Definitions
- the invention relates to an attached grenade launcher for attachment on a rifle, preferably an assault rifle, with a grenade launcher barrel that is close to its muzzle arranged transverse axis fixed to the rifle is pivotable, with a bottom housing that has a trigger device and carries a trigger and a push floor has, and with a connector that the transverse axis carries and is connected to the bottom housing (Preamble of claim 1).
- a mounted on a rapid-fire rifle (US rifle M 16) Grenade launcher is known from US 3,641,691 A.
- the Grenade launcher is in place below the gun barrel the fore-end or hand protection. His Barrel extends approximately parallel to the gun barrel and has a horizontal transverse axis next to the mouth, around which the barrel with its back down can be pivoted.
- His Barrel extends approximately parallel to the gun barrel and has a horizontal transverse axis next to the mouth, around which the barrel with its back down can be pivoted.
- In the firing position of the grenade launcher barrel there is a fixed one on the back Floor case that forms a push floor. Is in it a tee is attached from which a trigger extends down out.
- the rifle magazine is used to pull the trigger gripped like a handle with the right or left hand.
- the magazine turns out to be inadequate as a handle, because it usually has a little play in its seat and therefore it is perceived as unsafe support for the hand.
- the recoil presses the angular magazine the hand gripping it, what will be painful and moreover the magazine holder can overload.
- transverse axis and the floor case are proportionate by one thin rail joined together.
- the the rear end of the barrel is in the fire position with the Bottom housing releasably locked.
- a lock is unlocked to release the barrel and the barrel with its back end down pivoted.
- the barrel tilts one becomes more complicated Ejector mechanism (a so-called ejector) operated, which the shot cartridge case by spring action eject completely and automatically.
- the ejector mechanism In the In practice, it is usually sufficient that the ejector mechanism the cartridge case loosens so far that them with one thumb and one finger Gripped by hand and completely removed without effort can.
- the ejector mechanism is thin Rail attached, reflecting their structural strength weakens.
- the well-known grenade launcher would be a very useful one Attachment, he wouldn't have some disadvantages make him insecure and unreliable.
- the well-known grenade launcher has the disadvantage that the tee inevitably excited when reloading becomes.
- the loaded grenade launcher has one constantly taut teeing device. That is why it is an elaborate one Belay facility required to prevent that a shot is triggered unintentionally, for example by accidental Operate a safety lever and / or the easy trigger, for example by a branch when crossing a shrubbery.
- Tipping the barrel down is also not special cheap, for example when the shooter is in a foxhole Has taken a stand. Then the rifle will rest usually with the front part on one edition and must therefore be raised to reload the grenade launcher or tilted to the side.
- the invention is the Task based on the usability of a mounted grenade launcher to increase, in particular, make it more reliable to make and simplify.
- the connecting piece surrounds the run at least partially and over at least part of its length so that essentially only one longitudinal slot is left in the connector is required to swing out the barrel (Claim 1).
- the well-known grenade launcher is likely to deform the narrow rail and / or its connection with bouncing the bump floor during the shot. hereby the impact floor takes a different relative position for a short time to the soul axis of the run.
- the cartridge case is plastically deformed ("fire deformed") and then from the resilient bumper rammed back into the chamber, where it resilient again is reshaped and because of the exercise of it Spring forces are stuck in the cartridge chamber.
- the butt plate has a side to the longitudinal slot projecting ledge and the grenade launcher barrel has one in the back of the slot protruding extension protruding to the rear, the bar with a complementary counter training engages behind.
- This will cause the Bumper and grenade launcher barrel in the direction of the longitudinal slot prevented; or at least on the tolerance measure limited between last and counter training.
- Self when the grenade launcher is used by heavy, continuous use worn out or rickety under the toughest conditions the intervention of the Last in the counter training reliably that the bump bottom where it adjoins the longitudinal slot, from can bend away the rear end of the barrel.
- the bar and the counter training can be any complementary Have shapes as long as they swing out of the barrel, as well as the reliable fit of the support surfaces Ensure of last and counter training on each other.
- These support surfaces are preferred (claim 3) formed as a cylindrical surface, whose Axis with the central axis of the transverse axis completely or almost coincides. This ensures that the support surfaces are pressed flat against each other during the shot and support each other as much as possible.
- the tubular connector goes into the bottom case that continues the tube shape closed to the rear. As such, it would be useful to have the connector also in front of the transverse axis in closed tube form extend at the front. According to the invention (claim 4) but it is advantageous that the longitudinal slot is open towards the front is.
- the connector thus has no extension forward on, which means the purchase by the invention increase in weight of the mounted grenade launcher limited becomes.
- the connector has at least one, preferably several recesses (Claim 5), which, insofar as they are approximately in the form of all sides closed openings are executed, the bending stiffness influence the connector at most insignificantly.
- the transverse axis can, as in the generic state of the Technology is horizontal; here it is necessary that the transverse axis not only near the mouth of the barrel, but also runs over this to avoid a collision of the Avoid barrel with the rifle barrel above.
- the transverse axis runs vertically.
- the generic grenade launcher has the aforementioned Disadvantage on that with the grenade launcher equipped rifle for reloading always from its position must be moved, especially in field positions is disadvantageous.
- This disadvantage is due to the invention Grenade launcher largely fixed, since this the Swings the barrel sideways. At most is before reloading a slight lifting of the front part of the rifle required.
- the generic Grenade launcher does not have its own handle. Instead is an unfavorable grip for those who pull the trigger Hand accepted around the rifle magazine.
- the deduction should not be too stiff because the targeted actuation of a harder trigger because of the unfavorable grip is not possible.
- a soft deduction however, is always a security risk.
- the invention provides a clamping trigger device before (claim 9). This is more stiff than that Deduction of the known grenade launcher, but this will gained significant security benefits because of this
- the clamping device always remains unstressed - except immediately before the shot. It's also so stiff that a thin branch that when crossing a shrubbery can go unnoticed before the deduction, this cannot operate.
- the clamping trigger device trained so that when the device is unstressed whose firing pin is always in its rear position is, as in a return lock, and not protrudes forward from the bumper.
- Such a clamping trigger device does not require a fuse; if a fuse is still provided, then it is sufficient a simple fuse that only blocks the trigger, because the hammer without mechanical damage do not knock off powerful trigger pull can.
- the grenade launcher of the invention is also a grip piece is formed, which will be discussed in more detail below is received.
- a grip piece is formed, which will be discussed in more detail below is received.
- a sprung Rocker arm which can be tilted about a tilt axis is, which is at a distance from the transverse axis and the soul axis of the grenade launcher barrel perpendicular to these two extends.
- An end spaced from this tilt axis the rocker arm engages in its rest position under spring force in training on the outside of the grenade launcher barrel near its rear end.
- This rocker arm tipped out of the rest position, then he gives the grenade launcher barrel free, which then by its own cushioning can swing out (claim 10).
- the rocker arm attacks preferably in the middle of the barrel, see above that it is essentially vertical below the soul axis of the arranged in the firing position of the grenade launcher barrel is.
- the rocker arm is preferably made of a flat Shaped piece of sheet metal.
- the design of the grenade launcher barrel is preferably one groove-like depression in the outside, which is parallel extends to the soul axis. So far the groove-like Not deepening, in the closing direction of the grenade launcher barrel seen, far beyond its vertically deepest generators lies, the cylindrical jacket-shaped outer contour of the barrel as a guide curve for the locking end the rocker arm. In this way, the rocker arm is against its suspension is automatically deflected when the barrel is closed and then falls into training or deepening on.
- a cross lever can be attached to the rocker arm or a Swivel lever can be connected to the rocker arm in a rotationally fixed manner his. By pressing the cross or swivel lever down, with the thumb, the rocker arm can then counter the effect of its suspension can be tilted.
- the push button or ribbed end section protrudes from the floor case at a suitable location out and can be easily operated with the finger when the shooter swings out the grenade launcher barrel wishes.
- the grenade launcher according to the invention has preferably has its own handle (Claim 12) equipped with a trigger guard that protects the trigger from unwanted touch.
- the trigger guard is preferred and more preferably that Handle entirely or largely made of plastic. It is compared to the well-known grenade launcher consciously accepted a weight disadvantage; the additional weight is when using Plastic relatively low.
- the handle not only enables precise operation of the trigger and prevents the harmful Transfer of the grenade launcher recoil to the magazine, but also enables safe use in an emergency of the add-on grenade launcher without attached rifle.
- the handle is preferred (claim 13) within of the trigger guard and one place before the trigger provided on which the push button or the ribbed end portion of the rocker arm emerges from above.
- This Push button can be from the index finger of the trigger operator Be operated by hand, i.e. pressed upwards. If the finger is on the trigger, for example when shooting, then it is Pushbutton operation excluded.
- the grenade launcher according to the invention by one Right-handed and left-handed shooters are equally easy to operate.
- the grenade launcher according to the invention is designed that he was against the forend of the intended Rifle can be easily replaced.
- the grenade launcher will then with the oblong holes pushed over the transverse projections on the rifle and fixed by means of the cross pin. It can several slot arrangements can be provided if the Grenade launcher for mounting on different rifle models is provided on which the transverse projections on different Places sit.
- the grenade launcher usually also includes one of the Sight of the rifle separate own sight, the usually attached to the rifle. Usually it is as Frame or head visor trained, the high elevation angle allowed.
- the sighting device for the grenade launcher also attached to this itself (claim 15).
- the grenade launcher has a bracket on each side, the sighting device optionally on one of the two Mounts can be attached so that the grenade launcher for a right- or left-handed shooter the appropriate one Has sights.
- the sighting device is either set up for double-sided use, or can be done with simple means, such as moving parts, for mounting on the right or left side of the grenade launcher.
- the brackets for the sights are arranged on the connector or trained to always have a good alignment to have the grenade launcher barrel.
- the trigger device provided with a fuse (claim 16), the in its rest position the trigger device is unaffected lets, however, in the work situation in the fume cupboard intervenes in such a way that they do not trigger a shot can.
- the fuse sets in their work situation, for example the hammer or the tap or the deduction of the Trigger device fixed.
- This fuse is preferably with the rocker arm coupled that it sets the trigger if the rocker arm is moved out of its rest position (claim 17). This ensures that no cartridge is ignited can be when the barrel is unlocked to get out of its Shot position to be swung out, or when swung out is. Besides, there is also the advantage that the firing pin of the trigger device is always in its retracted rest position when the barrel is off or is pivoted so that it does not fall into the bottom of the Insert the cartridge case or against the side edge on Strike the rear end of the barrel and thus its Can hinder pivoting movement.
- a handle for actuating the fuse is preferred provided (claim 18), and the coupling with the rocker arm is such that the rocker arm is securing engages, so the weapon secures, but subsequently, when the rocker arm returns to its rest position, the Weapon remains secured. Before the next shot the Unlock the gun.
- This so-called “automatic Securing” has been working with tilt-barrel hunting rifles for more Proven over 100 years; it offers the greatest possible security.
- the rifle barrel is above with the grenade launcher attached of the connector and essentially in the middle this. If there is a gas piston unit for the rifle is, it is almost regularly above of the gun barrel. If desired, the grenade launcher be equipped with an additional hand protection, the in its effect the upper part of the rifle forearm corresponds, but is adapted to the grenade launcher, whose Arched connector and the rifle barrel as well, if necessary surrounds the gas piston unit.
- Fig. 1 shows the side view of a modern rapid-fire rifle 1, the gun barrel 3, a gun barrel 5 made of plastic, a magazine 7, an optical sight 9 and a rifle grip 11 with trigger and fire selection lever having.
- the rifle is for a modern, small-caliber cartridge set up with a small amount of propellant gets along. This amount of propellant charge is not enough to a grenade that looks like a hand grenade comes close to driving. If you still want such a grenade shoot, then there is a separate, large-caliber Propellant cartridge required.
- This cartridge is fired in a grenade launcher 13, the forearm on rifle 1 instead is arranged.
- the grenade launcher On rifle 1 is the forearm (not shown) with Hand protection removed. Instead, the grenade launcher is 13 attached under the gun barrel, by means of a usual, lockable mounting pin 33 and one Slot arrangement 35.
- the slot arrangement 35 consists from trained on both sides of the grenade launcher 13, after elongated holes at the back, each from the front Cross protrusion are pushed off of the rifle housing 5 stands out.
- the grenade launcher 13 has a grenade launcher barrel 15, which is in the firing position approximately parallel to the gun barrel 3 extends and lies below this. In the loading position the grenade launcher barrel 13 is swung out to the left, as shown in Fig. 2.
- the grenade launcher barrel 15 is in a connecting piece 37 arranged that tube-like over almost half encloses its circumference and almost its entire length.
- the connector 37 has on its left One side extending over its entire length Longitudinal slot 39 on which allows the grenade launcher barrel 15 swing out with the fixed connector 37 can.
- the connecting piece 37 connects a vertical transverse axis 31 with a bottom housing 17.
- the transverse axis 31 is on the front of the connector 37 and right located close to the grenade launcher barrel 15.
- the bottom case 17 is at the rear of the connector 37 located and forms an impact floor 41 (Fig. 3); the bottom case 17 carries a grenade launcher grip on its underside 19, which is a clamping trigger device with a Trigger 21 and a firing pin 43 (Fig. 5) and has a trigger guard 25.
- a fuse 23 is from a grenade launcher grip 19 which penetrates transversely Shaft formed on both ends and each on the outside of the grenade launcher grip 19 an operating lever 23 sits for the fuse.
- One of both Lock lever 23 is therefore with the thumb of that Grenade launcher grip 19 operable hand, regardless of whether it is the right or the left Hand acts.
- the shaft of the fuse 23 makes the deduction 21 or the firing pin 43 of the trigger device.
- the grenade launcher barrel 15 is made up of two swing-open springs, which surround the transverse axis 31 and on the connector Support 37 in the direction of the reloading position (Fig. 2) charged.
- the connecting piece has on its longitudinal slot 39 opposite side a relief opening 45 for Weight relief on (Fig. 4).
- a relief opening 45 for Weight relief on (Fig. 4) As in Figs. 4 and 5 can also be seen at the top of the connector 37 and on both sides thereof a visor holder 47 formed, which the shape of two threaded holes and has a support surface that is continuous or is divided.
- FIG. 4 shows a further transverse bore 51 which is to be received a mounting pin is set up and serves the grenade launcher 13 shown on another rifle than that shown in FIGS. 1 to 3.
- the transverse bore 51 which is not for receiving a fastening pin 33 is set up by a pin arrangement locked to prevent from attaching of the extension grenade launcher accidentally on a rifle the wrong cross hole 51 is used.
- a stop device is on the connecting piece 37 63, against which the grenade launcher barrel 15 starts up when the barrel is closed.
- grenade launcher grip 19 there is a centrally arranged extending in the longitudinal direction, two-legged Rocker arm 53 tiltably mounted about a transverse tilt axis. This is by a spring with its rear End pushed up so that this rear end in a longitudinal groove 55 occurs at the rear end and below is formed on the grenade launcher barrel 15.
- the grenade launcher barrel 15 must be in his shot position (Fig. 1).
- the grenade launcher barrel 15 is swung out (Fig. 2) and is swung back into its firing position, then the rear end of the rocker arm 53 runs against the Outside circumference of the grenade launcher barrel 15 and is from this pressed down to ultimately into the longitudinal groove 55 to be able to come up with.
- a push button 57 formed between the trigger guard 25 and the trigger 21 from the bottom housing 17 and handle 19 down protrudes. So it is possible, for example with the index finger to push the push button 57 up and thus the To pivot rocker arm 53 until its front end Longitudinal groove 55 releases and the grenade launcher barrel 15, by one Suspension 49 driven, in the position of FIG. 2nd swings.
- the pivoting usually takes place after Operate the trigger 21 to tension and trigger the Take-off device, i.e. after the shot.
- the empty cartridge case either falls as a result the centrifugal force out of the barrel 15, or it must with your thumb and a finger under the edge of the cartridge be taken and undressed.
- the tread at the rear end of barrel 15 two each other opposite recesses 61 are provided, which reach under allow the cartridge edge. A separate one There is no pull-out or ejection device.
- a new cartridge 59 is then inserted into barrel 15 and this is swiveled in again until the Rocker arm 53 again falls into the longitudinal groove 55.
- a right-handed shooter can use the reloading process just described the right hand on the grenade launcher grip 19 leave and all reloading handles with the left hand carry out. It is therefore possible to use the grenade launcher to give a real rapid fire, what about then is particularly beneficial when the enemy is forced to take cover to be a safe change of position to enable your own troops.
- a left-handed shooter must reach for reloading and therefore becomes a little slower be as a right-handed shooter. But since he was not forced is the trigger with the inexperienced (right) hand to operate, he will not lose marksmanship have to accept.
- the bottom housing 17 has one on the left next to the impact floor vertical ledge projecting to the left outside 65, of which the vertex is just visible in FIG. 2 is.
- Complementary to this bar 65 is on the Back of the grenade launcher barrel 15 and from this a protrusion formed on the outside left and rear, the inside of which has a counter-formation 67, which has the shape of a vertical groove.
- the bar 65 and the groove 67 each have a surface (not visible) on that part of a cylindrical surface around the central axis the vertical transverse axis 31.
- the two cylinder surface cutouts are so to the transverse axis 31st spaced that they when swiveling the grenade launcher barrel 15 reach behind each other with as little play as possible.
- FIGS. 4 and 5 has, as already mentioned above, on both sides at least one surface and two threaded holes, the two visor brackets 47 form.
- a frame or head sighting arrangement (not shown) can be either on the right or left visor holder 47, depending on the shooter is a right-handed or left-handed shooter.
- the visor arrangement mounted on a mounting base, so that the mounting base for attachment to the desired side of the grenade launcher 13 aligned and then the visor assembly in the correct orientation can be attached to the mounting base.
- This sighting arrangement is independent of the gun sight 9th
- the grenade launcher barrel 15 and the connector 37 and bottom housing 17 formed component consists of Light metal, the grenade launcher grip 19 and the hand guard 27 are made of plastic, and only the parts of the Take-off device and the butt plate 41 consist of Steel. The weight of the grenade launcher 13 is therefore low, although it is very stable.
- the grenade launcher 13 can also be separately if necessary be used by a rifle 1 carrying it.
