Abstract

Procédé de marquage de défauts dans / sur des matériaux laminés en forme de barres une fois que lesdites barres ont quitté le laminoir finisseur. Selon ledit procédé les sites des défauts sont détectés pendant le processus de laminage à l'aide du contrôle par ultrasons et/ou du contrôle inductif. Ces informations sont envoyées à un ordinateur qui identifie et met en mémoire ces informations selon la nature et la position dans le produit laminé. L'ordinateur commande alors à l'aide de ces données un dispositif de marquage de manière telle que le matériau fini en forme de barres est marqué en fonction de la nature de chaque défaut à l'emplacement déterminé par l'ordinateur.
