Definitions

  • the invention relates to a roof hood for cleaning and keeping building roofs clean, especially of vegetal growth or environmental pollution, consisting of a in Connection with moisture-reacting metal, the roofing made of sheet material by punching and Bending is made and a structured reaction surface having.
  • Such a device for protecting housing roofs against vegetation, especially against vegetation by mosses and lichens is from WO 98/01637 of the applicant known.
  • the roof covering plate-shaped material By making the roof covering plate-shaped material by punching and bending results here the possibility that the roof covering in easier Way to the shape of those used in roofing Roof tiles or ridge tiles can be adapted.
  • the rounding can be formed at the same time as the punching process be so that compared to a simple copper sheet optically appealing design results and especially the Reaction area used for the draining moisture becomes.
  • there is a simpler assembly of the roofing by the roofer as the outer form with the Roof tiles or ridge tiles matching roof covering can be easily inserted or put on.
  • the published patent application DE 39 13 030 A1 discloses one copper ridge width and copper sheet strips on the Ridge or in the roof area, by long strips of copper sheet on the roof ridge on site be bent or copper sheet strips between the roof tiles are inserted.
  • the invention has for its object such roofing for cleaning and keeping building roofs clean regarding durability and effectiveness as well Ease of assembly or handling and stability improve.
  • the inventor proposes a roof covering on the ridge for cleaning and keeping clean of building roofs, especially vegetation or Environmental protection, consisting of a related to Moisture-reacting metal before, the roof covering made of sheet material by punching and bending is produced and a structured reaction surface has, which along at least one end face of the Roof covering has an upward bend.
  • This fold is one of the Longitudinal edges continuously tapered.
  • this can be done with Moisture-reacting copper roofing metal consist.
  • the bend is along the entire length lower end face of the roof covering runs and / or is formed as a bend in the reaction surface.
  • the fold can also be an opposite one Facing the edge on the other end. Also one Crescent-shaped formation of the bevel is possible, also between the fold and the opposite fold Gap can be formed.
  • reaction surface especially its surface Top edge on a bevel, in the horizontal plane train continuously.
  • the inventor also creates a unit, consisting of at least one bracket and a roof cover with the features listed above, proposed at least one bracket with an end hook on the Roofing is attached.
  • This hook can too advantageously consist of spring-hard copper and / or through a screw be formed.
  • reaction surface a variety of elevations and / or depressions and / or breakthroughs has, preferably each of an annular bead can be outlined.
  • each of an annular bead can be outlined.
  • the Lower edge of the roof covering also designed as a profile become.
  • the inventive design of the roof covering causes particularly advantageous that water ingress to a Fastening clip is reliably avoided, with a simple, crescent-shaped fold as a fold is preferred. This also improves effectiveness, since Moisture is fed to the reaction field. Also results a more even one due to the preferred overlap Appearance of the roof covering. Furthermore, the Bends burrs on the side edges largely avoided, so that even without expensive Postprocessing reduces the risk of injury and thus the Handling and mountability for the roofer and the Dimensional stability is improved.
  • the Circumferential ring-shaped bead of independent reaction surface Significance, because of the water retention and thus the Residence time on the reaction surface is increased.
  • a roof covering 1 is shown, each on a conventional ridge tile 8 arranged underneath is.
  • the ridge tiles 8 are (as shown on the left) one mounting bracket 7 on each end Intermediate battens 7a or the roof truss fixed in the usual way.
  • the roof covering 1 is made of plate-shaped Material, especially copper sheet put on. This is at the production is initially punched out, at the same time as part of the Stamping processing by bending the curvature in the manner of a quarter or Third cylinder can be incorporated.
  • the reaction surface 2 in the form of Raised, pressed out knobs 3 is the one hand Liquid drain is inhibited, so that the draining moisture (Rain water, snow water and the like) one if possible must travel a long way between and along the knobs 3 and on the other hand, an even distribution on the Reaction area 2 is guaranteed. This is still supported by annular beads 16 (see FIGS. 2 and 3) around the knobs 3 or the recesses 3 'around.
  • bracket 10 which engages around the ridge tile 8 and the Reaction area 2 in several fields 11 (indicated by an arrow) divided. This will cause water to drift sideways largely prevented.
  • bracket 10 Independent importance in this bracket 10 is the final design, namely in shape a barb 12, the bottom 8a or one there mortar joint (see also FIG. 3) of the ridge tile 8 engages behind.
  • This makes the roof covering 1 safe and stable anchored, especially when the bracket 10 made of spring-hard copper consists.
  • the hood element can be slipped over the ridge tile 8, whereby the assembly simplified and particularly secure.
  • bracket 10 generally two per hood element, see also Fig. 2 about halfway up in the area of a bend 14 of passed outside under the reaction surface 2, so that a simple bracket is achieved.
  • the Bracket 10 can also be riveted, glued or screwed.
  • Fig. 2 the preferred embodiment is towards the top upward elevation 4 in the form of a bend in Side view shown that during punching or Bending machining is formed in one tool.
  • the barrier-like design of the increase 4 on the here right-facing end face 1a can be seen, the one Water entry along the ridge towards the fastening clip 7 prevent safely.
  • Bracket 10 is two hood-shaped roof coverings 1 in the inserted position shown on two ridge tiles 8, wherein these can also consist of concrete form plates and adhere to the Overlap each joint.
  • the Arrangement of the located on the roof covering 1 structured reaction surface 2 can be seen, as well as the of the front side 1a upward increase 4.
  • On this web-like raised elevation 4 could also be a Sealing cord, a hose, a sealing compound or the like. be attached or increase by such materials 4 be formed yourself.
  • An effect similar to that of the Elevation 4 is achieved by the bracket 10, which is also a Prevent water from drifting sideways. You can do that Bracket 10 can also be arranged at the front ends, in particular if two or three such brackets 10 per hood element are provided.
  • Width is therefore related to the relatively large length the elevations 4 from a longitudinal edge 1b of the roof covering 1 other longitudinal edge (not designated) and parallel to it extending brackets 10 for subdivision into several fields 11 adequate protection against wind and gusts driven moisture in violent storms.
  • FIG 3 shows a half section through the roof covering 1, from which in particular the course of the bracket 10 through the preferably in the ridge direction and horizontal to it aligned bevel 14 to the end with a barb 12 can be seen, as well as the wrap around this in the simplest way barb 12 formed integrally with the bracket 10, the positively into the mortar joint at the lower end 8a of the Ridge tile 8 (or other roof element) engages.
  • the Barb 12 can, however, also be fastened by a short screw 13 be formed, which is inserted in the bracket 10, whereby the Anchoring, especially due to the increased preload of the Bracket 10 when screwing the screw 13 towards the roof is further stabilized.
