Definitions
- the invention relates to a mounting device for mounting and disassembly of a fuel injector, in particular a high-pressure direct injection valve, in or out of Location bore of a cylinder head Internal combustion engine. Through the high pressure direct injection valve will fuel directly into the combustion chamber injected into the internal combustion engine.
- the invention relates to a mounting device according to the Genus of the main claim. It is already from DE 197 05 990 A1 a mounting device with a that Fuel injector at least partially surrounding Main body known, being at a first end of the Main body an inward collar section and at a second end of the Main body an outward collar section are trained. While the radially inward Collar section in a groove of the fuel injector can be used, the outward protrudes Collar section from the receiving opening of the Fuel injector out. On that from the Protruding bore of the cylinder head Collar section can be a suitable tool, for example attack a tire iron to the mounting device together with the fuel injector from the Lever out the mounting hole.
- This known assembly device is not suitable hold down force on the fuel injector transferred to the in the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine withstands the prevailing combustion pressure.
- the restraint of the fuel injector is therefore carried out via a separate hold-down device or the fuel injector is only by a frictional connection in the Location hole locked.
- the one facing inwards Collar section can be on the fuel injector however, a pressing force to press in the fuel injector transferred into the mounting hole.
- To the inwardly projecting collar section engages in one corresponding groove of the fuel injector.
- This pressing force is not centric and symmetrical to the central axis of the fuel injector, but one-sided.
- the Manageability of the mounting device when inserting the Fuel injector could be improved.
- From US-PS 4,561,159 is a disassembly device for a diesel injector known.
- One of the spray opening opposite end area of the fuel injector is laterally in a slot of the disassembly device insertable.
- the disassembly device is not in the Receiving hole of the cylinder head inserted and remains not in the mounting hole when assembled.
- From the US-PS 4,561,159 resulting disassembly rather a tool extension, before disassembly of the fuel injector to the fuel injector is attached.
- the transfer of a Hold-down force on the fuel injector via the Disassembly device is not provided.
- the connection the disassembly device with the fuel injector is relatively cumbersome.
- the mounting device according to the invention with the has characteristic features of the main claim in contrast the advantage that by the two Attack elements a centric and symmetrical Hold-down force on the fuel injector is transmitted so that an inclination or tilting of the fuel injector is avoided.
- a centric and symmetrical Hold-down force on the fuel injector is transmitted so that an inclination or tilting of the fuel injector is avoided.
- the locking lugs formed on the fuel injector preferably each have one of the hold-down surfaces of the Mounting device facing away from bevel.
- the Bevel makes it easier to snap the latches into the provided on the attack elements locking recesses.
- the mounting device is preferably in the Location bore with only a slight clearance to an exact axial alignment of the mounting device in With respect to the location hole also ensure if the one installed in a vehicle, for example Internal combustion engine is subjected to a shaking motion.
- attack elements Cut-out for the connector of the fuel injector provided so that the connector one at the Mounting device mounted fuel injector is arranged between the attack elements.
- the assembly device is inexpensive by deep drawing can be made from a metal sheet.
- the spray end is one Embodiment of the invention Assembly device 1 shown.
- Mounting device 1 is a fuel injection valve 2 used.
- the mounting device 1 and the fuel injector 2 are in a receiving bore 3 one Cylinder head 4 of an internal combustion engine used.
- at the fuel injector 2 is a High pressure direct injection valve for direct injection of fuel in the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine.
- the receiving bore 3 of the cylinder head 4 is divided into an enlarged section 5, a narrowed section 6 and a the enlarged section 5 with the narrowed Section 6 connecting conical section 7.
- a spray section 8 of the fuel injection valve 2 is located in the narrowed section 6 of the receiving bore 5 in the narrowed section 6 of the receiving bore 5 in the narrowed section 6 of the receiving bore 5 in the narrowed section 6 of the receiving bore 5 in the narrowed section 6 of the receiving bore 5 in the narrowed section 6 of the receiving bore 5 a spray section 8 of the fuel injection valve 2.
- the fuel injector 2 must be in the receiving bore 3rd of the cylinder head 4 against the prevailing in the combustion chamber Combustion pressure to be held down.
- the function of the Holding down the fuel injector 2 in the Location hole 3 of the cylinder head 4 is one of the two Functions of the mounting device according to the invention 1.
- Die Mounting device 1 has on her shown in Fig. 1 spray-side end two attack elements 9 and 10, which are arranged diametrically opposite.
- the Mounting device 1 can also have more than two Attack elements, for example three or four Attack elements, which preferably circumferentially are evenly distributed.
- the two Attack elements 9 and 10 each have an end face Hold-down surface 11 and 12, each on one annular counter surface of a housing body 14 of the Fuel injector 2 attacks the fuel injector 2 against that prevailing in the combustion chamber Hold down combustion pressure.
- the fuel injector 2 is thereby by means of the mounting device 1 applied hold-down force on a conical section 15 against the conical section 6 of the receiving bore 3 pressed. Due to the sectionally conical design of the Receiving hole 3 and the fuel injector 2 is an exact axial alignment of the fuel injector 2 with respect to the central axis 16 of FIG Location hole 3 ensured.
- the two attack elements 9 and 10 are with a in Fig. 1 not shown main body connected to the fuel injector 2 preferably ring-shaped or encloses sleeve-shaped.
- An also not shown Fastening section of the main body protrudes from the Location hole 3 of the cylinder head 4 out and is on the Cylinder head 4 attachable.
- the area of Fastening section can match the concrete geometric Design of the cylinder head 4 can be adapted.
- the Hold-down force can, for example, by at the Mounting section provided mounting screws on the Assembly device 1 are exercised.
- the fastening device 1 preferably has only one little play compared to the mounting hole 3 of the Cylinder head 4, so that the mounting device 1 in the Location bore 3 is guided exactly axially and the fuel injector 2 therefore also under difficult Conditions, for example when a Shaking movement is aligned exactly axially.
- the two attack elements 9 and 10 also have two in Embodiment closed recesses closed on all sides 17 and 18 respectively.
- the recesses 17 and 18 have Embodiment a rectangular cross section.
- the locking recesses 17 and 18 are each one on the Fuel injection valve 2 radially molded catch 19 or 20 insertable by the fuel injection valve 2 in the mounting device 1 inserted in the axial direction becomes.
