Definitions
- the invention relates to an enamelled reaction container according to the preamble of claim 1 or a closure lid, especially manhole cover, for one.
- a sight glass is known from DE 29 10 032 C2, which on its outer circumference with one on the inner circumference Metal ring applied enamel layer and through this with the metal ring is fused.
- the upper ring surface of the Metal ring is for the attack of the upper ring of a loose flange connection provided, through which the sight glass on a Nozzle of a pressure vessel can be attached.
- DE 298 04 894 U1 discloses an enamelled sealing cover on the inside known.
- This cap has in one preferred embodiment two sight glasses on which on constructive completely different ways on or in the cap are attached.
- One of the two sight glasses is in a quick release lid attached, which over a Hinge joint hinged to the manhole cover and by means of a the toggle screw opposite the linkage, a toggle lever or similar is held in the closed position on the manhole cover.
- a sealing ring arrangement Between the associated opening in the manhole cover and the A quick-seal lid is provided with a sealing ring arrangement.
- the second sight glass is directly in a second opening in the Manhole cover, the inner circumference of which is enamelled, over the Enamel layer melted down.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of an improved Reaction vessel or an improved cap of the Specify generic type in which the sight glass is permanent remains free of damage.
- the invention includes the essential consideration that over a peripheral layer of enamel in the opening of the reaction vessel or sealing cover, melted in sight glass mechanically rigid with the vessel wall or the cap is connected and therefore occurring in its peripheral area Force effects is fully exposed. As a result of Melting is the sight glass of a radial prestress exposed. It should now be noted that the considerable internal pressure in the reaction vessel to a bulge proportional to the pressure of the cap leads. This bulge in turn has Development of considerable tensile stress, especially on the Top of the lid result, and these tensile stresses follow the findings of the inventors on the damage to the known Sight glass.
- the invention closes the basic one Teach one, the scope of the sight glass - or, more precisely said the circumference of the opening in the reaction vessel or cap, into which the sight glass is melted - if possible to be kept largely free of these tensile stresses, i.e. to minimize the influence of the bending stresses on the sight glass, those acting on the inside of the container or lid Forces result.
- the sight glass surrounding at least in sections, to the outside of the reaction vessel or cap essentially open tension relief groove provided.
- this relief groove encloses this relief groove the sight glass (or the opening into which it has melted) Completely. Through the relief groove, the circumference of the opening largely in the wall of the vessel or in the cap the tensile stresses acting in the remaining cap as a result decouples the bulge.
- the relief groove is also more appropriate Way circular, concentric with the Sight glass arranged.
- Both the sight glass and the relief groove are elliptical shaped. Also a combination of a circular and a Elliptical shape and an eccentric arrangement of the relief groove are possible.
- the depth of the relief groove is preferably in the range between 25 and 75%, especially between 40 and 60%, of the thickness the vessel wall or the sealing cap.
- the sight glass with a much smaller one Thickness as the vessel wall or the sealing lid and essentially flush with the inside - i.e. across from the outside of which is set backwards - into the vessel wall or inserted the cover.
- the sight glass by resetting its surface compared to the particularly tensile stressed outside of the Most of the vessel wall or top of the cap relieved of the tensile stresses in the sealing cover.
- the thickness of the Sight glasses in the range between 25 and 75%, especially between 40 and 60%, the thickness of the vessel wall and the closure lid.
- the tension relief of the sight glass is the more effective the smaller its thickness in relation to the Thickness of the surrounding material is, however, the thickness of the Sight glasses (depending on the specific application) Not guaranteeing the necessary mechanical stability be chosen small.
- the sight glass is both measures to relieve tension set back against the outside of the wall or cover as well as surrounded by a relief groove.
- the manhole cover 1 made of metal, the as a cover for a reaction container (not shown) serves and on the one hand has the function of the input or Exit of a person for the revision of the reaction container and on the other hand a sampling or filling with solid aggregates etc. to enable.
- the manhole cover 1 consists of Metal and is - in a manner known per se - on the inside (on the surfaces facing the inside of the reaction container) enamelled.
- the manhole cover has one in the top view basic elliptical shape.
- Two hinge joint parts 3a, 3b are for articulation on the one to be closed by the manhole cover Opening of the reaction container provided.
- the manhole cover has two larger circular openings 5 and 7, whose centers on the major axis of the Cover 1 lie.
- the opening 5 is through a (not shown) Quick-lock lid can be closed and is used in particular for taking samples or loading the reaction container with solid additives.
- For fixing of the quick-release cover are around the circumference of the opening 5 evenly distributed threaded holes 9 are provided.
- Near the The outer circumference of the manhole cover 1 is on the top la an almost circumferential flat groove 11 is provided.
- the second larger opening 7 is slightly in diameter graded, namely in the top la des Manhole cover 1 adjacent section a slightly larger Diameter on than in that adjacent to the underside lb of the lid Area.
- the circumference of the opening 7 is rounded or chamfered.
- the lower Area of the opening 7 carries - just like the underside of the lid 1b - an enamel layer about 1 to 1.5 mm thick.
- a sight glass 13 is fused to the enamel layer has a thickness of approximately half the cover thickness and (um set back a few millimeters from the underside of the lid, i.e. essentially flush) in the lower area of the opening 7 fluid-tight by fusing with the enamel layer (i.e. also gas-tight) is inserted.
- the opening 7 is surrounded concentrically by an annular groove 15, whose diameter, for example, 1.5 - 2 times the Sight glass diameter and its depth approx. 1/3 - 1/2 of the lid thickness is.
- 3a and 3b are modified embodiments of grooves to relieve tension of a sight glass in the wall of a Reaction container shown sketchy.
- FIG. 3a shows a container wall 101 with an outside 101a and an inside 101b, into which a sight glass 113 for Inside 101b offset over a (not shown) Enamel layer is melted. That moved to the inside (but not with the inner surface 101b of the container wall flush) sight glass 113 is here from one on the inside surrounded the annular groove 115 of the reaction vessel. This is so deep in the embodiment shown that it is up to over the outside surface 113a of the sight glass 113 extends to the outside.
- FIG. 3b is in a sense a combination of the designs 1 and 2 on the one hand and Fig. 3a on the other illustrated embodiment to be understood.
- a sight glass 213 is here again to the inside 201b of a container wall 201 melted into the wall offset.
- these version are both from the outside 201a and from the inside 201b each have an outer or inner annular groove 215a or 215b. This will both above and below an essentially tension and compression free Middle area of the container wall a relief of the Sight glass 213 reached.
- This version is therefore special Dimensions suitable for reaction vessels, the high pressure or Tensile stresses and in particular also high thermal Are exposed to alternating loads.
- Manhole cover 301 shown, in which to insert a sight glass 313 a thickening or annular upstand 302 is provided is.
- the sight glass is in this upturn region 302 313 via an enamel layer (also not shown here) the inner wall 301a of the cover melted down so that its lower surface facing the inside of the reaction vessel 313b roughly on the level or slightly outside the Top side 301a of the remaining manhole cover 301 lies.
- an enamel layer also not shown here
- the inner wall 301a of the cover melted down so that its lower surface facing the inside of the reaction vessel 313b roughly on the level or slightly outside the Top side 301a of the remaining manhole cover 301 lies.
- FIG. 5a-5c are sketchy different forms of viewing glasses shown using the invention Measures to relieve tension directly in the wall of a reaction vessel or melted into a manhole cover could be.
- Fig. 5a is the shape of an elongated hole corresponding sight glass 413 shown in Fig. 5b in essential rectangular sight glass 513 with rounded corner areas 513a, and in Fig. 5c an essentially triangular one Sight glass 613 with rounded corner areas 613a.
- the sight glass entirely or just partially surrounding grooves are suitable.
- the manhole cover is the opening for that Sight glass and the sight glass itself as well as its scope surrounding groove also in modified form and in other size ratios executable.
- grooves are provided as stress relief means, they don't have to be completely open, they have to be can for example be filled with an elastomer or be superficially covered without their function of relieving tension of the sight glass hereby significantly restricted becomes. It can also face an eccentric arrangement the sight glass be useful.
