the clamping element receiving space 3 and are flat, in particular designed like a leaf spring.
- the clamping elements 5, 6 are made of steel, for example.
- the disc 1 has a central opening 7 through which an axis for the rotating cylinder can be pushed through. In the direction of the clamping element receiving space 3 is on both On each side of the opening 7 there is a projection 8, each provided with a step 9 is.
- the movable clamping element 5 is provided with a recess 10, with which it is connected to the Projections 8 can be pushed away.
- the movable clamping element 5 is by the projections 8 laterally, so that it is independent of the projections 8 for the Clamping process can perform necessary tilting movement unhindered.
- the disc 1 has a counter bearing 11, which consists of two adjacent surfaces 12, 13 of the clamping element receiving space 3 is formed, which has an obtuse angle 14 form each other.
- the movable clamping element 5 is either on one or the other of the two adjacent surfaces 12, 13 and is thus around obtuse angle 14 pivotable.
- the disc 1 is provided with two openings 15 through which push pins 16 extend. With the help of the pressure pins 16 and the tilt bearing or bearing 18, the movable clamping element 5 can be swung back and forth between the two positions mentioned.
- the fixed clamping element 6 is placed on the steps 9 of the projections 8 of the disc 1 and has an opening 17 for the axis of rotation of the rotary cylinder. With the help of levels 9 is the disc 1 'placed on the disc 1. The fixed clamping element 6 lies over the entire surface on the disc 1 '.
- the disc 1 ' has a bearing 18 which faces the counter bearing 11. With the camp 18, the axis of rotation for the pivoting movement of the free clamping element 5 is fixed. When the movable clamping element 5 is pivoted, the free end of the same lies in the region of the free end of the fixed clamping element 6. Through the push pins 16, the movable clamping element 5 is pressed against the fixed clamping element 6, so that a hair in between is pinched.
- the washer 4 is between the movable clamping element 5 and the washer 1 arranged.
- the movable clamping element 5 is therefore not directly on the surfaces 12, 13 and thus on the counter bearing 11, but only indirectly via the washer 4th
- the washer 4 represents an intermediate layer, the movable clamping element 5 is assigned. In itself, for manufacturing reasons, it is between the movable one Clamping element 5 and the counter bearing 11 a game of a few tenths of a millimeter available. This game is advantageous for the free mobility of the movable clamping element 5. The game is reduced by inserting the washer 4. By a corresponding choice of material for the washer 4, in particular through an elastic one Formation of the washer 4, and by an appropriate choice of the thickness of the washer 4, however, the free mobility of the movable clamping element continues 5 are maintained.
- the number of joints between the relevant components is determined by the washer 4 doubled. That is, there are gaps between the movable clamping element 5 and the washer 4 and between the washer 4 and the counter bearing 11. Das movable clamping element 5 carries out vibrations in which micro movements occur. These micro movements are caused by friction in heat in the joints mentioned (Coulomb friction). This dampens the micro movements. This also represents noise reduction. By doubling the joints with the washer 4, the described effect of joint damping is therefore increased.
- Another option is to place a washer between the fixed Clamping element 6 and the disc 1 'and / or between the two clamping elements 5, 6, to be arranged in the area of the bearing 18 or the counter bearing 11.
- the movable clamping element 5 is shown in FIG. 5a.
- the recess 10 has an opening through which the axis of the rotary cylinder can be inserted.
- the movable clamping element 5 can Projections 8 of the disc 1 are pushed away. 5 are also from FIG Tabs 20 can be seen with which the movable clamping element 5 on the bearing 18 Disc 1 'rests.
- the movable clamping element 5 consists of three layers 21, 22, 23 assembled, which are firmly connected.
- the two outer layers 21, 23 consist of a metal, in particular steel.
- the two outer layers can, but do not have to have a different thickness.
- the one in between Intermediate layer 22 consists of a polymer, in particular an adhesive.
- the movable clamping element 5 shown in FIGS. 5a, 5b and 5c adjusts compulsory layered vibration damping system that the movable clamping element 5 is assigned. So the system is in one of those components that form the active power flow path in the rotary cylinder.
- the movable clamping element 5 performs vibrations that lead to shear stresses in the Guide intermediate layer 22.
- the existing vibration energy is thus in the intermediate layer 22 converted into heat (by internal friction) by shear stresses. This causes a damping of the vibration and thus a reduction of the developed Structure-borne and / or airborne noise.
- Less of the movable clamping element 5 Airborne noise emitted and less structure-borne noise introduced into neighboring housing parts.
- the clamping element 5 becomes less high-frequency and therefore for that human hearing emitted unpleasant airborne noise.
- FIG. 5a, 5b and 5c 5 Another advantage of the movable clamping element shown in Figures 5a, 5b and 5c 5 is that the bouncing of the clamping element 5 is reduced. In order to the closing behavior of the clamping elements 5, 6 is improved and reliable detection and plucking hair guaranteed.
- FIGS. 6 and 7 show components that are already in connection with FIGS. 1 to 5 have been explained, provided with the same reference numerals. With regard to these components reference is hereby made to the description of FIGS. 1 to 5.
- FIGS. 1 to 5 The means for noise reduction present in FIGS. 1 to 5, for example the Washer 4 or the like can also be present in FIGS. 6 and 7 his. However, these funds can also be only partially present or can be dispensed with entirely.
- the pressure pins 16 are also shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 provided to act on the movable clamping element 5.
- the two free ends one of the pressure pins 16 is assigned to the clamping element 5.
- a pressure plate 60 is provided on both sides of the rotary cylinder.
- the Pressure plate 60 serves to support the rotary cylinder and defines its axis of rotation.
- the Pressure plate 60 is therefore coaxial with the disks 1, 1 'and thus coaxial with the Aligned rotary cylinder.
- Figure 6 one side of the rotary cylinder with one of the two pressure plates 60 shown.
- the pressure plate 60 is stationary with respect to the disks 1, 1 'and thus with respect to the Rotary cylinder arranged.
- the pressure plate 60 is provided with a pressure roller 61, the Axis of rotation is aligned radially to the axis of rotation of the rotary cylinder.
- Figure 7 is only that Axis 62 of the pressure roller 61, but not the pressure roller 61 itself.
- the pressure pins 16 accommodated in the rotary cylinder are made with the help of the pressure plate 60 operated. This is achieved in that when the rotary cylinder is rotating, the pressure pins 16 move past the pressure roller 61. With this passing the respective Push pin 16 from the pinch roller 61 toward the movable clamp member 5 pressed.
- the two pressure pins 16 thus act alternately on the two free ends of the movable clamping element 5. This has the consequence that the clamping element 5 between is pivoted back and forth in its two end positions. The clamping element 5 always from one of the two pressure pins 16 at its one free end into one of the two End positions moved, while the other push pin 16 simultaneously from the other free end of the clamping element 5 is pushed back.
- a damping disk 63 is located between the pressure plate 60 and the pressure pins 16 arranged.
- the damping disc 63 consists of a metal, in particular of a Spring steel, or from a plastic, in particular from a flexible plastic., Or a plastic film.
- the damping disk 63 is coaxial with the pressure plate 60 and thus coaxial with the Aligned rotary cylinder. With the help of centering pins 64, the damping disk 63 is fixed coupled to the pressure plate 60 so that the damping plate 63 is not about the Can rotate the axis of rotation of the rotary cylinder.
- the damping disk 63 has an area 65 which, due to the fixing pins 64 continuously assigned to the pressure roller 61 and there between the pressure roller 61 and the actuated pressure pin 16 is arranged.
- the damping disk 63 also has an area 66 which, owing to the fixing pins 64, is the same as that pressure pin 16 is assigned, which faces the respective actuated push pin 16 and thus is assigned to the same clamping element 5. This area 66 of the damping disk 63 is arranged between this opposing pressure pin 16 and the pressure plate 60.
- the opposing pressure pin 16 is from the associated free end of the movable clamping element 5 pushed back. From the pressure plate 60, the pressure pin 16 not burdened in this position. This has without the damping disk 63 Consequence that the pressure pin 16 and thus also the associated free end of the Clamping element 5 can move in an uncontrolled manner and possibly in vibrations can be moved.
- the area 66 of the damping disk 63 is designed such that the said opposing pressure pin 16 is loaded by the damping plate 63. Through this the region 66 of the damping disk 63 arranged therebetween becomes the pressure pin 16 continuously pressed against the free end of the clamping element 5. The pressure pin 16 lies thus continuously at the free end of the clamping element 5. So that neither Push pin 16, the associated free end of the clamping element 5 itself out of control move or even execute a vibration.
- the pressure roller (61) is also driven over by the damping disk 63 the pressure pins 16 are particularly quiet.
