Definitions
- the present invention relates to a novel sorter according to the Preamble of claim 1.
- Such sorting plants for the separation of for the production of paper, Cardboard u.
- Provided fiber, in particular wood material from disruptive Particulate contaminants are in various embodiments become known and are used worldwide in the paper industry.
- Sorters are known in which blades arranged on a rotor in Have an aircraft wing similar cross-sectional shape, which starts from a bulge-like curve in the direction of rotation, backwards converges and ends in a narrow, teardrop shape. These wings extend are in the form of strips and have a length corresponding to the rotor or sieve basket Length on. In general, a cylindrical rotor is provided. Both known sorters is that for the passage of the fiber particle suspension provided screen basket facing surface of the wing in the way curved that the radial distance between the functional Wing surface and the facing screen basket surface in the leading area of the Wing first reduced to a minimum.
- sorters In addition to the state of the art, there are two basic types of sorters exist, namely on the one hand sorters with one from the inside Sorting material suspension for loadable sieve basket and within the sieve basket horizontal blades, so “centrifugal sorter”, and on the other hand with sorter rotating outside the strainer basket and the same a short distance outside sweeping wings, with these so-called “centripetal sorters” the goods to be sorted are fed to the screen basket from the outside and the removal of the cleaned fiber suspension from the inside.
- the rotary shaft of the rotor carries wings in the inlet-side or upper area of the strainer basket, such as a star or disc-shaped carrier with downwardly projecting projections on which the wings rotating around the strainer basket are attached.
- the present invention is based on the observation that the previously usual design of the screen-near surface of the wing in the form of a Wing area, in particular in the leading area of the wing intended reduction in distance between sash and strainer, neither from fluidic and energetic view still with regard to effectiveness of Separation process, throughput quantities and separation performance is optimal.
- the invention thus relates to a sorter as described at the beginning, the by the features stated in the characterizing part of claim 1 is characterized.
- the wings arranged and designed according to the invention practice their entire length and extension in the direction of rotation, i.e. over the entire surface, in the Fibrous suspension a relative to their other pressurization in the Housing of the sorter lower pressure or "negative pressure". With that the Suck back on a part of the already through the openings of the strainer passed fiber suspension increased, and there is a Backwashing through the openings in the strainer basket. Thanks to the improved take-off of the retained impurities improves the separation behavior and the separation performance of the sorters according to the invention. By the staggered The arrangement of the individual wings is practically at any time at any point swirling of the strainer basket and thus cleaning of the strainer basket surface. In the case of a rotary paraboloidal rotor, the flow from Entry can be managed cheaply.
- the run-up area or the leading area of the wing includes practically no or only a small angle with the minimally spaced screen basket surface. Because of this, a high backwashing rate and an effective lifting of particle material from the screen basket surface can be achieved within the ranges of the intended angles due to an increased suction effect.
- the curvature of the surface of the wing facing the strainer basket is important for the desired backwashing or the suction effect. It has been shown that an improved degree of backwashing can be achieved if different curvatures are formed in the front and rear areas of the individual wing in the direction of rotation, i.e. when the features of claim 5 are realized, the choice of different curvatures for the different areas of the the wing surface facing the screen basket allows a good adaptation of the wing surface to different operating conditions and material compositions. In this context, the features of claim 15 are also advantageous.
- the rotor itself can be made in one piece.
- one Be embodiment in which a plurality of individual rotor modules to a rotor any axial extent are composed, as in claim 13 is specified.
- the invention further relates to a wing according to the preamble of claim 16.
- a wing according to the preamble of claim 16.
- the conventional wings it is to be regarded as a disadvantage that they are solid and heavy, in particular because these wings are of wing-shaped cross section.
- the wings mentioned are characterized according to the invention by the features stated in the characterizing part of claim 16. With such a structure of the wings, it becomes possible to manufacture the wings in a lightweight construction and to give the wings the desired shape in a simple manner, and to adapt them to different purposes.

- an essentially rotationally paraboloidal or conical or cylindrical rotor 300 is rotatably mounted on a shaft 381 driven by a motor 6 about a vertical axis of rotation a3.
- webs 382 extend, in particular radially, each of which has a wing 3 which can be guided past the inner surface 20 of the screen basket 2 at its end near the screen basket.
- the sorted material fed in under pressure through the inlet 51 arrives here in the interior 200 of the screen basket 2, which is increasingly narrow in its cross section due to the paraboloidal shape of the rotor 300.
- the accepted material, comprising the fine-fiber, contamination-free material, is removed under the effect of the the fiber suspension introduced pressure is pressed through the openings 204 of the screen basket 2 to the outside into the interior 500 of the housing 5 surrounding the screen basket 2, from which the suspension is discharged via the outlet 52.
- the openings 204 of the sieve basket 2 are dimensioned such that the foreign material particles contained in the sorting material suspension, such as glass fragments, coarser sand particles, small stones, metal particles or the like, remain in the sieve basket 2, in particular on its inner surface 20 in the area of the passage openings 204 concerns. Without appropriate countermeasures, the openings 204 would become clogged and the passage of the fine-fiber, fine-particle suspension free of foreign particles would be prevented.
- the known wing 3 are aircraft wing-like cross-section approximately and their direction of rotation dr trailing portion 33 of its outer surface 30 exerts, due to its increasing distance from the inner surface 20 of the screen basket 2 a suction to the suspension of.
- the sorter 100 shown in FIG. 3 operates according to the working principle of the sorter 100 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the inverse principle.

- the separation of Acceptable substances and impurities take place in the same way as in connection with the Fig.1 and 2 described.
- the sorter 3 'having the structure of the sorter 3' is essentially approximately designed wing-shaped and show the above-discussed disadvantages of increased Energy consumption and less than optimal backwashing and therefore less effective cleaning of the strainer basket 2 or exposure of the openings 204.
- the schematic drawing according to FIG. 4 shows a part of the screen basket 2 with its through openings 204 for the accept material suspension.
- the radial distance ar of the surface 30 of the wing 3 near the strainer basket from the inner surface 20 of the strainer basket 2 changes over the length of the wing 3.
- the wing 3, which is wing-like in cross section, has a relatively large radial distance at its front edge 310 and / or in the foremost run-on area 31 arv on. Between this run-up area 31 of the wing 3 and a relatively narrow central zone 32, the radial distance ar decreases to a minimum distance arm.
- the radial distance ar from the zone 32 to the rear region 33 or to the end edge 330 increases to a maximum value arh.
- a pressure build-up extends to the zone 32 when the wing 3 is moved in the direction of rotation dr. Only in the wake area 33, in which the distance between the surface 30 and the surface 20 of the screen basket 2 increases, is the suction effect important for the backwashing of the impurities created.
- the wing 3 is formed on the inside with a flat surface 3001.
- FIG. 5 in a sectional view, arranged according to the invention and formed wing 3 has one of the cylindrical surface 20 of the Screen basket 2 facing convexly curved outer surface 30.
- the wing 3 is plate-shaped, e.g. from a sheet or plastic material with constant thickness or material thickness ms, formed.
- the inner surface 3001 runs parallel to or have the outer surface 30 both surfaces 30 and 3001 have the same curvature.
- the thickness of the wing 3 is in practice about 5 to 6 mm, the diameter the screen basket 2 is usually 400 to 3000 mm, its height is about 500 up to 1500 mm.
- FIG. 5 are three examples of a preferred one Design of the front edge 310 of the wing 3 can be removed, the end face according to a) rectangular cross-section, according to b) a similar one Cross-sectional shape with rounded edges 3101 and one according to sketch c) Rounding 3102 shows.
- the wing 3 according to the invention which differs significantly from the wings according to the prior art, is positioned relative to the course of the facing surface 20 of the screen basket 2 in such a way that the surface 30 of the wing 3 extends ever further from its front edge 310 to the end edge 330 20 removed or the radial distance ar increases from front to back.
- the smallest radial distance arv is at the front edge 310, the maximum distance arh at the rear end edge 330.
- the radius of curvature rsk of the surface 20 of the screen basket 2 is greater than each of the two radii of curvature rf1 and rf2 of the leading region 31 and the trailing region 33 of the surface 30 of the wing 3.

- a tangential plane etf applied directly in the area of the front edge 310 to the front area 31 includes an acute angle ⁇ of a few degrees with the radially corresponding tangential plane ets , which is determined by the radius rf1 of the curvature in the area of the front edge 310.
- the radial distance ar of the surface 30 increases continuously from the minimum distance arv to a maximum distance arh , and this "inclination" of the wing 3 with respect to the direction of rotation dr or relative to the strainer basket 2 is the suction effect effective for backwashing during the movement of the wing 3 relative to the strainer basket 2 ensured over the entire wing extension in the direction of rotation dr .
- the radius rf1 of the curvature of the front region 31 of the surface 30 is smaller than the radius rf2 of the curvature in the trailing region 33, a transition region being provided in the intermediate zone 32 between the two different curvatures.
- An edge approximately following the course of a generatrix of the surface 30 between the more curved run-up region 31 and the less strongly curved outlet region 33 of the surface 30 is not desirable.
- the described change in the degree of curvature over the course of the Wing 3 brings advantageous changes in the flow conditions and leads to favorable pressure changes in the suspension.
- the curvatures are preferably circular cylindrical, but can also be oval or elliptical.
- curvature of the surface 30 of the screen basket Wing 3 in its front or leading region 31 by 5 to 20%, preferably by 10 to 15%, greater than the curvature of the facing Surface 20 of the strainer basket 2 and if the curvature of the surface near the strainer basket 30 of the wing 3 in its trailing area 33 by 0 to 9%, preferably by 0 to 4%, greater than the curvature of the surface 30 of the screen basket 2.
- Fig. 6 shows schematically the screen basket 2 of a centripetal sorter with the outside the screen basket 2 rotating wings 3 'with surfaces 30', which have a smaller Have curvature as the outer surface 20 'of the screen basket 2 and with it convex surface 30 'of the outer surface 20' of the screen basket 2 are facing.
- dashed lines indicate that the curvature of the wing 3 'in front area 31 'may also be "infinite" in size, i.e. that the angle ⁇ at the end edge 310 could assume the limit value 0 °.
- FIG. 7 shows a rotor 300 with a height offset from one another, wings zig-zag-shaped, designed according to the invention 3.
