Description
The present invention relates to a hatch cover perfected, more specifically a panel hatch as used mainly in inland navigation vessels to close the space at cargo.
It is known to cover the cargo space of boats with hatches that extend from a rim of the goods compartment to opposite edge of the goods compartment, several hatch covers of this type to be arranged next to each other to cover all the space cargo.
It is also known to cover the cargo space of boats with a hood that is made up of a panel of hatch covering cargo space and two pillars corner brackets attached to two opposite ends of this panel by means of rivets in mortises and in slits. Corners pillars rest on rails, being present in the corridor of passage of people. Hoods are constructed so that they can slide telescopically one below or above the other giving a set which is massive and occupies the corridor of passage of workers. The disadvantages of such constructions by their Extents are difficult to handle.
These known hatches have edges which extend over the edges of the compartment merchandise.
Since a boat undergoes deformations under the influence of atmospheric conditions, under the influence of loading and the like it is habitual, even fundamental, to ensure that hatch covers can expand with their free ends up to a distance of a few centimeters in front of the compartment edges goods to allow the compartment goods to deform freely, in others terms to make sure that the edges of the cargo compartment can flex freely over a distance of a few centimeters towards outside, and respectively inward, without be prevented by the hatch covers, or without give the hatch panels the possibility of being thus damaged.
In addition, to ensure that a boat can be loaded and unloaded in the most efficient way possible, we widen as much as possible the openness giving access to the cargo space, so that the runway next to this opening becomes very narrow.
Especially in the case of container ships in which the cargo space should not be closed with a hatch cover, the gangway is limited to legal minimum, so that the opening of access to the cargo space remains maximum.
However, when such a container ship must carry another load, it may turn out necessary to hermetically close the space to cargo with hatch covers, so that the width of the corridor between the free ends the aforementioned hatch covers and the side external of the boat is reduced beyond the width admitted when one wishes to maintain the access opening to the cargo space as large as possible.
Because of the deformations that the boat undergoes, it is not not possible to make the panels of hatches so that their ends come to be arranged against the edges of the compartment ship goods, which would amount to getting maximum width of the corridor, as huge tensions would be exerted in the panel hatch when the boat is not loaded and / or the ends of the hatch covers would protrude beyond the edges of the goods compartment to the loaded state of the boat.
The present invention relates to a panel improved hatch that helps solve the aforementioned problem as well as others.
For this purpose, the invention relates to a panel improved hatch which is made up of at least two parties that are able to move one by relation to each other in the longitudinal direction of the hatch panel, so that we can adapt the length of this hatch cover at distance separating the ledges of the cargo compartment from a boat.
Preferably, one of the aforementioned parts of a panel hatch of this type is formed by a plate, while the other part is formed by an element sliding which is fixed on the aforementioned plate.
More preferably, a hatch cover of this type according to the invention is provided with two sliding elements which respectively have a folded edge towards the bottom, each sliding element being connected to the plate mentioned above by means of guiding means on the one hand, and using means of adjustment on the other hand.
In a particular embodiment, a panel hatch according to the invention will be made of such so that it goes up in thickness towards the center and therefore presents a cam, while the plate is contoured so that we obtain drainage ditches at intervals regular, whose height gradually decreases from the hatch panel cam to the two extremities of the latter.
In Figure 1, it is very schematically represented a hatch cover 1 according to the invention which is applied on the edges of the cargo compartment 2 - 3 of a boat 4, more specifically a boat of Inland navigation.
A côté de chaque rebord 2 - 3 du compartiment marchandises, on prévoit traditionnellement une coursive 5, respectivement 6 qui sont chacune formées par le pont à côté de ces rebords 2 - 3 du compartiment marchandises et qui, de manière plus spécifique, sont délimitées, d'une part par un des rebords précités 2 - 3 du compartiment marchandises et, d'autre part par la paroi externe 7 du bateau 4.Next to each ledge 2 - 3 of the compartment goods, it is traditionally course 5, respectively 6 which are each formed by the bridge next to these 2 - 3 flanges of the compartment goods and which, more specifically, are delimited, on the one hand by one of the aforementioned ledges 2 - 3 of the goods compartment and, on the other hand, outer wall 7 of the boat 4.
plaque 8.The hatch cover 1, in this form of
realization, is constituted by a
pratiquée dans l'élément coulissant 12.As shown in detail in Figure 2, the
compartiment marchandises.The
boulon coopérant avec un trou taraudé correspondant 22.The improved hatch panel is also equipped
adjustment means which consist, on the one hand,
by a series of
The
The use of the improved hatch panel 1 according to the invention is very simple and is as indicated hereinafter.
After placing a hatch cover 1 on the
ledges 2 - 3 of the goods compartment for the purpose
to condemn the access opening 25 to the space of
cargo, we turn the
When it is desired to remove the hatch cover 1,
for example for loading or unloading the
boat 4, we unscrew the
Even if, when loading, respectively
unloading, the boat 4, the distance between
12 comprenant un bord replié vers le bas 17.FIG. 3 shows a variant form of
realization of an improved hatch cover 1
according to the invention, in which the
The
The use of hatches according to the figure 3 is analogous to their use in the first embodiment, with this difference that in the case of the second embodiment, moreover large differences in the spacing between two ledges 2 - 3 of the cargo compartment, which come from the deformations of the boat 4, can be overtaken.
Figures 4 to 11 show a third form of completion of an improved hatch panel according to the invention.
dernier.This alternative embodiment is constituted
mainly a
compartiment marchandises du bateau 4.Below the
profilé à chaque extrémité 29 - 30.Between two
Les éléments coulissants précités 31 et 32 s'étendent
jusque devant la plaque 26, le bord 38, respectivement
39, de l'élément coulissant 31 - 32 étant replié vers
le bas.The aforementioned
On the
rainure périphérique pratiquée dans le boulon 43.Through each
correspondant 35.Faced with the
- 32.In addition, over the entire width of the hatch cover

The operation of the improved hatch panel 1 as shown in Figures 4 to 11, is similar to the operation as described above of the second embodiment of the panel hatch 1 according to the invention.
The
It is clear that by the present invention, we obtain
an improved hatch cover 1 by which the
dimensions of the
