Dabei sollte insbesondere bei Feuchtwalzen erreicht werden, dass bei gleichbleibend guter Feuchtmittelübertragung die Intervalle zwischen den Reinigungsvorgängen deutlich vergrößert und somit die mit der Reinigung verbundenen Kosten erheblich gesenkt werden können. Diese Aufgabe konnte überraschend dadurch gelöst werden, dass dem Bezugsmaterial fluoriertes Polyolefin zugesetzt wird.
Das elastomere oder elastische Kunststoffmaterial kann zudem übliche Zusätze wie Füllstoffe, Antioxidantien, Weichmacher etc., sowie funktionelle Zusätze wie Substanzen mit funktionellen chemischen Gruppen enthalten. Bei letzteren kann es sich beispielsweise um Substanzen zur Einstellung der Hydrophilie der Walzenoberfläche handeln, z.B. um mono-, oligo- oder polymere Substanzen mit hydrophilen Gruppen, beispielsweise Hydroxyl-, Carboxyl-, Carboxylat-, Amido-, Silanol-, Sulfonsäure- und/oder Sulfonat-Gruppen. Diese und andere funktionelle Zusätze können in das Kunststoffmaterial des Bezuges eingemischt oder z.B. durch Copolymerisation oder polymeranaloge Umsetzung etc. reaktiv eingebunden sein. In einer besonderen Ausführungsform kann das Bezugsmaterial auch polymere Substanzen enthalten, die funktionelle, insbesondere hydrophile Gruppen sowie Fluoralkylgruppen aufweisen.
Claims (10)
- Walze mit einem Bezug aus einem elastomeren oder elastischen Kunststoffmaterial auf Basis von Kautschuk, elastischem Thermoplast, thermoplastischem Elastomer, gießfähigen Polyurethansystemen oder Mischungen dieser Komponenten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das elastomere oder elastische Kunststoffmaterial fluoriertes Polyolefin enthält.
- Walze gemäß Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Bezug aus einer, zwei oder mehreren Schichten aufgebaut ist, wobei zumindest die Oberflächenschicht das fluorierte Polyolefin enthält.
- Walze gemäß Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das fluorierte Polyolefin als Pulver oder Faser vorliegt und der Anteil des fluorierten Polyolefins im elastomeren oder elastischen Kunststoffmaterial des Bezugs 0,5 bis 25 Gew.-%, bevorzugt 5 bis 10 Gew.-% beträgt.
- Walze gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als fluoriertes Polyolefin fluoriertes Polyethylen, Polypropylen oder Ethylenpropylencopolymer verwendet wird.
- Walze nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als fluoriertes Polyolefin perfluoriertes Polyolefin, vorzugsweise Polytetrafluorethylen eingesetzt wird.
- Walze nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass für das elastomere oder elastische Kunststoffmaterial als Kautschuk insbesondere NR, NBR, HNBR, XNBR, IIR, SBR, CR, CM, CSM, ACM, ECO, EPM, EPDM, PUR oder Silikonkautschuk und als elastischer Thermoplast insbesondere PVC eingesetzt wird.
- Walze nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als elastomeres oder elastisches Kunststoffmaterial NBR, CR, PU oder PVC, vorzugsweise mit einer Härte im Bereich von 15 bis 45 Shore A eingesetzt wird.
- Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Walze nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Walzenkern mit einem Bezug aus einem elastomeren oder elastischen Kunststoffmaterial auf Basis von Kautschuk, elastischem Thermoplast, thermoplastischem Elastomer, gießfähigen Polyurethansystemen oder Mischungen dieser Komponenten versehen wird, wobei der Walzenkern aus einem metallischen Material oder einem insbesondere Glasfaser- oder Carbonfaser-verstärkten Kunststoffmaterial besteht und das elastomere oder elastische Kunststoffmaterial fluoriertes Polyolefin enthält.
- Verwendung einer Walze gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7 als Feuchtwalze in Offsetdruckmaschinen.
- Verfahren zur Verbesserung der farb- oder medienabweisenden Eigenschaften eines Walzenbezuges aus elastomerem oder elastischem Kunststoffmaterial auf Basis von Kautschuk, elastischem Thermoplast, thermoplastischem Elastomer, gießfähigen Polyurethansystemen oder Mischungen dieser Komponenten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass dem elastomeren oder elastischen Kunststoffmaterial fluoriertes Polyolefin, vorzugsweise fluoriertes Ethylen-Propylen-Copolymer oder Polytetrafluorethylen zugesetzt wird.
