Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren zum doppelseitigen Bedrucken und/oder Beschichten eines Substrats, insbesondere aus Papier oder Karton, unter Verwendung mindestens eines flüssigen oder trockenen, mindestens ein Polymer aufweisenden Toners vorgeschlagen. Es ist vorgesehen, dass mindestens eine Tonerschicht oder ein erstes, mindestens eine Tonerschicht aufweisendes Bild auf eine erste Seite des Substrats übertragen wird. Anschließend wird der Toner auf seine Glasübergangstemperatur oder eine darüberliegende Temperatur erhitzt und auf dem Substrat fixiert. Dabei verschiebt sich der ursprüngliche Glasumwandlungspunkt des Toners in Folge der Vernetzung seiner Polymerketten auf ein höheres Temperaturniveau und die Viskosität wird erhöht. In einem zweiten Bearbeitungsschritt wird mindestens eine Tonerschicht oder ein zweites, mindestens eine Tonerschicht aufweisendes Bild auf die zweite Substratseite übertragen und auf eine Temperatur erhitzt, die gleich groß wie oder größer als seine Glasübergangstemperatur ist.
