Definitions
- the invention relates to a urination device according to Preamble of claim 1 as e.g. from bedridden and / or incontinent people is used.
- a urination device which essentially consists of a longer urine line, at one end a drainless urine collection bag is arranged, while at the other end a catheter or a external urine collection device, e.g. a condom-like urine catcher for men or a urine collection funnel for women is closed.
- a catheter or a external urine collection device e.g. a condom-like urine catcher for men or a urine collection funnel for women is closed.
- a catheter or a external urine collection device e.g. a condom-like urine catcher for men or a urine collection funnel for women is closed.
- a catheter or a external urine collection device e.g. a condom-like urine catcher for men or a urine collection funnel for women is closed.
- the valveless bag must be at Drains are unplugged. It can therefore flow into the bag Urine from improper handling of the device also only in a preferably vertical orientation, i.e. practically while standing, is usable, flow out.
- the "urinal" described in U.S. Patent 4,121,306 consists of a relatively long, slender, funnel-shaped collecting body, with a wedge stand for inclined installation e.g. in the Bed. There is a long hose at the narrow funnel outlet end attached, which leads into a urine container, being in between a sample container can still be attached. For independent This is handling by a bedridden patient well-known urinal not suitable.
- the D 93 17 372.5 U1 shows a urine bottle in Duck construction, so with a relatively long, steeply sloping not top and front drawn neck, which is the traditional, bulky Has construction.
- a drainage tube attached with a long hose connected to a deeper, e.g. lying under the bed, large collection container opens or inserted into this is.
- This urine bottle is only for lying use usable by male patients with constant incontinence, for which they are equipped with a very wide base is.
- safe use e.g. by itself healthy, low incontinence, postoperative bedridden patients or healthy individuals who have this Urine bottle e.g. Use only at night for convenience they are not suitable.
- their handling is particularly because of their size and the very protruding neck, extremely uncomfortable and also unsafe.
- This bottle can also not easily carried along when traveling to save space or in a motor vehicle or by disabled wheelchair users to be used.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide a urination device which is simple, hygienic and safe in construction and handling, which allows independent multiple use without intermediate emptying by the user himself and, in particular, is also optimally portable and usable on trips.
- the urination device consists of a collecting container which is designed as an essentially cylindrical hollow body which has two end walls which are essentially perpendicular to its longitudinal extent.
- the collecting container has relatively small dimensions, preferably a diameter of approximately 70 mm, and a length of approximately 150 mm.
- the inlet connector only has a length of max. 1/3 of the length of the body of the collecting container and is set up diagonally opposite to the arrangement of the outlet connection and is only inclined by approx. 20 ° to the end face of the inlet, the front upper edge of which projects radially at most slightly beyond that of the body of the collecting container.
- inlet hose of the Urine bag to a length of max. 10 cm shortened and straight is pushed onto the outlet nozzle of the collecting container, which in turn is conical or graduated as a hose connector tapered outer jacket is formed.
- the urine bag can advantageously be a soft elastic Connection hose may be provided, which in turn Max. 10 cm, preferably max. Is 5 cm long.
- Max. 10 cm preferably max. Is 5 cm long.
- this Fall can be the mostly relatively unyielding inlet hose of the Urine bag again by half, i.e. to about 5 cm or be less shortened, with one at its free end well-known hose adapter, mostly associated with bag equipment is infected.
- hose adapter mostly associated with bag equipment is infected.
- Through the attached to the other end of the adapter flexible connection hose is a very high Flexibility of the connecting part between the collecting container and Urine bag ensured. This allows the collection container tilt or swivel very easily towards the urine bag, what when using and then also when lifting vertically and then putting away the urination device, very advantageous is.
- the urine bag is in itself known manner has an inlet and a drain valve and this drain valve as a rotary one-way valve in the manner of a Faucet is designed with a cross handle.
- This ensures that the urine flows out of the urine bag, not flows back through the hoses into the collection container. The So the user can be sure that if he uses the urination device, hanging vertically on the collection container Urine has completely coagulated in and out of the urine bag no longer runs back, even if the device as a whole horizontal or upside down.
- the drain valve can be easily recognized whether this is properly closed, so that an unwanted Outflow of urine from the urine bag is safely avoided.
- the body of the collecting container can be on the inlet side have a conical expansion section, or it can overall be slightly tapered towards the outlet.
- the outlet end wall of the collecting container can be one slightly funnel-shaped bulge in the direction of the outlet nozzle have, which makes a quick and safe flow of urine out of the collection container, except for the last drop, is ensured.
- the inlet end wall can also be inclined by approx. 5-10 ° have, whereby the upper part of the inlet end wall accordingly tilted back and therefore also the inlet connection is somewhat reset, which makes it even better Handling is achieved and in particular a higher safety against tipping.
- the collection container of the urination device is during the Use by a person lying down, preferably in one Held at an angle of approx. 30 ° to the surface for lying or resting, while connecting hose, hose adapter, bag hose and urine bag in a linear extension between the legs of the user come to rest.
- the urine bag lies there flat on the surface and the connecting hose is elastically curved.
- the collection container becomes with the urine bag lying forward between the Legs taken, the bag then lying flat on the bed sheet rests. Due to the wide, flat urine bag and the only very short connecting hoses, the collecting container provided he is in the correct position, i.e. with positioning nipple pointing upwards, was placed in the correct vertical orientation held. The user will then use the container with the Raise the inlet connection, being above the Nipple, which must point exactly upwards, is secured again, that the urination device overall is in the correct orientation having. The male link is now in the inlet port inserted. Due to the slight inclination of the container is the immediate drainage of urine into the bag ensured.
- valve shut-off valve is closed on the bag. After urination is complete the collection container is pushed back a little, vertically upwards swiveled and raised so that the last remnant of urine flows out of the collection container into the urine bag. After that the device placed without a drop of urine is spilled. If the urination device is e.g. on range placed next to the bed or attached to the bed, then you can they, e.g. in the case of mild incontinence, by the user used several times in a row during the night, without having to empty and clean each time. The emptying and cleaning can then take place in the morning after getting up.
- the use of the urination device according to the invention in Nursing and hospital care also means an essential one Facilitate the work of the mostly overworked staff.
- the staff can do that used urinators at some point during the working day or collect if necessary and replace with new ones.
- the bedridden people the security and given satisfaction at the same time without waiting for that Nursing staff on doorbell with a duck urinator must hurry to be able to urinate.
- the inlet connector can be used for both male and female female users should be adapted to their shape.
- male user is a straight or light entry side sloping or sloping backwards to be provided.
- female users this is the inlet end of the nozzle protruding above and below and in between To form the area axially recessed, the female anatomy.
- Variants of the collection container i.e. a male one and to provide a female storage container.
- a collecting container with a male inlet nozzle can be used as the basic unit be used in a tubular, female Inlet adapter is inserted up to the axial stop.
- This inlet adapter shows in its inserted state the corresponding end protruding from the inlet connection female design. This can be done quickly and easily a male urinator into a female urinator be converted. This is particularly advantageous if both males and females the should use the same device and provides at the same time. also represents a cost saving.
- inlet nozzle is designed as a very short retaining collar is, in or on which a cylindrical inlet adapter replaceable is arranged.
- This inlet adapter can be different be trained.
- two inlet adapters can be provided for each container be, namely a female and a male, the if necessary, be inserted into the holding collar.
- the male adapter can also be designed that it is so long on the insertion side that it is far in reaches the inside of the container, which means a larger or support length of the inlet connector thus formed becomes.
- This inlet adapter is easy again can be pulled off, in which case only the relatively short retaining collar stops, the inside of the container can also be lighter washed out or kept clean than in the case of a firmly attached inlet nozzle protruding into the interior of the tank.
- the inlet adapter can also be used as a double inlet adapter be trained, i.e. one end of the adapter has one male and the other a female education. hereby can a urination device or a corresponding collection container be provided for this, the simple and quickly switched to users of different sexes can be and which is also an easier and safer Cleaning allowed.
- a urination device or a corresponding collection container be provided for this, the simple and quickly switched to users of different sexes can be and which is also an easier and safer Cleaning allowed.
- it is an advantage here if there is also a locking of the adapter on the container or whose inlet socket or retaining collar is provided ensured that the collection container was not accidentally only is lifted on the adapter and can fall down before the last urine residue has also flowed into the urine bag. It also makes sense to have a positioning device at the same time to be provided for the adapter, especially for the female Use to ensure proper shape alignment.
- the collecting container has two parts is trained.
- the inlet end wall can be attached to it arranged inlet connector to be designed as a lid, while the essentially cylindrical body coat with Outlet end wall and outlet nozzle the second container part represents. This makes it particularly easy to clean Embodiment provided, but be careful is that appropriate precautions to waterproof and at the same time quick, easy and secure attachment of the lid to be hit.
- the cover can be simply disk-shaped, or have a short cylindrical edge like a can lid, which seals the inlet side of the cylinder body encompasses, or inside the body, at the same time sealing, is inserted. All, e.g. known for can lids Lid fastening types can be used, as long as they are fast and are safe to use. But it can also be a lid connection can be used with screw or bayonet lock.
- the urination device according to the invention can not only for incontinents, postoperative or bedridden due to illness People, but also very successful for wheelchair people and even for very stressed drivers who are not out of the Want to or can get out of the car.
- the urination device according to the invention are also used for incontinent patients, but then a support wedge must be provided, via which the collection container is held up at an angle of approx. 30 ° becomes.
- the urine bag is then appropriate long hose to connect to the collection container and arrange a little lower than the lying surface, so that the constantly dripping urine safely into the urine bag constantly can continue to flow.
- the urine bag can have the appropriate Precautions hung on the bed frame or in one appropriate bag or basket inserted vertically his.
- a urination device generally from a substantially cylindrical Collection container 1, on which a commercially available urine bag 20 interchangeable via hose connecting elements 21 known per se is appropriate.
- the hose connecting elements 21 consist of the very shortened inlet hose 22 of the commercially available urine bag, which is in the bag via an inlet valve 23, which is usually a lip valve, opens.
- an inlet valve 23 which is usually a lip valve, opens.
- a soft elastic Connection hose 27 provides the flexible connection between the adapter 24 and the outlet 4 of the collecting container 1.
- the urine bag 20 can also be used directly the free end of the inlet hose 22 on the outlet nozzle 4 of the collecting container, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7.
- the urine bag's inlet hoses generally are not very flexible, it is recommended to use one insert short, soft connecting hose 27.
- the outlet tube 28 of the urine bag 20 is with a one-way rotary outlet valve 29 provided that a tap with handle 30 has, so that the respective open or closed position is clear is recognizable.
- the collecting container 10 consists essentially from a cylindrical body 2, the one end face an outlet 4 and on the opposite Front side has an inlet nozzle 3, which each other are arranged diagonally opposite eccentrically, as in Connection with Fig. 3 is to be explained in more detail.
- the hose adapter 24 on the one hand a hose pin 25 on which the inlet hose 22 of the urine bag is attached.
- a hose connector 26 is provided on the side, on which the flexible connection tube 27 is pushed firmly is.
- Fig. 3 shows a first embodiment of the preferably Hard plastic-made collecting container 1, which essentially consists of a tubular body 2 (approx. ⁇ 60 x 100 mm), one conical expansion section 9 (approx. ⁇ 60/65 x 53 mm).
- the body 1 can also be light overall be conical, similar to the embodiment 9 is located on the top of section 9 a position nipple 5 for orientation when handling of the container 1 is used.
- the collection container is thus in proportion dimensionally very much to the known collecting containers designed small, with a body diameter of approx. 60-90 mm and a body length of about 130-200 mm, preferably 150 mm has proven to be extremely handy.
- an inlet connection 3 (approx. ⁇ 45 x 45 mm) attached at an angle of approx. 110 ° to the front wall, the has a front bevel 8, as seen in particular from the front view 5 can be seen.
- a hose connector 4 (about ⁇ 10/8 x 30 mm), which is arranged eccentrically downwards so that the respective lower surfaces of the inner openings of the container body and discharge nozzle arranged substantially in alignment with each other are as shown in Figs. 4 and 10 Forehead views can be seen.
- the urination device is in use positions shown.
- FIG. 6 shows the device on a flat support 10 lying flat, it can be seen that the on the collection container 1 following other elements, namely connecting hose 21, 22 and urine bag 20, also directly on lie flat on the support.
- the relatively wide urine bag 20 in particular by short design of the connecting hose, which here only consists of the inlet hose 22, at the same time as a position stabilizer for the container 1 serves. If you put the urine bag 20 flat on one flat surface or on the pad 10, then it holds over the Hose connection 21 the urine bag in the inserted position firmly. So when you put the two main parts together, namely collection containers and urine bags over the Hose connectors, very important, the correct position of the two parts to each other.
- FIGS. 9 to 12 of the collecting container 1 can be seen on the one hand that here the body 2 is essentially slightly conical, whereby the support side is slightly flattened as a support surface 11. This flattening is wider on the inlet side and narrower towards the outlet side in order to run out round, as can be seen from FIGS. 10 and 11.
- outlet-side end wall 7 is rounded or Bulge has one side towards the outlet nozzle 4 runs so that a slight half-funnel shape given is.
- the outlet nozzle is arranged so that the outlet-side lateral surface sections of the nozzle passage 15 and the inner jacket opening 12 of the container body 2 are aligned with each other.
- the inlet connector has 3 an extension 14 on the inside of the container protrudes.
- the extension 14 has an upper bevel here on, so that mainly a channel-shaped support wall below is available.
- the inlet nozzle can also be an extension have, which is continued fully cylindrical or just an extension of the lower half of the nozzle represents, i.e. has a gutter shape.
- 13 to 18 are further embodiments of the inlet connector or the inlet side.
- FIG. 13 shows an inlet connector 13 on its end face 8 is adapted to the female anatomy, that is, in the axial horizontal
- the central section is cut out in an arc-shaped manner is.
- male adapter 18 present on its outer jacket has a stop ring 19. Instead of a complete ring min. a stop pin or knobs.
- This adapter 18 has a conical extension on the inlet side as insertion bevel 32, while the other side of the adapter essentially protrudes into the interior of the container in the form of a groove 33.
- Fig. 16 it is shown that that shown in Fig. 14 female adapter 16, except for collection containers with male spout 3, also for collection containers with short Retaining collar 17 can be used. Moreover, here is still a positioning device 34 at least indicated in the drawing, that from a pen in cooperation with a corresponding one Slot can exist so that always the correct position the inlet face is present. Such a positioning pin is also in the other embodiments Inlet adapter to be provided, provided that their respective end faces functionally an asymmetrical or not vertically terminating Has shape.
- Fig. 17 shows an adapter 35, the inlet side only consists in a flange 31 which surrounds the retaining collar 17.
- the adapter 35 projects with its other side relatively far into the interior of the container and thus creates one good circulation for the male organ, although on the inlet side, measured from the inlet end wall 6, only an extreme short stub, somewhat longer overall than the retaining collar 17 protrudes from this. This is a particularly short, compact Construction available so that a risk of tipping over is practically eliminated is. The risk of spilling is also reduced to a maximum, because of the double-pipe design on the inlet side any small urine residues that may still be present Step shape can not flow out easily.
- Fig. 18 shows a double adapter 36, which on its one side a female inlet 13 and on the other side has a male inlet 3, the are separated by a corresponding stop 19.
- the adapter e.g. holds on the holding collar 17, so that if the collection container is accidentally gripped on Adapter during lifting, this does not correspond loosens and the collection container falls down.
