Definitions

  • the innovation relates to a gas high-pressure fire extinguishing system, in which the gaseous extinguishing agent is stored under high pressure in one or more gas cylinders, each gas cylinder is provided with a quick opening valve.
  • EP 0 666 087 A1 describes a fire extinguishing system with a bottle battery comprising a plurality of high-pressure gas cylinders.
  • the first bottle of the bottle battery is designed as a pilot or pilot bottle and is set up so that it opens the successor bottles with its gas.
  • the successor bottles are each provided with a directly controlled piston valve, wherein the control line emanating from the control valve opens in branch lines to the following bottle valves or into a manifold. From the cylinder valves discharge lines are each led to the manifold. Pressure reducing devices are not available.
  • High-pressure fire extinguishing systems are currently operated with an extinguishing agent stored at 200 bar in high-pressure gas cylinders.
  • the storage of the extinguishing agent under high pressure takes place for economic reasons.
  • High-pressure gas cylinders for an extinguishing system require less space than an extinguishing system with low-pressure gas cylinders. Such is for example with m 2 basis prices of DM 6,000, - and more in office towers each saved m 2 a profit.
  • the number of bottles, compared to the low-pressure gas cylinders can be significantly reduced. With fewer gas cylinders, transportation, installation and maintenance costs are significantly reduced.
  • extinguishing nozzles with a gaseous extinguishing agent at a pressure of 200 bar is uneconomical and also dangerous if the extinguishing agent exits the extinguishing nozzles with the high pressure.
  • the extinguishing agent was reduced behind the header pipe to a pressure of 60 bar or less. This also made the pipe network and extinguishing nozzles more economical.
  • test pressure of 750 bar is required for safety reasons, in particular cause the plant parts of the quick-opening valve up to and including the operating pressure reducing device in the production of high costs.
  • the innovation is based on the object to convert the storage of the gaseous extinguishing agent by the use of very simple means of 200 bar to 300 bar in a gas high-pressure fire extinguishing system.
  • This object is achieved in that an additional upstream pressure reducing device is provided between the quick-opening valve and the manifold.
  • the high-pressure mass discharge from a high-pressure gas cylinder to a low-level system pressure is minimized by the additional early pressure reducing device immediately after the quick-opening valve. So becomes the For example, the gas pressure in the first stage is reduced from 300 bar to 200 bar and the quenching gas enters the high-pressure manifold at this reduced pressure. In the pressure reducing device, the gas pressure is reduced from 200 bar to 60 bar or less in the second stage. From the manifold, the previous "200 bar - technology" can be used without modification, but with the exception that an additional safety device for pressures above 240 bar to install.
  • a guided to the outside extension pipe is preferably provided at the end facing away from the extinguishing nozzle, in which a safety device, such as a rupture disk or a safety valve, is installed.
  • This safety device must be sufficiently dimensioned to ensure that in case of failure, the gas mass flow safely reaches the outside. The resulting radiance can still by atomization, redirection or the like. be minimized.
  • the early additional pressure reduction can be done immediately after the quick opening valve or immediately before the manifold. This pressure reduction takes place by a change in cross section by means of a throttle plate with a bore of preferably 10 mm in diameter. This calculated hole is adapted to the extinguishing system adapted to the purpose.
  • the early pressure reduction by means of one of the throttling devices has the further advantage that it dispenses with the high-pressure manifold in a single-range fire extinguishing system and for a low-pressure manifold can be used. Because in this case, the pressure reduction takes place before the manifold from 200 bar to 60 bar or less. For this pressure, a high-pressure manifold is not required. As a result, The extinguishing agent can be performed without further pressure reduction directly to the extinguishing nozzles.
  • the previously known gas high pressure fire extinguishing systems are operated with a so-called "200 bar - technology".
  • the gas cylinders for the extinguishing agent are filled with a gas pressure of 200 bar.
  • the quick-opening valves, the connecting hoses, the manifold and the distributor lines with the range valves, including the pressure reducing device had to be designed costly for an operating pressure of 240 bar and a test pressure of 750 bar.
  • the gas cylinders 2 to 4 of the multi-zone system 1 with the quick-opening valves 5 to 7 are filled with a gas pressure of 300 bar.
  • Either the quick-opening valves 5 to 7 are provided with pressure reducing means 25 to 27 or the high-pressure collecting pipe 11 with pressure reducing means 28 to 30. Only one of the two pressure reducing devices, ie 25 or 28 - see Figure 2, is installed.
  • the quick-opening valves 5-7 are connected to the manifold 11.
  • Distributor lines 12 to 14 to the multi-port valves 15 to 17 with the pressure reducing devices 18 to 20 and the extinguishing lines 21 to 23 with the extinguishing nozzles 24 adjoin the manifold 11.
  • a guided through the hall roof 41 in the open extension line 38 is connected, in which a disc holder 40 is installed with a rupture disc 39 as a safety device.
  • the quick-opening valves 5 to 7 are described using the example of the quick-opening valve 5 according to FIG.
  • the quick-opening valve 5 consists of a valve body 43 which is screwed by means of a lower threaded bore 44 on the neck 45 of the gas cylinder 2.
  • a control piston 46 with a piston plate 47 and a sealing plate 48 with seal 49 is installed inside the valve body 43.
  • springs 50 By means of springs 50, the sealing plate 48 is pressed against the seal 49 and thus the quick-opening valve 5 is kept closed.
  • a Upper inlet opening 51 is closed by means of a valve cap 52 with connecting piece 53 for a control line 55.
  • an outlet bore 54 is provided for the extinguishing agent in the valve body 43, which merges into a nozzle 31.
  • a throttle plate 33 is installed with a bore.
  • the connecting hose 8 is connected to the quick-opening valve 5.
  • the above-described parts 31, 33 and 35 form the throttle device 25.
  • the throttle device 28 is connected to the high-pressure manifold 11 and consists of the nozzle 32 and the connector 36 for attaching the other end of the connecting tube 8.
  • In the nozzle 32 is a bore provided with a throttle disk 34 and a check valve 42 installed.
  • a fire alarm panel (BMZ) 56 is provided, to which on the one hand from a fire detector 58 outgoing control line 57 and on the other hand connected to the quick opening valve 5 control line 55 are connected.
  • the gaseous extinguishing agent is stored at 300 bar in the gas cylinders 2 to 4.
  • the quick opening valves 5 are closed.
  • the fire alarm 58, the BMZ 56 is controlled and exerted from there via the control line 55, a pressure on the piston plate 47 of one or more quick-opening valves 5-7. Consequently, the piston plate 47 is pressed after overcoming the spring pressure of the spring 50 down and thus open the controlled quick-opening valve 5-7.
  • the extinguishing agent - depending on which throttle device is installed flows either through the throttle device 25 or 28, wherein it is reduced to 200 bar, into the manifold 11th and on to the pressure reducers 18-20.
  • the pressure of the extinguishing agent is reduced a second time to 60 bar or less. With this pressure, the extinguishing agent passes through the low pressure pipe network 21-23 to the extinguishing nozzles 24th
  • the distribution lines 13, 14 with the area valves 16, 17, the pressure reduction devices 19, 20 and the extinguishing lines 22, 23 with the extinguishing nozzles 24 are omitted.
  • the extinguishing agent is removed from the high-pressure collecting pipe 11 only via the distribution line 12 with the range valve 15 and the pressure reducing device 18 through the discharge line 21 to the extinguishing nozzles 24 out.
  • the manifold 11 can be formed as compared to the previous systems as low-pressure manifold, the pressure reducing means 25 reduces the pressure of the gaseous extinguishing agent from 200 bar to 60 bar or less. In this case eliminates the costly high-pressure pressure reducing device 18 and the expensive high-pressure manifold.
