Definitions
- the invention relates to an escalator or moving walk, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Balustrade plinth is regularly several millimeters.
- Such an edge gap increases the risk of accidents, for example objects jammed there.
- the marginal gap to keep the width as small as possible.
- the position the balustrade base can be adjusted regularly. After this the escalator steps that are guided on drive chains, having some play is a reduction in the marginal gap to zero without grinding the balustrade base however not possible.
- skirting board has already been proposed just above the step or pallet band on the balustrade base screw on to ensure the rejection function.
- escalators there is the problem that in the corresponding skirting board at the rear of each step is quite spaced. If the distance between Skirting board and step surface is too small also exists here the risk of getting caught, especially if the Skirting board made of plastic. On the other hand, one torn out and thus loose skirting board a considerable Impairment of escalator safety.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of an escalator or a moving walk according to the preamble of claim 1 to create that has a reduced risk of accidents, however nevertheless cheaper manufacturing costs allowed.
- the skirting board does not come off the balustrade base by using force solves and represents a security hazard. ever the larger the protrusion dimension, the bigger are the attachments acting leverage.
- it is special cheap if there is a self-locking snap connection is used, their snapping onto the balustrade sheet or the balustrade base also a molding clasped, which covers a significant part of the height of the Skirting board can extend. Prying off is also included The use of violence is practically impossible.
- the baseboard equipped with a brush band in the front area that ensures a rejection function without one To offer leverage.
- the brush belt runs, for example about at ankle height, so that a passenger when touching the Brush band involuntarily pulls the foot back.
- the brush band is in a longitudinal recess in the baseboard. On Replacement is still possible by pulling out in the longitudinal direction, it being understood that the ends of the skirting board are appropriately closed and secured during operation.
- the brush band at the beginning and end of the escalator i.e. in the Entry and exit areas with a brush cut, so that the protrusion dimension of the baseboard to step or Pallet band gradually increases.
- the production of an escalator according to the invention or one Moving walk according to the invention is by using the inventive Snap connection is also considerably easier.
- the spring clips provided in an advantageous embodiment are prepared at a suitable distance. of, for example, 35 cm Clip-in recesses of the balustrade base, and the skirting board is locked in place. hereby presses the spring clip with its outer legs on the Groin body, so that the groin body is automatically secured is held.
- the spring preload and the protrusion dimension are chosen so that the skirting board cannot be pulled out is possible; also a lateral application of force, for example from above with several 100 Newtons, can be used non-destructively intercept.
- the skirting board above and below is particularly cheap Has sloping sides and is as wide up and down can be supported on the balustrade base as possible.
- the front surface of the baseboard is sloping down points, so that any brush strips attached there as well experience an orientation somewhat obliquely downwards.
- the escalator 10 shown in FIG. 1 has a balustrade 12 with a balustrade base 14 which has a step belt 16 laterally limited by an edge gap 18.
- the balustrade base 14 is with a in the illustrated embodiment Illumination recess 20 provided.
- Skirting board 22 is clearly above a surface 24 of the step belt 16 attached.
- the skirting 12 projects significantly more than the clear width between the surface 24 and the baseboard Is 22. This applies to the embodiments at which the baseboard 22 provided with a brush band 26 is.
- the first embodiment shown in FIG. 1 there are two Brush tapes are provided one above the other on their front surface 30 form a common brush surface.
- the skirting 22 is in a special way on the balustrade base 14 attached.
- the balustrade base 14 faces from each other spaced recesses, wherein a recess 32nd 1 can be seen.
- a recess 32nd 1 are preferred in the bow area Escalator more recesses provided per unit length, for example every 25 cm, while in the straight area of the Escalator requires a lower density of fasteners is, so that corresponding recesses only about every 35 cm are possible.
- the recesses are in the balustrade base 14 punched rectangular.
- the connection between the balustrade base 14 and the skirting 22 established via a snap connection 34.
- the snap connection 34 has an exemplary embodiment Spring clip 36, which extends over a last body 38 of the Skirting board 22 extends and snaps into the recess 32 is.
- the strip body 38 has projections 40 on both sides, which act as an undercut for the spring clip 36 and of this can be attacked.
- the spring clip 36 has a spring tip 42 on which she converges, so that her Introduction to the recess is facilitated. At this point can the width of the spring clip 36, ie the width of the spring clip viewed perpendicular to the plane of the drawing according to FIG. 1, be somewhat reduced so that the spring clip 36 bends when bent together most easily deformed there.
- the spring clip 36 For insertion into the recess 32, the spring clip 36 is included their tip introduced there. After their width at locking projections 46 significantly larger than the clear width of the recess is, it is elastically deformed and snaps into place as soon as she reaches the area of the recess 32 with her neck 48.
- the neck 48 is formed by recessed areas. It is also over centering projections 50 of the last body 38 supported from the inside, and the spring clip 36 is so bent that they can also with supporting projections 52 from the outside is supported on the balustrade base 14. This type of attachment can be seen quite well from FIG. 4.
- When applying the skirting 22 initially slides the spring clip 36 their bent ends 44 (see FIG. 4) on inclined surfaces 46 the baseboard 22 until it is behind the projections 40, the Form undercuts, snap into place. In this situation is the spring clip 36 under strong bias, and the Skirting board is held securely and vandal resistant.
- the skirting 22 has above and below the last body 38 per outer leg 56 and 58 on, which diagonally up or down to the balustrade base 14 extend out.
- the baseboard 22 receives one in essentially trapezoidal design, with its end face 60 is preferably inclined slightly obliquely downwards. By the double bias becomes the base body 38 downright clamped by the spring clip and is safe to pull out held.
- FIG. 2 essentially corresponds the embodiment of FIG. 1. This embodiment is however intended for unlit balustrade bases.
- FIG 3 shows a modified design the skirting 22 and the spring clip 36.
- a spring tip 42 is provided which fits into a recess 32 of the balustrade base 14 can be inserted, the neck 48 supported by centering projections 50 of the strip base 38 and is led.
- the projections 40 the skirting 22 to the inside, and accordingly Ends 44 of the spring clip 36 bent outwards.
- the additional The outward-acting centering projections create tension here 50 generated, in this embodiment It is particularly favorable that the spring clip 36 is supported the lower and upper end of the skirting board is done adjacent.
- skirting board according to the invention is preferably made of Plastic, especially from a very hard set Elastomeric, it is understood that instead of which a light metal extruded profile can also be used, its wall thickness also compared to the representation in the figures can be reduced.
- the base body is supported 38 over longitudinal recesses 60 brush strips, each of Brush strips 62 are held.
- each brush strip 62 can still be used change.
- FIGS. 4 and 6 show further embodiments according to the invention Skirting boards 22. In these embodiments no brush strips are provided.
- the embodiment 6 has a hollow profile 68 on its front side, due to its shape, it is quite softly elastic and therefore in the desired Way is deformable.
- the exact shape of the baseboard in wide range can be adapted to the requirements.
- Prefers is in any case a configuration in which the form or Material-related strength of the skirting 22 to the balustrade base 14 increases.
