Definitions

  • the invention relates to a chin rest for a musical instrument with a chin rest and a holding device for holding the chin rest on the musical instrument, which comprises at least one tensioning element, which is adjustable for bracing the chin rest with the musical instrument.
  • Such chin rests are used in particular for stringed instruments such as violin or viola in order to make it easier and safer to hold the musical instrument.
  • a chinrest for violin-like instruments which has a carrier which is formed from pipe sections and which connects to a chin rest.
  • a chinrest is known, in which the chin rest is secured by means of clamping clamps on the instrument.
  • the present invention seeks to improve a generic chinrest so that it is easy and safe to use.
  • a chinrest of the type described above according to the invention in that the chin rest an insertion guide for the at least one Has clamping element and that the insertion guide is arranged and formed so that the insertion direction is oblique to the clamping direction.
  • chin rest By chin rest according to the invention it is achieved that the one or more clamping elements do not have to be permanently connected to the chin rest, but can be removed if necessary on the insertion guide or can be inserted to tighten the chinrest with the musical instrument.
  • the chinrest according to the invention can be stored or transported to save space and the chinrest can be quickly and easily disassemble or assemble.
  • the holding device with the tensioning elements is permanently firmly connected to the chin rest. As a result, such chin rest are bulky and difficult to transport.
  • the metallic tubular part of the clamping element must be arranged with strained chinrest at a certain distance from the musical instrument to prevent damage to the musical instrument by the metallic part during clamping and order to achieve the firm connection of the clamping element via an arcuate element with the chin rest.
  • the metallic parts press harder against the skin.
  • the clamping elements can be formed so that no allergiauslösenden metal parts come into contact with the skin of the player and in particular can be used well compatible materials.
  • the chinrest according to the invention thus fulfills the provisions of the EU Directive 94/27 / EC for the marketing of nickel-containing products, which come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin and therefore lead to allergic reactions, because according to the invention precisely this contact is avoidable.
  • the at least one tensioning element is held detachably on the chin rest by the insertion guide.
  • the chinrest can be Store space and transport well.
  • the insertion direction can be at an angle to the clamping direction in the range between 20 ° and 70 °. It is particularly advantageous if this angle is in the range between 35 ° and 55 °. As a result, it is ensured that the clamping element is well inserted into the insertion guide and a corresponding holding head is not overloaded with strained chinrest. It is particularly advantageous if the angle is substantially at 45 °, since then, when the clamping direction is substantially perpendicular to a body of the musical instrument, an optimum between good insertion of the clamping element and minimal stress in the bracing is reached.
  • the insertion guide is formed by a recess in the chin rest.
  • chin rests are made of wood.
  • the insertion guide can then be produced by simple milling on the chin rest.
  • an insertion guide for a clamping element has a guide channel for the clamping element.
  • the insertion guide conveniently includes a support channel connected to the support channel.
  • a holding surface of the clamping element can be increased at the insertion guide and in particular the forces caused by the tension forces can be better absorbed.

  • the insertion guide for a tensioning element has two separate guide channels. As a result, the clamping element can be safely hold in the insertion guide and also introduce correspondingly easy.
  • a clamping element in two parts with a connecting element for connection to the chin rest and a holding foot for engagement with the musical instrument.
  • a clamping force can be exercised in a structurally simple manner via a relative movement of these two parts relative to one another.
  • the tensioning element advantageously has an adjusting device. By this can then targeted a clamping force on the clamping element exercise the musical instrument so as to jam the chin rest over the holding foot of the one or more of the tensioning elements with the musical instrument.
  • the adjusting device comprises a screw connection. It is then still manufacturing technology particularly simple if the clamping element comprises a counter-receptacle for the screw. As a result, a relative movement between the connecting element and retaining foot can be achieved in a simple manner and thus also bring about a good tension between the musical instrument and chin rest.
  • a screw nut is arranged in a rotationally fixed manner in the counter receptacle. This can be dispensed with threaded holes in the clamping element, so that the choice of material is not limited thereby.
  • the actuator can then be fitted with a few parts, i. essentially with two parts, namely the screw and the associated nut form.
  • the counter-receptacle is arranged in the connecting element.
  • the chinrest can be clamped to the musical instrument via an actuation of the screw from the underside of the musical instrument.
  • the screw when the screw is arranged within the clamping element is particularly advantageous.
  • the metallic screw is surrounded or embedded by the skin-friendly selected material of the tensioning element and the player of the musical instrument with the chinrest held thereon does not come into contact with the metal of the screw.
  • the connecting element has a displacement guide for the retaining foot.
  • the connecting element has a holding head which is adapted to the insertion guide.
  • a secure hold of the chinrest according to the invention can be achieved on the musical instrument.
  • the guide web is advantageously arranged on the holding head lying laterally outwards.
  • the holding head has a contact surface for application to a corresponding contact surface of a support channel of the insertion guide. In this way, the clamping force can be well received by the insertion guide on the holding head and the grip is safe and stable.
  • the holding head In order to enable in particular a production of the holding head via an injection molding process, it has a substantially U-shaped profile at the end, which is intended to be inserted into the insertion guide. It can also tooth-shaped profiles or similar profiles may be provided. This can be achieved on the one hand a good grip, since the holding head is not solid and can also contribute to corresponding inner surfaces for support and on the other hand, this training is well suited for injection molding.
  • each guide webs are formed laterally at the end, which is provided for insertion into the insertion guide. These reinforce the hold by increasing the holding surface.
  • those parts of a tensioning element which may come into contact with the skin of the player when the musical instrument is held by the chinrest, are made of a skin-friendly material and in particular of a skin-friendly plastic material.
  • the connecting element is made as a whole of a plastic material and also the holding foot is made of a plastic material.
  • a holding head of the clamping element is advantageously designed so that the walls forming it have substantially the same wall thickness.
  • the holding head has a central recess, is achieved by the one hand, that the wall thicknesses are uniform and on the other hand, the holding surface is increased.
  • the holding device comprises two clamping elements.
