Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method of locking a motor vehicle and a device for its implementation.
- the user when the user wishes to condemn the vehicle, he can, for example, when leaving the vehicle, press a exterior door handle or exterior lock button located on the door or on an upright of the body, to trigger the vehicle to be locked.
- the user can also press a lock button on a box remote control incorporating an identifier, to trigger the locking the vehicle.
- One can also provide in the cockpit a specific condemnation button to trigger the locking the vehicle, when the user has left the vehicle, within a specified time.
- the object of the present invention is to eliminate the drawbacks mentioned above and to propose a method for locking the vehicle which allows to avoid leaving an identifier in the passenger compartment, or to warn the user that such an identifier is left in the passenger compartment.
- the method consists to generate a signal for a request for conviction by an action of user support on an external locking member on the vehicle, for example an exterior door handle or a button exterior lock on the door or close to it, said condemnation request signal by an external body of conviction being able to initialize in the central unit a sequence control command specific to a conviction by organ exterior, said sequence consisting, before generating said signal locking command, to detect the state of the vehicle doors and to interrupt said sequence if at least one door is detected opened.
- the organ condemnation sequence outside may consist, before generating said command signal of conviction, to detect the possible presence of an identifier to outside near the vehicle through the device identification, and to interrupt said sequence if no identifier authorized is detected present outside.
- the method of the invention consists in confirming the conviction by pressing said external organ of condemnation on the vehicle.
- the method consists in generate a conviction request signal by support action from the user on a button of a remote control unit incorporating a identifier carried by the user, said request signal for conviction by remote control being able to be issued by the identifier and received by the vehicle identification device, to initialize in the central unit a blocking command sequence suitable for a remote control conviction, said sequence consisting, before generating said control command signal sentence, to interrupt said sequence if said identifier transmitter is inhibited on access.
- the sequence of condemnation by remote control can consist, when an identifier authorized is detected in the passenger compartment, to inhibit access all detected identifiers present in the passenger compartment if the transmitter identifier is also detected present in the passenger compartment, while said sequence locking by remote control consists of unlocking the vehicle and put the central unit on standby for confirmation of conviction if the transmitter identifier is not detected present in the passenger compartment.
- the method consists in initializing the sequence of locking by remote control, only when the central unit is not awaiting confirmation of conviction.
- the method consists in generate a conviction request signal by support action from the user on an interior locking button in the passenger compartment, said interior button locking request signal being suitable to initialize in the central unit a sequence of command of conviction specific to an interior button conviction, said consistent interior button locking sequence, before to generate said condemnation control signal, to detect the condition of the doors, to trigger a timer and to interrupt said interior button locking sequence when no door is not detected opened before the end of the time delay.
- the conviction sequence may consist, when a door front is detected open, to detect the condition of the doors again and to interrupt said sequence when all the doors are not closed before the end of the timer.
- said interior button locking sequence consists, before generate the lockout control signal, when all doors are closed before the end of the time delay, to detect the possible presence of an identifier outside near the vehicle, and to interrupt said sequence if no identifier authorized is only detected outside.
- the sentence sequence by internal button can consist, when an authorized identifier is detected outside, to generate by the central unit said signal lock command, to trigger a time delay, to detect the condition of the doors at the end of the timer, and to warn the user if all the doors are not detected locked at the end of the delay.
- the method of the invention consists in initializing the interior button locking sequence, only when the central unit is not awaiting confirmation of the conviction.
- the method consists of warning by audible signal and / or illuminated the user, when the central unit is put on standby confirmation of conviction.
- an operating algorithm is shown the method of locking a motor vehicle, in accordance to the invention, when the user presses on a handle door exterior.
- the same algorithm can apply, when an external locking button is provided on the door or near it on the vehicle door frame.
- a such: support may consist in moving the handle or simply in establishing contact with the outside button.
- the boxes each define a given state of the device locking the vehicle, while each double box positioned between two successive simple boxes, defines, in the upper part of the double box, one or more conditions to be satisfied for allow the passage from a given state to the next state, and in the part bottom of the double box, the action or actions that the device, when the above condition has been satisfied.
- the central unit Upon receipt of said frame, the central unit initializes a handle lockout procedure or sequence exterior, as shown in step 3.
- This sequence consists, first, to detect the condition of the vehicle doors, for example at using door contact stop switches, as shown in double box 4, without specific conditions.
- step 5 the central unit is waiting for the detection of the condition of the doors. If a door is detected opened, as shown in double box 6, the sequence is interrupted, as indicated by the word end in step 7. Indeed, if a door is opened, it means that the user does not wish to condemn the vehicle by pressing the exterior door handle.
- the central unit receives information that all doors are closed, it will then trigger the search for identifiers outside, nearby of the vehicle, as indicated in double box 8.
- This search for external identifiers is carried out, in a conventional manner, by through the identification device on board the vehicle and which is connected to several external antennas distributed around the perimeter the vehicle, for example at the door handles and boot tailgate. The central unit is then awaiting the end of the detection of identifiers outside, as indicated in step 9.
- the command sequence of conviction is interrupted, as indicated in step 7.
- Detection an identifier outside consists in particular of authenticating the identifier, to ensure that the identifier corresponds to the vehicle that one seeks to condemn, and to verify that this identifier is authorized to allow access to the vehicle or has not been previously inhibited on access. Indeed, to obtain the conviction of the vehicle, it is necessary that a user carrying an identifier allowed either near the vehicle.
- the central unit When the central unit receives information that a authorized identifier was detected outside, as indicated in the double box 11, it triggers the emission of a control command signal condemnation towards the means of condemnation of the locks of the vehicle windows, for example a plurality of actuators electric. Simultaneously, the central unit triggers a condemnation delay, to allow time by means of condemnation to mechanically effect the condemnation.
- the central unit then remains awaiting conviction, for the duration of the timer, as shown in step 12. At the end of the time delay, the central unit requests the status of the doors, as indicated in the double box 13. The central unit then remains in waiting for the door condition detection, as indicated in step 14.
- the central unit When the central unit receives information that the doors have been condemned, she checks if she is waiting for a confirmation of conviction, as explained below. If it is not not waiting for a confirmation of conviction, it triggers a search for identifiers inside the passenger compartment of the vehicle, as indicated in double box 15. This detection is carried out by through the identification device which is connected to at least one interior antenna in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. Like before, the detection of an identifier inside requires its authentication. The central unit is then in a state of waiting for the end of the detection identifiers inside, as shown in step 16.
- the vehicle If at the end of this detection, for example after a predetermined timeout, no authorized identifier is detected at inside, as indicated in double box 17, the vehicle then remains in its state of locked doors, as visible in state 18. In however, if at least one identifier is detected inside, such as indicated in double box 19, the central unit will generate a signal unlocking command to locking means / unlocking the door locks. The central unit goes also ask for confirmation of conviction and wait this confirmation for a period determined by a time delay.
- step 20 the vehicle is then in a unlocked state and pending confirmation of conviction by pressing the exterior door handle.
- a state is reported to the user, by example by an audible warning, or by a visual signal on the vehicle.
- the user is informed that he has left an identifier at inside the vehicle. Either he decides to search for this identifier and he can open a door of the vehicle, because it has been previously unlocked. Under these conditions, waiting for a confirmation of conviction is canceled at the central unit level, either during door opening detection, either when, at the end of the timeout, no confirmation of conviction was received.
- Waiting for confirmation of conviction is also canceled at central unit level if a conviction request is triggered by action on a specific organ (floppye zipper by example) located inside the vehicle.
- the conviction procedure remains unchanged, up to the stage 14, in which the central unit remains pending the state of the doors.
- the central unit will have memorized the identification code of each identifier detected in the passenger compartment of the vehicle. Inhibition of identifiers inside the vehicle takes place vis-à-vis access to the vehicle, as well as vis-à-vis startup, if this function is available on the identifier concerned. In this case, the vehicle remains in its locked door condition, as shown in step 18. So even if a person not authorized breaks into the vehicle and manages to seize the identifier left in the passenger compartment, this identifier will be useless, because it will have been previously inhibited.
- FIG. 2 represents a condemnation procedure by pressing a condemnation button a remote control unit incorporating an identifier.
- step 30 the user wearing a remote control unit incorporating an identifier, press a condemnation button on the remote control unit.
- the identifier including a transmitter this last issues a conviction request frame by remote control, for example in radio frequency, this frame being intended to be received by the vehicle identification device, as shown in double box 31.
- the central unit initializes a condemnation command sequence by remote control, as shown in step 32.
- the device identification after having authenticated the issuer identifier, notes that the transmitter identifier is inhibited on access, as indicated in the double box 33, the condemnation sequence is interrupted, as indicated by the word end in step 34.
- the identification device does not inform the unit central unit that the transmitter identifier is inhibited on access, it will trigger a search for identifiers inside the passenger compartment and also generate a lock command signal for lock the opening of the vehicle, as indicated in the double box 35.
- the central unit is then, in step 36, awaiting the end locking the doors and ending the detection of identifiers inside the vehicle.
- the sequence conviction ends, as shown in step 34, but in this In this case, the doors remain in the condemned state.
- the central unit controls the inhibition on access of all the identifiers detected in the passenger compartment, as indicated in double box 38.
- the conviction procedure is also interrupted, as indicated in step 34, but the doors remain locked. It is important to inhibit access to the identifiers located inside the vehicle, when the doors are locked to the outside, from a conviction order from a user located in the interior, to prevent a malicious person from being able to automatically unlock the vehicle and attack its occupants, simply by pressing, for example, on the outer handle of door.
- the unit central causes the unlocking of the opening and requests a confirmation of conviction, as indicated in double box 39.
- the device then returns to the aforementioned step 20, as indicated in reference to Figure 1.
- confirmation confirmation of conviction can only be made by support on the exterior door handle, as indicated by the box 40 in FIG. 2 and by box 41 in broken lines in FIG. 1.
- the user will be forced to approach the vehicle, to confirm the conviction, to avoid repeated accidental pressing on the remote control button causes a confirmation of inadvertent conviction.
- This inner button is usually provided at the front of the passenger compartment of the vehicle. This button allows you to automatically lock the vehicle from the inside when the user got out of the vehicle, without having to press a button remote control or the exterior door handle.
- step 50 the user presses the interior button of locking the vehicle. This press closes a switch which triggers the transmission of a conviction request frame by indoor button to the central unit, as indicated in the double box 51.
- the central unit On reception of this frame, the central unit initializes a interior button locking command sequence, such as indicated in step 52.
- the lockout command sequence by interior button consists, first, of asking the state of the doors of the vehicle and start a timer, as shown in the double box 53.
- the central unit is then in a state of waiting for the state of the doors, as shown in step 54.
- the central unit continues to request the condition of the doors, as long as a front door has not been detected in the open position, as indicated in double box 55. If no front door is open, before the end of the time delay, as indicated in double box 56, the central unit interrupts the conviction procedure, as indicated by the word end in step 57.
- the central unit ask again the state of the doors, in accordance with the double box 58.
- the central unit is then in a state of waiting for the state of the doors, as shown in step 59.
- the central unit continues to request the status of the doors, as indicated in double box 60. If, at the end of the timer, all doors are not closed, as shown in the double box 61, the central unit interrupts the conviction procedure, according to step 57.
- the central unit if the central unit is informed that all the doors are closed before the end of the timer, the central unit triggers a search for identifiers outside the vehicle, in accordance with double box 62. The central unit is then in waiting for the end of the detection of identifiers outside, at the stage 63.
- the conviction procedure is interrupted, according to step 57. Indeed, this means that the user, who pressed the interior lock button, opened a door front and closed it, without leaving the vehicle with a authorized identifier.
- the unit control unit When an authorized identifier is detected outside, by through the vehicle identification device, the unit control unit generates a condemnation command signal and initiates a time delay for conviction, in accordance with double box 65. The central unit then remains awaiting the effective condemnation of the vehicle doors, in step 66. At the end of the timer locking, the central unit requests the status of the vehicle doors, in accordance with double box 67. The central unit is then in waiting for the state of the doors, in step 68. If at least one door is detected in an unlocked state, the central unit triggers a audible or visual warning, in accordance with double box 69, this which interrupts the conviction procedure, according to step 57.
- the central unit then triggers the search for identifiers inside the vehicle, in accordance with double box 70.
- the central unit then remains in waiting for the end of the detection of identifiers inside the passenger compartment, in step 71. If no identifier is detected inside, in accordance with double box 72, the vehicle remains in its state of door locked, at step 73.
- the central unit Conversely, if at least one authorized identifier is detected in the passenger compartment, the central unit causes the doors to unlock and requests confirmation of conviction, in accordance with double box 74. The central unit then finds itself in a waiting state a confirmation of conviction by external handle, in accordance with step 20 above. In Figure 1, we have indicated by box 75, the fact that the confirmation of locking can only be done by pressing the handle exterior.
- the timer that is triggered at step 53 has a duration of the order of one minute.
