Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for adjusting the volume a collar sack that is not completely filled with bulk material, the collar of which through two opposite, bent outwards, first border strips and two opposite, after is formed on the inside of the second edge strip, to which in bulk volume in the sack.
- the invention relates also an apparatus for performing this method and a sack that can be used here.
- valve bags are low dust leakage when filling and in the good Stacking / palletising.
- a valve bag often when filling with a bulk density fluctuating incompletely filled in if the bulk density increases.
- the consequence of the incomplete filling of the sack is Top air above the bulk material. By the enclosed Air makes the contents of the sack look spongy; safe palletizing and handling such sacks is not possible.
- the filling speed can be reduced significantly increase compared to that of a valve sack; however the dust leakage is considerable, if not special measures to be hit.
- the bag becomes larger after being filled with a bulk material Density and correspondingly lower filling volume than intended compressed over the bulk material and the bag length by cutting off the excess for secure closure necessary measure reduced. That way the filling volume customized sack is difficult to palletize since it is below a flat bottom, but generally wedge-shaped at the top is trained.
- DE 198 40 792.0 and 198 40 793.9 is a collar bag or a method and a device for transporting, Checking, filling and closing a collar bag known.
- This sack combines the advantages of the open sack and the Valve bags, because it is characterized by a large filling cross-section and the possibility of a dustproof seal during the filling process. Due to the partial closure even before filling, this sack is for a specific, not customizable volume designed. Therefore if the Bulk density rises above the intended value, too this sack is not completely filled. He can therefore after Closing disadvantageous handling properties like have the incompletely filled valve bag,
- the DE 198 40 793 A1 relates to methods and devices for transportation, Checking, filling and firing a sack.
- the sack points you to one rectangular cross section expandable bag body made of two wide first and two narrow second sack walls, one the sack body below closing bag bottom, a bag opening delimiting the top of the bag body and an open bag closure, the bag closure itself being the first Sealing flaps, each connecting to the first sack walls and perpendicular to the first sack walls horizontally from the sack opening stand out on the outside, second flaps, each on the second Connect the bag walls and fold them inwards onto the bag opening, lie horizontally so that the first flaps and the second Sealing flaps a frame-shaped lying in a horizontal plane Form a sealing collar, in which the outer regions of the first flap of drivable subsidies are kept.
- the present invention is based on the object a method for adjusting the volume of a filled collar bag to create the bulk volume contained in the sack, so that with this sack handling disadvantages due to incomplete Filling or a top air volume can be avoided. Furthermore, the closure should have good durability despite the Volume reduction or reduction in bag length achieved become.
- the advantages of the collar bag are said to the valve bag and the open bag are retained, i.e. a sack is to be created which, in addition to a large filling cross section and a dustproof seal when filling also reducing the bag volume to that actually contained filling volume allowed. Furthermore, despite the volume adjustment a bag that can be easily palletized. In particular should also cut off bag material and thus a loss of material can be avoided.
- a Device for adjusting the volume of a collar bag created be in a continuously working filling system can be integrated for collar bags.
- a new sack will be created that is in preparation for filling, for filling itself and for the following Handle process stages, especially when closing, well leaves.
- This sack should be designed so that it does not leak dust is fillable and the closure surfaces of the bag (by gluing or welding) not affected by layers of dust become.
- the sack should therefore be simple, preferably be well sealable on a flat surface.
- a sack is to be created, the volume of which is closed is adaptable to the actual filling volume.
- This task is carried out in the process mentioned at the beginning solved according to the invention in that the first edge strips pulls apart and sack wall from the top unfilled the remaining part of the sack pulls over the fold edges into the collar or the cross-section of the bag by pressing on the opposite one another larger sack wall parts reduced.
- the first edge strip is generally gripped in the middle of this. It is preferably at right angles to the central plane of the sack or to the one connected to the first edge strip Sack wall pulled apart. Other trigger angles are also possible.
- sack by cutting the supernatant becomes the unfilled one and therefore becomes a packaging redundant bag part reshaped into the bag collar so that this gains in width what the sack loses in length.
- the free cross section of the bag opening is reduced, and the initially empty bag volume disappears.
- the first edge strips are generally pulled apart in opposite directions.
- the closure is formed from the widened collar, which increased one compared to an un-widened collar Resilience and stability is maintained.
- the direction of the train generally forms one with the central plane of the sack An angle between 70 and 110 °, in particular an angle of 90 °
- This Material is preferably a multi-ply paper or a Plastic film.
- one connects after pulling the the first edge strips that lie one above the other in the four gussets first and second edge strip parts at least partially. So the filled, shortened sack according to the invention is partially closed, since only the one between the inner edges of the second Sack strips remaining, closed opening to close remains.
- This connection is expediently carried out on top of one another Edge strip parts through thermal activation one applied to the top of the first edge strips Hot melt adhesive. This activation can e.g. by lowering and pressing a heating plate by an infrared heater or the like. This connection can be used for bags made of plastic film done by welding.
- edge strips are expediently pulled apart glued for the purpose of bag closing, and a cover sheet is placed. This cover sheet serves to close the remaining bag opening cross-section.
- the first edge strips are then buckled or folded, glued and again folded and pressed.
- the edge strip In order to is a stable bag closure from the pulled-apart sack collar within that defined by the cross section of the bag Circumferentially formed.
- the reduction in cross section of the Sacks in that the pressure is progressively increased Squeezing the sack.
- the reduction in cross-section of the sack also levels out bulges of the large side walls, i.e. the Sack shape approximates the cuboid shape, which makes the sack better becomes stackable and palletizable.
- the squeezing is preferably effected through a vertically progressing, horizontal pressing zone. It is Of course, it is also possible to print flat on the two each other Exercise opposite sides of the bag, the surface pressure starts near the bottom of the sack and the pressing surface goes up increased.
- the object is achieved by a collar bag loosened its collar at the bag opening by two each other opposite first edge strips and two opposite one another second edge strip is formed by which the first edge strips outwards and the second edge strips are bent inwards (towards the opening), and the Transitions from a first to a second edge strip double-layer gussets are formed, the lower layers of which a first edge strip and its upper layers to a second Edge strips are connected.
- the one formed at the bag opening Collar can naturally have a different angular position to the sack walls.
- the collar can be especially in the different stages of the filling process different angular positions to the sack body, also from the horizontal position can deviate. Generally the top of the collar lies in one level.
- the sealing of the sack during filling takes place on the top of the sack collar.
- the sack collar can are formed by simple kinks at the opening edge. He can cause kinking, especially in sack production be educated, so that his lineup in the course of Preparation and filling of the sack is easily possible and can be done by appropriate mechanical guides.
- the two are Layers of the gusset unconnected and therefore against each other displaceable.
- the two layers of each gusset connected by common folded edges, their arrangement and lengths by attacking the first two edge strips, from the Bag opening away tensile forces are changeable.
- Pulling apart the first edge strips slide in the gussets the two layers of sack wall material on top of each other. Approach it the inner edges of the second edge strip, the bag opening drawn from their narrow sides except for a remaining opening becomes.
- the sack walls are over the fold edges pulled into the sack collar, whereby the sack loses length.
- the unconnected gusset layers are therefore a prerequisite for one sack adaptable to the actual filling volume.
- the Andes first edge strip attacking tensile forces and flexibility of the bag wall material are for the displacement of the four gusseted fold edges required and sufficient.
- Collar sacks have the first two edge strips on the top at least partially an activatable adhesive layer.
- the adhesive coating is used for this, which now e.g. is activated thermally, thereby the Gusset e.g. closed along the inner edge of the second edge strips become. This creates the connection from the inside of the bag cordoned off from the gusset so that only a small central bag opening has to be closed.
- the Both gusset layers already releasably connected from the production.
- a shift of the gusseted fold edges and the crease edges and then the shortening of the sack just described is then generally not possible if not the connection of the Gusset layers temporarily released due to the above-mentioned tensile stress and after the sack shortening in a different arrangement Activation can be restored.
- the activation expediently takes place through the action of heat and possibly pressure.
- the Collar bag according to the invention can be made of paper or plastic film consist.
- the collar bag widened at least one of the first two edge strips and are the gaps between this border strip and the top Layers of the connected gusset sealed by glued sheets.
- the connection of the inside of the closed bag with the outside atmosphere between the two layers of the gusset is blocked off in this way.
- the broadening of the first Edge strips can e.g. through a season cut of the multilayer Sack material can be achieved.
- One of the sack wall layers is then standing over the other sack wall layer (s) and thereby creates the Broadening. This widening is required to make the column through the laid sheet over its entire length and above can also be covered and thus a complete gap closure is possible.
- the widened first border strip, the upper layer of the neighboring one Gusset and the second edge strips on the top with an adhesive trace are provided.
- This adhesive track can, for example, by Heat or moisture can be activated so that the Collar after folding the first edge strips accordingly forms a tight seal.
- glue track can also by the bag closure by after Filling applied adhesive or by ultrasonic welding respectively.
- each gap is separated by a separate sheet caulk. If only a first edge strip is widened therefore two sheets are required to seal the two gaps; with widening of the first marginal strips on both sides are total four sealing sheets for sealing the gaps on all four Gusset required.
- a widened first edge strip can also be a single long one Step on the leaf that covers the two gaps on the edge strip and seals.
- the task is finally mentioned at the beginning Device according to the invention solved in that a) the holding and Means of transport with the first edge strips in and out of engagement can be brought and on their outer sides transversely to the transport direction movable gripping elements are provided or b) below the Holding and transport means pressure body are arranged.
- the shortening of the sack to the actual filling level can be in the filling station after filling with bulk material or preferably in a subsequent station before production of the closure.
- the first margins of the Bag collar must have a sufficient width for them sufficient outside of the holding and transport means Offer an area of attack for the gripping elements.
- To shorten the sack give the holding and transport means the first edge strips free after, during or before the gripping elements have captured these margins.
- the gripping elements then move apart and pull the excess sack wall into the collar.
- the opposing ones move Gripping elements laterally, preferably perpendicularly from the central plane of the bag path.
- the gripping elements can, however, after detection the first edge strip also parallel to the sack median plane be movable if appropriate facilities for the further deflection of the first edge strips are provided.
- this shortening of the sack can be done by lifting the sack by Shortening distance can be achieved by the gripper, especially at lower filling weights.
- the Holding and transport means a bag carrier vertically movable arranged, which takes up the bag weight.
- the traversing movements the gripping elements and the bag carrier synchronized and their strokes are essentially the same length.
- the lifting work is performed by the bag carrier, while the gripping elements only the (much lower) deformation work on the bag wall material Afford. It is thus avoided that the first edge strips damage when pulling apart if bags with higher filling weight shortened in the manner according to the invention become.
- the maximum stroke of a gripping element or bag carrier is equal to half the length of the first edge strip of the sack collar; through such a stroke, the bag opening through the second border strip as if through a two-part curtain drawn.
- the holding and transport means are preferably both Sides of the bag are each formed by a pair of ribbons that between takes up one of the first two edge strips.
- a volume of Belt pair preferably the upper belt can move vertically be so that the edge strip in the pair of bands for the purpose of holding and transport clamped or to shorten the sack Retraction of the unnecessary sack wall in the collar will be released can.
- Other means of transport than one another can also be used running pairs of belts can be used for bag transport.
- the invention Device are on the inside of both holding and transport means in the direction of transport Support rails arranged. These rails don't just offer a counter bearing when pressing the seal of the filler neck the bag cuff, but they also effect when shortening the bag an exact redirection of the bag wall material in the collar.
- the one of the actual level in the filled Sack dependent signal delivers that one to Use control of the stroke of the gripping elements or the bag carrier can.
- pneumatic limit actuated gripping elements maximum tractive force The pulling movement of the gripping elements then ends automatically, when the excess sack wall is pulled into the collar and the further trigger movement due to mechanical resistance Place the top of the bulk goods against the second ones that are bent inwards Edge strip comes to a stop.
- Device are the pressure body with the two sack wall parts engageable pair of pressure elements that are vertical and can be moved parallel to the bag axis.
- the to the sack axis vertical travel enables an adjustable reduction in cross-section of the sack, so that the empty volume initially present above the bulk level in the sack by the rising Bulk material is filled.
- the horizontal mutual distance of the two pressure elements is therefore determined by the height of the one to be eliminated Empty volume of the bag controlled, this height by a suitable sensor is found.
- the to the sack axis parallel movement of the pressure elements is required to to shift the bulk material in the sack and the progressing Total deformation of the bag.
- the pressure elements a pair of rotatably mounted rollers. hereby the sliding friction of the elements on the sack wall is avoided and these are less stressed when the bag is deformed.
- the device according to the invention is expedient assigned a heating device and / or a glue application device.
- the hot-melt adhesive strips can be drawn through the heating device activated on the verge and the gusset layers be glued together.
- the glue application device enables the application of an adhesive for attaching a cover sheet and for the production of the bag lock.
- FIG. 1 shows a sack 1 of rectangular cross section, the collar 3 surrounding the opening 2 of which consists of two opposite, longer edge strips 5, which are bent around the fold edges 4 and two opposite, shorter edge strips 7 which are bent inwards about the fold edges 6 , Between the edge strips 5 and 7, double-layered gussets 8 are formed by the folding around the folded edges 9. The layers connected to the edge strips 5 and 7 and forming the gusset 8 are not connected to one another over the surface, in particular are not glued. Their only connection is via the folded edges 9.
- the sack 1 stands on a sack carrier 10 which can be raised vertically in accordance with the sack shortening to be carried out.
- this device comprises an angled guide rail 11 on each side of the bag body, on which the first edge strips 5 and the gusset 8 rest on the inside.
- a pair of conveyor belts 12 a , 12 b each of which is guided over rollers, adjoins the guide rails 11, of which one conveyor belt 12 a is arranged below the edge strip 5 and the other conveyor belt 12 b is arranged above the edge strip 5.
- the upper transport bands 12 b can be brought, by lowering the edge strips 5 in clamping engagement, so that the collar bag horizontally example, may be advanced in the direction of transport 21st
- horizontally movable gripping elements 13 are arranged which, as shown, engage the edge strips 5 and can pull them apart in the direction of the arrow when the conveyor belts 12 b are not in engagement with the edge strips 5.
- the pulling apart of the edge strips 5 brings about a shortening of the sack, the fold edges 4, 6 moving in the direction of the bag bottom and the inner edges of the second edge strips 7 moving toward one another.
- FIG. 1 shows cross-hatched the hot-melt adhesive layer 5 a on the sack collar 3, which is located in the area of the edge strips 5 on the top side and in the area of the edge strips 7 on the underside in a zone adjacent to or near the edge x.
- FIG. 2 a shows a filled collar bag 1.
- the sack is not completely filled, so that a shortening takes place, as shown in Figure 2 b).
- the edge strips 5 are widened outwards, the bag carrier 10 was raised the same distance. Doing so too the second edge strips 7 widened, and has the opening 2 shrinks.
- stage 2 c) is on the opening 2 and the edge strips 5 and 7 a cover sheet 14 placed after the edge strips 5 were previously glued.
- stage 2 d the first edge strips 5 turned over to the top and glued to the closure formation shown.
- the first edge strips 5 are significantly wider pulled apart and the bag carrier 10 is correspondingly higher raised than with the sack of Figure 2.
- This has the Inner edges of the second edge strip 7 very close, and the remaining opening 2 is relatively small.
- stage shown is a cover sheet on the remaining opening 2 14 glued on.
- the first edge strips were then 5th turned inside over the cover sheet 14 ( Figure 3 d). Then the first edge strips were turned over again and glued, so that the same form of closure as in Figure 2 d).
- FIG. 4 a corresponds to the Representation in Figure 3 c), but with a cover sheet 14 glued that not only covers the remaining bag opening 2, but to the outer edge of the protruding first edge strip 5 is sufficient.
- This sack can then be analog Figures 3 d) and 3 e) a bag closure are formed. If you open this bag lock by doing so Figure 4 b) the closure strip folds outwards and on the edge 15 cuts off, there is a discharge opening 16, such as can be seen from Figure 4 c). By folding the outside out folded edge strip 5, the bag can be odor-proof again be closed.
- FIGS. 5 and 6 show the station of a filling and closing machine for collar bags, in which the bag volume is adjusted to the actual volume.
- the sack 1 stands on a sack carrier 10 which is attached to a carriage 17.
- the carriage 17 is vertically movable in a carriage guide 17 a .
- the longer edge strips 5 of the sack collar are bent outwards at right angles and clamped between a pair of bands 12 a , 12 b , whereby the sack 1 can be moved in the transport direction (perpendicular to the plane of the drawing).
- a gripping element 13 is provided, which is shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 with the edge strip 5 out of engagement.
- the gripping elements 13 can be closed, whereby they come into engagement with the outer edge of the edge strip 5. So that synchronously or shortly thereafter, the upper pressure bands 12 b are raised so that they release the edge strips 5.
- the edge strips 5 can then be pulled apart in opposite directions by means of the gripping elements 13, the collar deformation shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 from stage a) to stage b) taking place.
- the gripping elements 13 move apart, the lifting movement of the carriage 17 is coupled to the sack carrier 10, so that the sack weight is absorbed by the carrier 10 and the pneumatic gripping elements 13 only have to perform the lower sack material deformation.
- three ultrasonic sensors 18 are arranged, which determine the actual filling level of the bulk material in the sack, so that the drives of the gripping elements 13 and the sack carrier 10 can be controlled by way of path.
- FIG. 7 shows a device in a schematic representation for reducing the cross section of a sack 1, of which only one pair of rollers 22 is shown as a pressure body on the two themselves act opposite large side surfaces 23 of the bag.
- the rotatably mounted rollers 22 are horizontal in the direction of Arrows 24 can be moved so that through them the sack 1 except for one desired distance of the side wall surfaces 23 are compressed can.
- the pair of rollers 22 is according to the arrows 25 vertically movable, as from their different positions can be seen in Figures 7 a) to c). This is done via the side walls 23 progressively from bottom to top Squeezing and thus volume reduction of the bag 1, so that the Bulk fill the bag completely.
- each roller 22 has a drive for the vertical movement of the roller and one from a level sensor controlled drive for horizontal movement accordingly the arrow 24 includes.
- Figure 8 shows the embodiment of the collar bag in which one of the first two edge strips 5 by a staggered cut Widening 5 'has experienced such that one of the sack wall layers survives the other (s).
- This makes it possible to sheets 27 so placed on the edge strip 5,5 'and the upper layer of the gusset 8 hang up and glue or weld on that the gap 28th between the top of the edge strip 5 and the top layer of the Gusset 8 is completely covered and sealed. So that is with closed bag 1 the air connection between the two layers the gusset 8 shut off.
- FIG. 9 corresponds to FIG. 8, but the one that can be activated Adhesive track 29 is shown cross-hatched. As can be seen the adhesive track runs on the widening 5 'over the adjacent gusset 8, the inwardly folded second edge strips 7 and the further gusset 8 which is remote from the widening 5 '. As can be seen by folding in a first edge strip 5 and then folding in the other widened first Edge strip 5.5 'of the bag to be sealed.
- the "crease edge" in the sense of the present invention is at Bags made of plastic film also have a bending edge with a bending radius of about 1 cm or less.
