Definitions
- the invention relates to a process for the production of Verbändem with improved surface properties.
- a bright annealing system consists of a bright annealing furnace and an upstream degreasing.
- the furnace is operated with a hydrogen atmosphere so that at the high annealing temperatures no scaling of the belt can take place.
- traces of oxygen are present.
- oxide layers form on the strip.
- many bright annealing plants were equipped with an electrochemical nitric acid treatment in the outlet part.
- the success of the treatment is not exactly quantifiable - sometimes the band has even stronger tints after treatment.
- the fact is that most new bright annealing equipment is designed and built without this electrochemical nitric acid aftertreatment. This is mainly due to the fact that the furnace atmosphere is much better controlled and the dew point does not fluctuate to the same extent as before.
- the BA material (material after a bright annealing furnace) can always cause great difficulties when it is driven to improve the flatness on the stretch-bending machine. It can come to the assignment of the rolls by deposits from the strip surface and it can cause micro-cracks in the strip surface which adversely affect the gloss level.
- the hard particles which are located on the surface of the BA material result in significantly shorter service lives of the work rolls. The same problem of shorter tool life is given when punching and deep drawing the BA material.
- the modern punching machines which can create up to 1000 punches per minute, often can not reach the productivity with the BA material. In the deep-drawing process, the precision is often not given if the material has different friction values on the surface.
- Various methods for surface improvement are already known.
- JP-A-05059600 a method for electropolishing the inner surface of pipes, wherein a flexible electrode is provided. About the electrolyte, currents etc. nothing is said.
- the JP-A-10147900 describes pickling with nitric acid to produce a milky surface.
- the preparation of a steel is described, which is subjected to a treatment in neutral electrolyte and finally in nitric acid.
- the EP-A-0367112 Finally, a method is described in which lowest currents are used. The aim of the invention is therefore to provide a method in which the subsequent mechanical treatment steps substantially easier and a much better processability with longer tool life is given.
- the stainless steel strip is first subjected to a bright annealing process and then an electrochemical pickling at current densities of 5 A / dm2 up to 200 A / dm 2 , wherein the electrochemical treatment in sulphate (SO 4 2- ) electrolyte and the treatment with charge densities between C / dm occurs 100 2 and 3000 C / dm 2, wherein as the electrolyte of sulfuric acid (H 2 SO 4) is used with a free acid concentration of at least 5 g / l and the oxidation-reduction potential by adding substances to change the redox potential , preferably by Chromationen (Cr 6+ ), is set to about 860 mV.
- SO 4 2- sulfuric acid
- the advantage of higher current densities is that the strip surface is electrochemically polished and that higher potentials are set on the strip surface, thereby increasing the cleaning effect.
- the advantage of the treatment with sulfuric acid is that the cleaning of the strip surface from the hard deposits with regard to removal rate and roughness can be optimized to the desired degree of gloss and the anode material is not a major problem (lead or Si casting). Compared with the pure sulfuric acid electrolyte, this results in the advantage of high removal rates, while at the same time the gloss values are reduced much less.
- An advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the temperature between 20 and 95 ° C, preferably about 50 ° C, is.
- a favorable development of the invention is characterized in that the treatment with charge densities is about 350 C / dm 2 .
- the treatment with charge densities is about 350 C / dm 2 .
- An advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the current density between 5 and 100 A / dm 2 , preferably about 40 A / dm 2 , is.
- FIG. 1a and treated ( Fig. 1b ), wherein the treatment with 70 A / dm 2 , a temperature of 85 ° C and a loading density of 500 C / dm 2 was carried out.
- the photos Fig. 2a and 2b show analog recordings at 15,000 times magnification. It can clearly be seen that the particles no longer exist on the strip surface after the treatment.
- thermoforming properties were improved.
- slightly roughened samples evaluation 1 and 2 an additional effect was achieved by improved oil adhesion.

Description
A/dm2, vorzugsweise etwa 40 A/dm2, beträgt.
