Elément d'amortissement selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que les mâchoires (14, 14') sont des demi cylindres qui sur les deux faces comportent des découpes libres parallèles à leur sens de déplacement, de sorte que le contour extérieur d'ensemble des mâchoires (14, 14') soit de forme ovale et en ce que l'élément de bridage (5) comporte deux talons opposés (43, 43') dirigés vers l'intérieur, qui dans la première position se situent dans les découpes libres de sorte que les mâchoires (14, 14') soient mobiles en direction radiale et qui dans la deuxième position s'appliquent sur la face extérieure des demi cylindres et pressent à cet effet les mâchoires (14, 14') contre la tige (7).
  17. Elément d'amortissement selon la revendication 16, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de bridage comporte une collerette (24) dirigée vers l'intérieur avec des saillies dirigées vers l'intérieur qui s'appliquent sur la tige (7), ce qui a pour effet d'exercer un léger effet de serrage sur la tige (7).
  18. Elément d'amortissement selon la revendication 16 ou 17, caractérisé en ce que l'élément de bridage (5) est maintenu de façon rotative autour de l'axe normal du boîtier (3), guidé dans une coulisse avec un tronçon horizontal (41), qui comporte un trajet libre pour un tenon (30) d'au moins 90° mesuré dans le sens périphérique.
  19. Elément d'amortissement selon la revendication 18, caractérisé en ce que la coulisse pour l'introduction de l'élément de bridage dans le boîtier présente un tronçon vertical (42) s'étendant à la verticale, débouchant approximativement au centre du tronçon horizontal (41).
  20. Elément d'amortissement selon la revendication 14 ou 19, caractérisé en ce qu'au moins sur l'extrémité d'un tronçon horizontal (41), est prévu un élément de verrouillage (35, 36) qui fait obstacle au retour du tenon (30).
  21. Elément d'amortissement selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce qu'une bride (22) saillant vers l'extérieur, qui est munie de logements (23) pour un outil, est disposée sur l'extrémité supérieure de l'élément de bridage (5).
  22. Procédé d'ajustage d'un élément d'amortissement selon l'une des revendications 16 à 21, caractérisé en ce qu'au cours d'une première étape, on assemble l'élément d'amortissement (1), l'élément de bridage (5) étant introduit dans le boîtier (3) et orienté par rapport au boîtier de façon à se trouver dans sa première position, dans laquelle la tige est mobile contre une faible résistance par rapport au boîtier et l'élément de butée (2) fait saillie hors du boîtier (3), de façon à traverser toutes les distances possibles pouvant se présenter, en ce qu'au cours d'une étape suivante, on introduit l'élément d'amortissement (1) ainsi préparé dans le cadre de carrosserie (8) qui entoure l'ouverture à fermer et en ce qu'on ferme l'abattant, l'élément de butée (2) étant déplacé contre la résistance et en ce qu'au cours d'une étape finale, on tourne l'élément de bridage (5) dans le tronçon horizontal (41) de la coulisse, pour qu'il adopte la deuxième position dans laquelle les mâchoires (14, 14') fixent l'élément de butée (2).
  23. Procédé d'ajustage d'un élément d'amortissement selon la revendication 16 ou 22, caractérisé en ce qu'après avoir procédé au réglage, on fixe un téton, le cas échéant élastique, à l'emplacement de l'abattant sur lequel vient s'appliquer la tête (6) de l'élément de butée (2).
