- the guide F becomes one of the weight distributors of the tilted bed frame 2 dependent force against the guide rail 5 pressed.
- the bed frame 2 is tilted due to the predetermined coefficient of friction between the respective guide rail 5 and the corresponding guide F such a large friction that the jamming is effected.
- the jamming can be achieved in particular by a suitable design of the guide rail 5 are amplified or effected, these according to a preferred Embodiment of the present invention can be serrated, so that when tilted of the bed frame 2, the carriages 6 each in corresponding tooth-shaped "Snap" the edges of the assigned guide rails 5.
- the bed frame 2 is designed such that with respect to the bed frame width an uneven weight distribution arises.
- One advantage of such a configuration is that the bed frame 2 canted and jammed in an uncontrolled movement up or down, which immediately leads to a standstill of the bed frame 2.
- the bed frame 2 due to a break in one or both pull chains 9 "Crashes", so to speak, the corresponding guides tilt sideways and the Bed frame 2 is blocked so that a crash can be avoided.
- a tilt and jamming is also effected in the event of a misalignment the pull chains 9 occurs and the load to be lifted or lowered is therefore predominant on a pull chain 9 or one side of the bed frame 2.
- Particularly advantageous is such tilting and jamming in the event that the invention Lift bed 1 is used improperly, for example by lifting or Lowering the bed frame 2 with people on the bed.
- a so-called seat belt as is common in automobiles, attached be, so that a crash of the bed frame 2 additionally by blocking the appropriate seat belt can be avoided.
- such a seat belt or another Belt without blocking function as it were attached to the bed frame 2 as an endless belt be, preferably along the opening of each guide means 4, such an endless belt is arranged in relation to the bed frame 2, i.e. each in the area in which the bed frame 2 enters the guide device 4 transforms.
- the endless belt which is carried with the bed frame 2 up or down, the corresponding opening the guide device 4.
- each endless belt can be guided laterally so that neither a look into the corresponding guide device 4, a "reaching in” is still possible.
- An advantage of such an endless belt is that a user, for example when lifting or lowering the bed frame 2 not into the interior of a guide device 4 can grasp, causing injury from improper use can be prevented.
- each carriage can 6 a seat belt described above or another belt without a blocking function are attached and each connected to the corresponding counterweight 12 be, the respective belt when rolling up or rolling through the corresponding Counterweight 12 is tightened in the event that it is not one Endless belt acts. Furthermore, each endless belt with the corresponding one Counterweight 12 are connected.
- the guide rails 5 of the guide devices 4 are preferably each as T-beam formed, which has a length corresponding to the room height. At the the top and bottom of the T-beam is substantially perpendicular to the side of the T-beam, which opens towards the bed frame 2, a head plate 13 and one Footplate, not shown, attached along a load-bearing ceiling or load-bearing floor. The head plate 13 and foot plate attached to the T-beam each have a length of 30 cm.
- each guide rail 5 with such a foot part ensures that the guide rail 5 tilts into space almost impossible is, provided the guide rail 5 is not attached, because by The bend-proof foot part will rest on the one lying parallel to the bottom wall edge Axis of rotation shifted parallel to the front of the foot section. However, this can no longer tilt the guide rail 5, which reaches to the ceiling, into the room, because by moving the axis of rotation to the front of the foot section the head plate 13 of the guide rail 5 is pressed against the ceiling when tilted.
- This configuration of the guide rail 5 creates a self-locking tilting mechanism created the same when tilting the guide rail 5 wedged.
- two substantially right-angled triangles 14 for each Head plate 13 and foot plate provided, the two triangles 14 at a distance are arranged according to the width of the guide rail 5 so that the one side of the right triangle 14 with the corresponding side of the guide rail 5 is connected and the other side of the right triangle 14th is connected to the head plate 13 or the foot plate.
- the head plate 13 and the But the base plate could also be formed in a single shape with the two triangles 14.
- a carriage 6 is formed, respectively each carriage 6 via a pull chain 9, each having a deflection roller 10 and / or a sprocket 11 is connected to a counterweight 12.
- the two Sprockets 11 are preferably rigidly coupled to one another via a coupling rod, to ensure a synchronous rotation of the two sprockets 11.
- the lift bed 1 is in one so-called night mode, i.e. the bed frame 2 is located near the floor.
- the so-called day mode preferably the sprockets 11 rotates so that the counterweights 12 in are moved vertically downward, the bed frame 2 by means of Carriage 6 is moved vertically upwards along the guide rails 5.
- the sprockets 11 or the coupling rod in the Night mode should preferably be blocked.
- the counterweights 12 are preferably designed such that the sum their mass is greater than the mass of the bed frame 2, so that when released the sprockets 11 in the event that the lift bed 1 is in night mode, one Upward movement of the bed frame 2 arises in that the sum of the the counterweights 12 gravitational forces outweigh that gravity, which attacks the bed frame 2. Thus, no effort is required, for example by a user of the lift bed 1 to the bed frame 2 from the night to move the day mode.
- an external force must be exerted on the bed frame 2 or the counterweights 12 act so that the above-described balance of forces in favor of Bed frame 2 changes, so that a downward movement of the bed frame 2 causes can be.
- FIG. 2 shows a schematic top view of the lift bed 1 according to FIG. 1, for clarification the construction of the management facilities 4.
- the two management facilities 4 of the lift bed 1 are parallel to each other at a distance that is essentially corresponds to a bed frame width, attached to a wall 15.
- a guide rail 5 in the form of a T-beam educated.
- the rollers 7, 8 of the corresponding carriage 6 are each movably supported, wherein both carriages 6 are attached to two bed frame corners of the bed frame 2 are, which are located on the wall end face of the bed frame 2.
- each carriage 6 has a guide F, which on the corresponding Carriage 6 opposite to the foot perpendicular to the legs of the respective T-beam is mounted and for jamming the bed frame 2 serves to tilt.
- FIG. 3 shows a schematic front view of the lift bed 1 according to FIG. 1, comprising an exemplary representation of an exemplary belt drive with a Main reel 17, a counter reel 18 and a drive belt 19 for driving or turning the sprockets can be used.
- the carriage 6 by means of the rollers 7 and 8 along the guide rails 5 in the vertical direction be moved upwards. This is done by rotating the sprockets 11 so that Via the pull chains 9 forces are exerted on the carriage 6, each in the desired movement result.
- the Sprockets 11 are synchronized so that both carriages 6 each at the same time be moved up or down by identical distances.
- This synchronization the chain wheels 11 are made by means of a coupling rod 16, via which both chain wheels are rigidly coupled together. A rotation of the coupling rod 16 thus causes simultaneous or synchronous rotation of the chain wheels 11.
- the coupling rod 16 is rotated by winding or unwinding the drive belt 19 from the main reel 17. This will make the main reel 17 rigid with the coupling rod 16 is connected rotated, and thus the coupling rod also rotates 16.
- a winding or unwinding of the drive belt 19 from the main reel 17 simultaneously causes the drive belt 19 to be unwound or wound onto the counter-reel 18.
- the counter-reel 18 is preferably rotated by means of a motor with upstream reduction gear.
- Another advantage is the use of these belt drives, because it is a enables comfortable and simple operation of the lift bed 1 according to the invention becomes.
- the main reel 17 and the coupling rod are located 16 not at one level, so that the torque of the main reel 17 transferred to the coupling rod 16 via an exemplary indicated deflection roller 20 must become.
- a motor with a correspondingly low output be used because the forces to be applied by the mass ratio between Counterweights 12 and bed frame 2 can be minimized.
- the sprockets 11 or Coupling rod 16 are rotated by means of the drive belt 19 in order to Bring lift bed 1 from day mode to night mode.
- the motor turns with it upstream reduction gear, the counter-reel 18 preferably such that the drive belt 19 is unwound from the main reel 17 and onto the Counter reel 18 is wound up.
- the reels 17, 18 and Sprockets 11 and the coupling rod 16 set in rotation, causing the weights 12 are moved vertically upwards and the bed frame 2 moves downwards moves until it either reaches the night mode position or until the motor is switched off by means of a switch provided for this purpose.
- the engine switches off automatically, for example via a Suitable sensor can be controlled, the 2 in when the bed frame is detected the position of the night mode generates a corresponding control signal.
- a Suitable sensor can also be used to Shut off the engine if an object moves downward in the bed frame 2 under the bed frame or when the bed frame 2 moves upward Object on the bed frame 2 is detected.
- the engine is upstream Reduction gear designed such that due to a high Translation has a self-locking effect, so that the bed frame 2 remains in the position of the night mode and preferably only a renewed activation of the motor cancels this self-locking.
- the motor with reduction gear is preferably switched on, whereupon, for example, by actuating one provided for this purpose Switch of the drive belt 19 is released, so that the bed frame 2 due the mass ratio between the counterweights 12 and the Bed frame 2 can preferably move to day mode without driving the sprockets 11 by means of the engine is necessary.
- the main reel 17 and the counter reel 18 are preferably arranged such that that they can be recessed and that the intermediate main reel 17 and Counter-reel 18 located part of the drive belt via appropriate guides is freely accessible for any manual operation.
- the freely accessible part of the drive belt be operated manually, so that the bed frame 2 in manual mode up or down to move.
- FIG 4 shows a perspective illustration of an overload protection device S according to FIG a particularly preferred embodiment of the present invention, the preferably inserted between the bed frame 2 and the carriage 6 is.
- the overload protection device S consists of a fixed swivel part 21, a pivotable hinge part 22 and a power transmission device 23 together, the fixed swivel part 21 on the carriage 6 and the pivotable hinge part 22 is attached to the bed frame 2.
- the fixed swivel part 21 has a central free-standing end as well two lateral reinforcements, each with beveled stop surfaces 25.
- the free-standing end of the fixed swivel part 21 has a swivel hole in the center 24, with the lower front half of the free-standing end being curved is formed and has an apex that is on the line of symmetry the swivel hole is located.
- the upper front half is rectangular and serves as a stop when folding up the bed frame 2, so that this preferably can not be folded higher than in a horizontal position.
- the end face of the fixed swivel part 21 has a depression at the apex 26 on.
- the pivotable hinge part 22 has one at its two front ends centered to the hinge part height, continuous joint bore 27 and a center of the swivel part width and perpendicular to the swivel hole 27 continuous recess according to the length and width of the free-standing End of the fixed hinge part 21.
- the recess 28 has a surface in its interior that is substantially shaped like that front half of the free end of the fixed pivot part 21, so that the pivotable swivel joint part 22 can on the one hand fold down freely, but on the other hand when folding up by bumping the right-angled upper one Half of the inner surface of the recess 28 against the right-angled upper half of the free-standing end of the fixed swivel part 21 advantageously blocked becomes.
- the two front ends of the pivotable swivel part 22 formed such that they are rounded at their upper ends are and are completed by a surface 34 which is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the hinge part 22 lies and with the lower side of the corresponding front End forms a right angle.
- the overload protection is in this through hole 29 23 arranged.
- the overload protection 23 consists of an adjusting screw 30, a compression spring 31 and a movable body 32, which as a conical Pen is formed together.
- the through hole 29 has on her rear end a thread 33 through which the adjusting screw 30 in the longitudinal direction the through hole 29 can be adjusted.
- the compression spring 31 and the movable body 32 are in the through hole 29 arranged.
- the movable body 32 snaps into the recess 26 of the fixed hinge part 21.
- a predetermined one acts on the bed frame 2 Force that pushes it downward, so the movable body 32 pressed out of the recess 26 and into the through hole 29 of the pivoted pivot part 22 inserted. This releases the overload protection device S off and the bed frame 2 folds down. While folding down of the bed frame 2, the movable body 32 slides on the end face of the Curved free-standing end of the fixed swivel part 21st
- the bed frame 2 now pivots down until the surfaces 34 on the front Ends of the pivotable hinge part 22 to the surfaces 25 on the side Strike the reinforcements of the fixed swivel part 27 so that the slope of the surfaces 25 of the folding area of the bed frame 2 is limited.
- top ends of the two front ends of the pivotable pivot part 22 are rounded, so that when folding down the bed frame 2 has virtually no sharp edges, such as for the case that these ends are formed at right angles, at which a careless could injure users of the corresponding lift bed.
- Another advantage of the overload protection device S according to the invention exists in that by turning the adjusting screw 30 in the longitudinal direction the through hole 29 can be adjusted, whereby the compression spring 31 more or less compressed, the force at which the overload protection device S triggers, is set.
- the force at which the movable body 32 is pushed out of the recess 26 is depends not only on the adjusting screw 30 and the compression spring 31, but also from the shape of the recess 26. Likewise, the force required for folding up the pivotable bed frame 2 from the curved configuration of the free end of the fixed hinge part 21 is determined. Due to the curved design of the free-standing end of the fixed Swivel part 21 is advantageously a much lower force to fold up of the pivotable bed frame 2 is necessary as to trigger the overload protection device S.
- FIG. 5 shows a perspective view of the overload protection device S according to FIG. 4 with maximum deflection of the bed frame 2.
- FIG. 5 prevent the surfaces 25 of the fixed swivel part 21 the bed frame 2 and the to pivot the pivotable swivel part 22 further downward, since the surfaces 34 when folding down the bed frame 2, hit the surfaces 25 and then preferably lie flat on these surfaces 25, so that the Folding area of the lift bed is limited, the maximum deflection of the Bed frame 2 is determined by the slope of the surfaces 25 on the carriage 6.
- Fig. 5 illustrates how the rounded upper ends of the two front ends of the pivotable pivot member 22 when folding down Bed frame 2 are turned upwards, with virtually no sharp edges, where an careless user of the corresponding lift bed injures himself could.
- Fig. 6 shows a schematic side view of a carriage 6 according to the present Invention with rollers 7 and 8 and a guide F.
- the carriage 6 is rigidly coupled to the bed frame 2 and divided into two parts, via an axis 35 are interconnected.
- Each of the two parts has a roller 7, 8, and the part having the roller 8 is in relation to the part having the roller 7 tiltably mounted, namely about an axis that runs parallel to axis 35.
- the guide F is preferably via one for this suitable device 41 firmly connected.
- these two parts are preferably via an adjusting device 36 connected to each other by means of which the two parts can be adjusted in relation to one another are. This can ensure that the bed frame 2 is horizontal with respect can be aligned to the floor of the room.
- the adjusting device 36 is preferably a threaded rod with counter-rotating Threaded at both ends and is on the one hand in a thread 37 in the screwed part of the carriage 6, and on the other hand in a cylindrical Threaded sleeve 38 in the other part of the carriage 6.
- the threaded sleeve 38 has preferably a bore for receiving an overload protection on the lies between the thread and a head part 40 of the threaded sleeve 38.
- the overload protection is preferably designed as a shear pin 39.
- the shear pin 39 is carried out in such a way that a predetermined limit load is exceeded must to shear or break it. This predetermined limit load is Here determined in such a way that lower loads still have no damaging effects on mechanism and assembly.
- An advantage of using such a shear pin 39 with a defined shear force is that when the bed frame 2 is overloaded, only the first Shear bolts shear or break without damaging the lift bed itself.
- the two parts of the carriage 6 move vertically against each other by rotating or tilting about the axis parallel to axis 35 runs, the bed frame 2 tilts down and the threaded sleeve 38 in the corresponding part of the carriage 6 is drawn.
- the tilting movement will ended by striking the head part 40 of the appropriately trained Threaded sleeve 40 to the corresponding part of the carriage 6.
- the head part 40 can in particular be used as a catch bolt be trained.
- the threaded sleeve 38 can be conical, the Diameter of the threaded sleeve 38 starting from the holes for the shear bolt 39 becomes larger in the direction of the head part 40, so that when the Shear pin 39, the tilting movement of the bed frame 2 is braked in that a predetermined friction must be overcome to the threaded sleeve 38 to to move to the head part 40 in the corresponding part of the carriage 6.
- An advantage of such a design of the threaded sleeve 38 is that due to a braked tilting of the bed frame 2, for example, damage on the lift bed or injuries to persons on it can be avoided can.
- the threaded sleeve 38 and the adjusting device 36 are inseparable from each other be connected, and for example in the form of an appropriately dimensioned Screw or a cylindrical rod may be formed only at one end has a thread. At the other end, this screw or rod points as Head part 40 preferably on a suitable catch bolt to catch the tipping Bed frame 2. Furthermore, the screw or cylindrical Rod between the two ends a hole for receiving the shear pin 39, with a maximum deflection of the bed frame 2 downwards the distance between the bore for receiving the shear pin 39 and the Catch pin can be determined.
- the screw or cylindrical Rod and the thread 37 directly through appropriate holes be mounted in the assigned parts of the carriage 6, or by means of this suitable devices, for example, laterally mounted on the parts of the carriage 6 become.
- the catch bolt can be screwed independently of the threaded sleeve 38 or cylindrical rod are formed in a separate collecting device, and therefore not as a head part 40 of the threaded sleeve 38 or as a head part 40 the corresponding rod or screw described above.
- the maximum deflection of the bed frame 2 should not be at an angle of down correspond to more than 35 °.
