Definitions
- the invention relates to an enamelled reaction vessel according to the preamble of claim 1 and a cap, especially manhole cover, for such.
- closure cap for such reaction vessels either by a Losflansch- or staple screw connection to a Container opening or a container neck are fastened, are known.
- an execution of such Container with a sight glass known.
- a sight glass which on its outer circumference with one on the inner circumference of a Metal ring applied enamel layer and through this fused to the metal ring.
- the upper ring surface of the Metal ring is for the attack of the upper ring of a loose flange connection provided over which the sight glass at one Stutzen a pressure vessel is fastened.
- From DE 298 04 894 U1 is an internally enameled cap known.
- This cap has in one preferred embodiment, two sight glasses on the constructive completely different way on or in the cap are attached.
- One of the two sight glasses is in a Schellverschluß cover mounted, which via a Hinged joint hinged to the manhole cover and by means of a the toggle opposite toggle screw, a toggle lever etc. is held in the closed position on manhole cover.
- a sealing ring assembly Between the associated opening in the manhole cover and the Quick-release lid is provided a sealing ring assembly.
- the second sight glass is directly in a second opening in the Manhole cover, whose inner circumference is enamelled, over the Enamel layer melted down.
- the invention is therefore based on the object, an improved Reaction vessel or an improved cap of the specify type generic, in which the sight glass permanently remains free from damage.
- the invention includes the essential consideration that the via a peripheral enamel layer in the opening of the reaction vessel or cap tightly sealed sight glass mechanically rigid with the vessel wall or the closure lid is connected and therefore occurring in its peripheral area Power effects is fully exposed.
- the sight glass of a radial compression bias exposed.
- the invention concludes the fundamental Teach in, the scope of the sight glass - or, more precisely said, the circumference of the opening in the reaction vessel or cap, in which the sight glass is melted down - if possible largely free of these tensile stresses, i. to minimize the influence of the bending stresses on the sight glass, from the acting on the container or lid inside Forces result.
- One is the sight glass at least partially surrounding, to the outside of the Reaction vessel or closure lid down substantially open tension relief groove provided.
- this relief groove encloses the sight glass (or the opening into which it has melted) Completely.
- the circumference of the opening in the vessel wall or in the cap largely from the tension in the rest of the cap due to the bulge decoupled.
- the relief groove is more appropriate Circular, concentric with the Sight glass arranged.
- Both the sight glass and the relief groove are elliptical shaped. Also a combination of a circle with a Ellipse shape and an eccentric arrangement of the relief groove are possible.
- the depth of the relief groove is preferably in the range between 25 and 75%, in particular between 40 and 60%, of the thickness the vessel wall or the closure lid.
- the sight glass with a much smaller Thickness as the vessel wall or the closure lid executed and substantially flush with the inside - i. across from whose outside is set back inwards - into the vessel wall or the closure lid inserted.
- the sight glass by resetting its surface opposite the particularly zugêtsbelasteten outside the Vessel wall or top of the cap mostly relieved of the tensile stresses in the cap.
- the thickness of the Sight glasses in the range between 25 and 75%, in particular between 40 and 60%, the thickness of the vessel wall or the closure lid.
- the tension relief of the sight glass is the more effective, the smaller its thickness in relation to Thickness of the surrounding material is, however, the thickness of the Sight glasses (depending on the specific application) for Ensuring the necessary mechanical stability not be chosen low.
- Figs. 1 and 2 show a manhole cover 1 made of metal, the as a closure cap for a reaction vessel (not shown) serves and on the one hand has the function, the on or Exit of a person to the revision of the reaction vessel and on the other hand, a sampling or filling with solids surcharges etc. to enable.
- the manhole cover 1 consists of Metal and is - in a conventional manner - inside (on the surfaces facing the interior of the reaction vessel) enamelled.
- the manhole cover has a top view elliptical basic shape.
- Two hinge joint parts 3a, 3b are for articulation at the manhole cover to be closed Opening the reaction vessel provided.
- the manhole cover has two larger circular openings. 5 and 7, whose centers are on the major axis of the Lid 1 lie.
- the opening 5 is defined by a (not shown) Quick-release lid closed and serves in particular for sampling or charging the reaction vessel with solids surcharges.
- For fixing of the quick-release lid are around the circumference of the opening. 5 evenly distributed threaded holes 9 provided. Near the Outer circumference of the manhole cover 1 is on the top 1a a nearly circumferential shallow groove 11 is provided.
- the second larger opening 7 is small in diameter stepped, namely, it has in the top of the 1a Manhole cover 1 adjacent section a slightly larger one Diameter than in the adjacent to the bottom 1b of the lid Area. To the bottom of a b of the lid 1 out the circumference of the opening 7 is rounded or chamfered.
- the lower Area of the opening 7 carries - as well as the underside of the lid 1b - an enamel layer of about 1 to 1.5 mm thickness.
- Fused with the enamel layer is a sight glass 13, the has a thickness of about half the lid thickness and (um reset a few millimeters from the bottom of the lid, i.e. substantially flush) in the lower area of the opening 7 fluidly sealed by fusion with the enamel layer (i.e. also gas-tight) is inserted.
- the opening 7 is concentrically surrounded by an annular groove 15, whose diameter, for example, 1.5 - 2 times the Sight glass diameter and its depth about 1/3 - 1/2 of the lid thickness is.
- Figs. 3a and 3b are modified embodiments of grooves for tension relief of a sight glass in the wall of a Reaction container sketched like.
- Fig. 3a shows a container wall 101 with an outside 101 a and an inner side 101 b into which a sight glass 113 to Inner side 101b offset via a (not shown) Enamel layer is melted down.
- the staggered to the inside (but not with the inner surface 101b of the container wall flush) sight glass 113 is here from one on the inside surrounded by the reaction vessel arranged annular groove 115. This is in the illustrated embodiment so deep that they are up via the container outer side surface 113a of the sight glass 113 extends to the outside.
- FIG. 3b is a in a sense as a combination of the embodiments 1 and 2 on the one hand and Fig. 3a on the other to be understood embodiment.
- a sight glass 213 is here again to the inside 201b of a container wall 201 offset melted into the wall.
- this version are both from the outside 201a and from the inside 201b here in each case an outer or inner side annular groove 215a or 215b provided.
- This embodiment is therefore in particular Dimensions suitable for reaction vessels, the high pressure or Tensile stress and in particular high thermal Alternating loads are exposed.
- Fig. 4 is a further embodiment of a section of a Manhole cover 301 shown in which to insert a sight glass 313 a thickening or annular Aufkantung 302 is provided is.
- this Aufkantungs Scheme 302 is the sight glass 313 via an (not shown here) enamel layer on the inner wall 301 a of the lid so melted that its the interior of the reaction vessel facing lower surface 313b about at the level or slightly outside the Top side 301 a of the remaining manhole cover 301 is located.
- This Arrangement is the effect of tensile stresses on the Sight glass by the offset of the sight glass to the outside - and Although completely outside the lid level - and by the Elasticity of the lid material in the area of the annular Rebar substantially reduced.
- Fig. 5a - 5c are sketchy different forms of sight glasses shown using the invention Measures for stress relief directly into the wall a reaction vessel or in a manhole cover melted could be.
- Fig. 5a is one of the shape of a slot corresponding sight glass 413 shown in Fig. 5b an im Essential rectangular sight glass 513 with rounded corners 513a
- Fig. 5c is a substantially triangular Sight glass 613 with rounded corners 613a.
- As a means for stress relief are here - similar to the aforementioned Examples - the sight glass entirely or only partially surrounding grooves suitable.
- the manhole cover, the opening for the Sight glass and the sight glass itself and its scope surrounding groove also in a modified form and in other proportions executable.
- grooves are provided as stress relief means, they do not necessarily have to be completely open, they have to be For example, filled with an elastomer or be superficially covered without their function of stress relief the sight glass thereby significantly limited becomes. It can also be an eccentric arrangement opposite be useful to the sight glass.
