Definitions
- the present invention relates to a ventilation valve for beverage cans, in particular for the beer contained cans with a volume of 51.
- the sheet pile can has one in the section directed into the inner part of the can side ventilation opening.
- the valve insert is pivoted and can be moved between an "open” and a "closed” position, whereby the ventilation opening is opened or closed.
- the disadvantage of the known ventilation valves is that the sheet pile can is completely made of elastic material and therefore an optimal seal of the pressurized beverage can cannot be reached.
- valve insert is very complex due to the construction of the stop geometric shape, which leads to high manufacturing costs. On the other hand, allowed this shape only one direction of rotation of the valve insert within the sleeve.
- bunghole closures are known from DE 3345619, which are used for Serving tap fittings with piercing pipes and also for ventilation of the Beverage cans can be used by a molded plate is pierced.
- the disadvantage here is that when using a side drain valve or a tap fitting without a piercing pipe to pierce and thus vent the Beverage can not be done without tools, but rather a solid object, such as B. key or screwdriver is required.
- Another disadvantage is that it is the case with beverage cans with the known ventilation valves and a side drain valve are not equipped it is possible to use a tap with a pipe.
- the present invention has therefore set itself the task of a ventilation valve create that an optimal seal ensures a simple and accurate Ventilation of beverage cans ensures and the use of a tap with piercing pipe.
- a ventilation valve for beverage cans a radially movable valve insert in an elastic sheet pile head, the Sheet pile sleeve made of an inner sealing soft part and a hard part in shape a sleeve is constructed, the hard part consisting of a locking mechanism inner locking wedges, an outer flange and an intermediate one Sealing ring, the edge opposite the outer flange the sleeve is closed by a molded plate and the sleeve is a Axial bore with at least one interacting with the valve insert Has sealing bead of the soft part and the bung in the lower section, which extends into the inside of the can through the hard and soft part has lateral bore, the radially movable according to the invention Valve insert a handle part designed essentially as a plate with a central integrally formed neck and a basket in which the neck engages, wherein the approach has at least one surface that is with the inner wall of the Soft part of the sleeve forms a channel.

- the Plate of the handle part has recesses which match the surface of the outer flange form a parallel channel. Furthermore is a cam is formed on the underside of the plate of the handle part, which cam in a Recess engages in the outer flange.
- the plate molded onto the hard part has predetermined breaking points.
- the mode of action is as follows.
- the valve insert is according to the invention from a handle with attachment and a basket in which the attachment engages.
- the The valve insert as a whole is inserted into the interior of the sleeve.
- the basket points at least one sealing surface, which in the interior of the sleeve, the lateral bore seals in the sleeve in the "closed" position of the valve to the liquid and at least one surface which has a channel with the inner wall of the sleeve forms, through which a pressure equalization with the external atmosphere in the "open" position of the valve can be done.
- the attachment of the handle part is on a plate integrally formed, which is essentially flush with the outer flange of the sheet pile completes.
- a cam is formed on the underside of the plate, which cam in one Recess engages in the outer flange of the sheet pile.
- This recess is advantageously designed substantially semicircular. The ends of the recess form a stop for the cam and thus a limitation of the Rotary movement of the valve insert.
- the plate has recesses on the underside on which is parallel to the surface of the outer flange form extending channel, which with the through the inner wall of the sleeve and the flats of the approach and the basket-shaped channel is connected and thus the desired pressure compensation when the valve is actuated between the inside of the can and the atmosphere.
- the handle part with shoulder is intended to accommodate a tap fitting with a piercing pipe pulled out of the sheet pile.
- the basket remains inside the sleeve and is pierced with the piercing tube into the Bumped inside the can.
- the on the underside of the The molded-on plate has predetermined breaking points which are easy to pierce allow the plate.
- the sleeve by a Clamping stopper plug closed creating a tap with Piercing tube can be inserted particularly easily.
- the basket on the Underside of a cutting edge that the predetermined breaking point of the molded plate at Pierce the tap fitting and make it easier to pierce the plate.
- the basket can have a radial guide member on the underside, which leads to an easier insertion of the valve insert into the sleeve, a better one Guidance is achieved in the rotary movement of the valve and secondly the basket can be held in position to ensure an optimal seal.
- the guide member can be formed as a disc on the underside of the basket a diameter that is essentially the diameter of the axial bore sleeve corresponds to be designed.
- the guide member is preferred as a recess in the lower region of the Designed basket, in which an extension of the molded onto the hard part engages.
- the approach of the handle part can have guide members that with the Sealing bead of the sleeve interact and further improve behavior of the valve insert.
- a bendable tab is advantageously arranged, which can be bent open for more convenient operation of the valve.
- the tab engages preferably in an opening in the edge of the outer flange of the sleeve.
- This opening particularly preferably has a bevel towards the can lid out so that the tab can be gripped better.
