Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a horizontal two-part window in which the upper wing is pivotally formed about a horizontal pivot axis at its upper end and the lower wing is either fixed or pivotable about a horizontal pivot axis at its lower end, with a shutter assembly having a in lateral guide rails guided roller shutter, which is on a winding shaft at an end portion of the window up and unwound, each of the two guide rails is formed in two parts, in an upper guide rail and a lower guide rail, facing each other end faces on the horizontal parting line of the window, leaving of a gap face each other.
  • One-piece skylights with a combined shutter assembly are known for example from DE 197 37 263 A1.
  • FR 2 307 115 shuttering arrangements are already disclosed in which a roller shutter armor can be guided in a fixed guide rail and a pivotable guide rail, wherein both guide rails are connected to each other via a hinge.
  • This equipped with two-part guide rails shutter assembly is used for easy operation of the pivotal part of the shutter assembly from an interior on the raising and lowering of the roller shutter, but it is less suitable as a combination with a two-part window, since the operation of the mechanism, the combination only with not openable windows.
  • the present invention is directed to horizontal two-part windows, and more particularly to skylights.
  • the lower part of the window is either fixed or pivotable about a horizontal pivot axis at the lower end of the lower part. Since a roller blind arrangement is always mounted on the window sash or the window frame, especially in the case of roof windows, the problem with a desired shading of the entire glass region of the window is to divide it into two parts.
  • the present invention is based on the problem was considered to allow for a horizontal two-part window shading of the entire glass surface of the window.
  • each of the two guide rails is formed in two parts, an upper guide rail and a lower guide rail, the mutually end faces facing each other at the horizontal dividing line of the window, leaving a gap facing each other, and at least one of the end faces relative to the other end face is freely pivotable.
  • This design of the shutter assembly has, on the one hand, the advantage that on the one hand the continuous roller shutter with the window closed covers the entire window and on the other hand by the two-part trained guide rails, the cover of the upper wing is enabled in the open state. Another advantage is that the upper and lower wings of the window even with lowered shutter assembly, so while maintaining a complete shading, independently a gap can be opened. Moreover, the roller shutter, which is formed from the shutter bars, in a repair case by opening the wing as far as pulled out of the lower guide rails, that a roller shutter rod pushed out laterally and the shuttering armor can be shared.
  • the two rails are formed in the region of the gap complementary obliquely cut.
  • a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention is that in the upper guide rail, a switch is arranged such that the circuit for the roller shutter winding motor closes only when the window is closed. This prevents that runs through a faulty operation of the roller shutter from the split guide rails.
  • the switching contact can be actuated by a positioned on the lower window frame mechanical switching cam in a certain position.
  • a connector can be installed in the connection cable, which must be placed under the roofing.
  • a solar control can be integrated, which supplies the winding motor with the operating voltage via corresponding collectors and a control unit.
  • a driver shaft is provided, which in the lower region of the upper guide rails transversely between the upper Guide rails is arranged, and at each of whose ends a rotatable drive roller is mounted, which are guided in a respective guide groove parallel to the upper guide rails.
  • the driver shaft is held by a right and a left driver console, which are mounted on the window sash.
  • the drive shaft and the driver consoles form the lower storage of the complete shutter.
  • FIG. 1 shows a schematic overall view of a roller shutter arrangement according to the invention with the window sash open, with a roller shutter armor 6 guided in lateral guide rails 2, 4; which can be wound up and unwound on a winding shaft 8 at an end region of the window.
  • the lateral guide rails 2, 4 each open at one end in a roller shutter box 23, in which the winding shaft 8 is rotatably mounted for winding the roller shutter armor 6.
  • This winding shaft 8 is provided with an electric drive motor for winding the roller shutter armor 6.
  • Each of the two guide rails 2, 4 is in two parts in an upper guide rail 1, 3 and a lower guide rail 5, 7 formed such that their facing end faces 9, 11 are opposite to the horizontal parting line 10 of the window.
  • a driver shaft 14 is arranged transversely between the upper guide rails 1, 3.
  • This cam shaft 14 has at its ends 15, 16 in a manner not shown, but known manner depending on a rotatable cam follower 17, 18 which are guided in a respective guide groove 19, 20 parallel to the upper guide rails 1, 3.
  • the driver shaft 14 is held by a right and a left driver console 21, 22 which are mounted on the window sash.
  • the lower end portions of the lower guide rails 5, 7 are connected to each other via a connecting bar 24, which represents the end stop for the roller shutter 6 in the unwound state.
  • FIG. 2a shows a side view of the roller shutter arrangement according to FIG. 1 with a partial section in the region of the form-liquid connection between the two window wings in the opened state of the upper window sash.
  • Fig. 2b shows an enlarged partial section.
  • a mechanical switching cam 25 is positioned so that it sits under a safety limit switch 26.
  • the switching cam 25 must be adjusted in height so that the safety limit switch 26 switches easily with the wing closed.
  • the safety limit switch 26 allows the operation of the shutter assembly only when closed to prevent leakage of the tank from the split guide rails, by a misoperation.
  • Fig. 3 shows a schematic overall view of the shutter assembly according to the invention with the upper window sash closed.
  • Fig. 4a shows a side view of the shutter assembly of FIG. 3 with a partial section in the region of the positive connection between the two window sashes in the closed state of the upper window sash.
  • FIG. 4b shows an enlarged partial section of FIG. 4a.
  • the switch 13 closes the circuit for the roller shutter winding motor.
