Definitions

  • the invention relates to a metal roof panel for Cleaning and keeping building roofs clean, especially of vegetal growth or environmental pollution, consisting of a in Connection with moisture-reacting metal used in Position has an exposed reaction surface.
  • a metal roof panel for Cleaning and keeping building roofs clean especially of vegetal growth or environmental pollution
  • a in Connection with moisture-reacting metal used in Position has an exposed reaction surface.
  • Such a device for protecting housing roofs against vegetation, especially against vegetation through mosses and lichens is known from DE-A-41 30 365.
  • copper agents are used to protect the roof covering Visible area of the roof surface attached so that it with Rainwater come into contact and the rainwater that drains away the largest possible area of the roof covering below the Copper agent overflows.
  • the rainwater dissolves Ingredients from the copper agents that are a vegetable Fouling, especially fouling by moss and lichen counteract.
  • the copper agents are preferred in the form of ridge hoods and along the ridge arranged so that the draining moisture over the entire Roof surface can drain off.
  • domed ridge hood instead of Difficult to manufacture, domed ridge hood also simple strip-shaped copper sheets in the area of the roof saddle be attached.
  • the invention is based on the object Metal roof plate for cleaning and keeping clean Building roofs in terms of effectiveness and manageability continue to improve.
  • the metal roof panel By producing the metal roof panel from plate-shaped By punching material there is a possibility that the Metal roof tile in a simple way to the shape of the Roof covering used roof tiles can be adjusted. Especially when using so-called beaver tail roof panels can the rounding below with the Punching process are formed so that compared to one simple copper sheet a more visually appealing design results and in particular the reaction surface for the outflowing Moisture between two rows of roof tiles more complete is exploited. Furthermore, assembly is simpler the metal roof tile, as the outer shape with the roof tile matching metal roof tile in a simple way between the individual rows of roof tiles can be inserted.
  • the metal roof plate in the half lying in the drain direction knobs are stamped on the metal roof panel (reaction surface), so that the draining moisture as long as possible must travel and at the same time a good distribution of the Moisture is guaranteed on the roof surface.
  • stamping and cutting can be increased at the same time (raised) knobs pushed out at their highest points Openings, in particular in the form of slots, are provided, which creates fluid even on the underside of the metal roof tile can react with the metal underside. This will make one Achieved doubling of the reaction area, so that compared to known system a significant reduction in the number of rows to be covered can be achieved with high effectiveness.
  • a metal roof panel is shown in plan view, in the form of a circumferential bead 1 (see also FIG. 2) a so-called beaver tail roof plate is formed.
  • the metal roof panel along the circumferential bead 1 made of plate-shaped material, in particular copper sheet punched out, at the same time in the course of punching the circumferential bead 1 is embossed.
  • the highest points of the pressed out of the reaction surface 2 Nubs 3 openings 4 in particular in the form of slots 4, 4 'offset from one another are provided.
  • the knobs 3 pushed out the liquid drain is inhibited, so that the draining moisture (rain water, snow water and the like) as long as possible between and along the knob 3 must travel and at the same time an even Distribution on the reaction surface 2 is ensured.
  • the flowing moisture with the metal as long as possible reacts and thereby releases copper ions from the metal roof panel, that prevent vegetation on the roofs of the building and one has a cleaning effect on the roof surface.
  • the slots 4, 4 ' provided also ensure that Moisture also from the top 6 to the bottom 5 of the Metal roof panel can get through and also there the metal surface on the underside 5 of the reaction surface 2 can react. This results in a doubling of the Reaction area, because even in fog or light precipitation due to the capillary action moisture on the bottom 5 of the remains on the roof of the metal roof and hence the reaction time of moisture and metal roof panel is significantly enlarged until it flows away.
  • Fig. 2 the preferred embodiment is towards the top 6 knobs 3 pressed out during punching or Embossing machining slotted openings 4 shown.
  • Fig. 3 is the metal roof panel in the inserted position shown between two rows of roof tiles 8. This will become one the arrangement of the in the lower half of the Structured reaction surface 2 located on the metal roof plate can be seen, as well as the bead 1 surrounding the outer edge The meaning in the upper half (above) is still important of the reaction field 2) shown in FIG. additional bead support 7, on which are located above Can support roof tiles 8. Between the circumferential bead 1 and the bead support 7 thus becomes a flat one Intermediate space 9 is formed, through which an improved Ventilation of the building roofs results.
