Definitions
- the invention relates to an anatomically shaped seat shell.
- An example of this is the tractor seat, a deep-drawn one made of sheet steel and perforated seat shell.
- An almost perfect leveling of the seat pressure over the entire seat, which is needed in difficult cases in the wheelchair area will offer individually adapted seat shells, e.g. B. according to the shape system from Otto Bock or using the silhouette method from Invacare.
- PS DE 4405595 and PS DE 19617912 another such method is described been.
- Such individually adapted seat shells are however unsuitable.
- the object of the invention is an anatomically shaped seat shell to create for general use. She assumes that a hanging belt which is common with folding chairs and wheelchairs, adapts somewhat to the shape of the buttocks can adjust; This adaptation is due to its one-dimensional curvature but insufficient and it creates an unphysiological pressure on the trochanter of the seated. Above all, however, are the lowest parts of the hanging belt at the median level (which divides the human body into left and right Half divides). In contrast, the deepest parts of an anatomically shaped Seat shell under the two buttocks and under the two thighs. This is where the invention comes in that the seat surface is transverse to the median plane lying seat bands is divided, the slightly different length of one three-dimensional seat enables.
- a median support is also provided, the upper edge of which raises the seat bands in the median plane so that the deepest Readjust the seat shell defined by the seat bands from the median level outside under the buttocks and under the thighs. Especially It is noteworthy here that these lowest points are located automatically adjust the weight of the seated person in the right place, both wide like narrow buttocks. This fact allows the top of the Median support and the length of the seat belts e.g. after the 95th percentile of the female To lay out the buttocks.
- Fig. 1 the basic structure of the seat shell is shown. It consists of the left side profile (1), the right side profile (2), the median support (3) and the Seat bands (6), of which only the front four are shown in Fig.1. Further Seat bands (6) connect to cover the entire seat.
- this seat shell should also be foldable to e.g. in the wheelchair area front straps (4) and rear straps (5) are provided, which support the median support (3) on the lower longitudinal edge.
- the assembly This foldable seat shell is made by screwing on the side profiles (1, 2) on the seat tubes of the folding wheelchair.
- the assembly of the Seat shell for car or airplane seats.
- the straps (4, 5) and the seat belts (6) are by screws, rivets, clamps, gluing, or welding on the side profiles (1, 2) and on the median support (3) attached.
- the seat belts (6), the side profiles (1, 2) and the Median support (3), possibly also the connecting elements between the side profiles (1,2) and the median support (3) made in one piece by injection molding become.
- all the fastenings just mentioned can be omitted.
- the Side profiles (1, 2) can also be expanded to a frame on which the Median support (3) hangs.
- Foam pillow be flatter than usual and thus the stability of the seat Improve user.
- the distance between the seat belts (6) from each other, the open-pore Structure of the foam cushion and its small thickness ensure a high air and water vapor permeability and thus for an excellent microclimate of the seat. This permeability is with all molded car seats a weak point because the surface created during the manufacturing process Air and water vapor transport is a hindrance.
- the further embodiment of the invention deals with the special case of the seat shell for wheelchairs and the necessary adaptation to the different Wheelchair width dimensions.
- Fig.2 shows the two halves (10, 11) with identical Outline divided median support, between which the support bands (4, 5) and the Seat straps (6) adjusted in length and clamped using the screws (13) become.
- 3 shows a detail from the top view of the seat shell.
- the seat bands (6) are printed with tick marks and numbers (38, 40), that affect the seat width of the wheelchair and the width adjustment of the seat shell facilitate.
- the carrying tapes (4, 5) are printed in the same way.
- the printing the seat bands (6) are not completely identical to each other: since the seat bands (6) for optimal adaptation to the shape of the buttocks a little different sag have is e.g. the distance of the divisions of the under the ischial bumps lying seat belt (6) slightly larger.
- the seat belt (6) located at this point can be loosened after loosening the neighboring one Screws (13) are lengthened slightly, resulting in an immediate reduction the pressure peak leads.
- the seat shell according to the invention can not only in their width can be changed but also in their length. To do this, the two Halves (10, 11) of the median support and the two side profiles (1, 2) on the front ends by 2 or 4 seat bands by sawing or with tin snips shortened. When using this option, the front straps (4) are at four Band divisions offset to the rear.
- FIG. 5 shows a tubular variant as a side profile (20).
- Several on the perimeter Through holes (not shown) then allow screw fastening e.g. on the seat tubes of the wheelchair and a width adjustment of the seat shell, depending on which through holes are used.
- FIG. 6 finally shows a side profile variant (30) which is mounted on rollers (31) is, the axes (32) on the bearing blocks (33), which on the seat tubes (34) Wheelchair are screwed.
- the inclination of the arrangement results as the result the tensile stresses in the support straps (4, 5) and in the seat straps (6).
- the seat according to the invention can be along the seat tubes (34) of the wheelchair are shifted and thus that known to the expert ⁇ Enable dynamic sitting in a wheelchair ⁇ (e.g. OS DE 19814067).
- the one for that required manual or servomotor actuators are known and need not be discussed here.
- Semi-finished products for the carrying tapes (5, 6) and the seat tapes (6) are commercially available Packaging tapes made from stretched and embossed polypropylene, which have a high tear strength. But they are so flexible that the inventive seat shell (6) formed from the seat shell of the respective seat anatomy adapts and can be folded effortlessly in the special case of the wheelchair can.
