Definitions
- the present invention relates to an entry profile made of metal, especially for the leading edge of a Stairs, a pedestal or a catwalk or for a fixed ladder rung, the entry profile a bending profile with at least one in the installed state vertical, downward thighs and at least is a horizontal, upper leg and where that Approach profile with a non-slip contour is.
- the invention further relates to a method for Creation of an entry profile.
- An entry profile of the type mentioned is from the DE-GM 19 94 497 known.
- the entry profile is U-shaped here designed with rounded edges, the opening of the U-profile is directed towards a grating frame, which forms a step. Purpose of those provided here Avoid shaping with the rounded edges from heel injuries from the stairs People. It should also have good stability can be achieved.
- this entry profile pressed upwards in the horizontal, upper leg rib-like or point-like elevations are provided to create an anti-skid device.
- a ladder rung is known from DE-GM 75 27 838, the from a substantially semicircular sheet metal blank exists, the tread area distributed grid-like, through the sheet through recesses opposite edges protruding upwards from the sheet metal surface having.
- the step can only be effective with one a relatively large radius; with a sharp one Turn as typical for a leading edge is provided by the recesses with their protruding edges insufficient effect and protection against one Slipping more.
- the recesses are made as a result of bending the initially protruding edges of the recesses are flattened, so that the anti-slip effect is lost.
- a ladder rung is known from US Pat. No. 3,781,341 known, which consist of two parallel to each other massive metal bodies that exist over several Cross struts are interconnected. On the top edge a corrugated structure is provided on the rung, which offers the desired anti-slip effect.
- the disadvantage of this known ladder rung that it requires a very complex production and thus becomes uneconomically expensive.
- the basic body the ladder rung consists of a casting or an extruded part that is still extensive afterwards must be processed, namely on the one hand in the area of Cross struts must be provided with openings and on the other hand, in the area of the upper edge of the two parallel ones Metal body by material removal with the desired Contour must be equipped.
- an entry profile of the type mentioned to create which avoids the disadvantages set out and this in particular high slip resistance when walking on offers that even in the presence of moisture or greasy contaminants maintains a high slip resistance and that can also be manufactured economically. Furthermore, there is the task of a manufacturing process specify an entry profile with which this is particularly economical to produce.
- the entry profile according to the invention advantageously offers a particularly high slip resistance right now on the edge of the tread pattern, that with the bending axis coincides. This will prevent a foot from slipping off Access profile safely prevented even when the foot is aligned obliquely to the horizontal direction and only touches the edge of the tread pattern, which is very common occurs when walking down the leading edge.
- the entry profile is relatively simple and inexpensive to manufacture because it is a bending profile and because the teeth are molded in one piece.
- the entry profile can be a separately manufactured one Be part that then with the rest of the stairs or ladder rung or the rest of the pedestal, is preferably welded.
- the entry profile can also be in one piece with the rest of the step or ladder rung or the rest of the pedestal, which is at the production of such steps, ladder rungs or offers platforms whose tread is covered by a Sheet metal, e.g. a perforated or checker plate or teardrop plate, is formed.
- the starting profile is special can be used wherever metallic steps, Platforms, catwalks, step plates or ladders are used e.g. in or on factory buildings, on technical Systems, on machines, on trucks or on Rail vehicles.
- this is a trapezoidal or semicircular or triangular or rectangular contour to have.
- the widest side of the Contour the base of the prongs lying in the bending axis.
- the jags from the horizontal leg and / or from through the vertical leg of the tread pattern or in connection with bending or punching or cutting are generated and that behind a recess at each point or behind and next to each point is present in the horizontal leg.
- the recesses in the immediate vicinity the jagging advantage that shoe soles may have falling dirt particles are not on the tread pattern can collect, but through the recesses fall down. Rainwater can also get through this Drain the recesses so that there is no standing Can form water on the tread pattern. So that will Corrosion damage and ice slippage prevented. Every recess is at least as large as the negative contour the associated spike; if necessary, by additional Material removal also creates the recess larger his.
- a further increase in the anti-slip effect of the Jag is achieved in that this on their top or Front edge each with a sharp edge are trained.
- the direction, i.e. along total length of the teeth measured on the bending axis at least is one third of the total length of the bending axis. This ensures that in any case one or more serrations with the sole of a shoe one the person committing the entry profile. It is also advantageously achieved that the bending process essential in the creation of the entry profile is facilitated because a bend in the material only over two thirds or less of the total length of the Entry profile is required. The pips themselves will be not subject to the bend, but remain in are or will only be in their original orientation slightly forward, i.e. opposite to the bending direction, issued.
- an additional slip resistance preferably by a Knobs or corrugations, provided as they are on their own is known per se.
- the prongs and the one mentioned above are preferred additional slip resistance to form a possible flat tread contour with the same height. On this way, a safe walk on the entry profile guaranteed and for a safe walking feeling the entrance profile and the stairway equipped with it or ladder rung or the like concerned.
- the peaks forming a regular division equidistant from each other are preferred.
- the tread pattern suitably consists of steel, preferably galvanized steel or stainless steel.
- the procedural part of the task is solved according to the invention by a production process an entry profile made of metal, especially for the leading edge of a step or a grating pedestal or for a step ladder, where that Starting profile by bending an initially flat sheet metal strip at least one vertical in the installed position, downward leg and at least one horizontal, receives upper leg and being the entry profile is provided with an anti-slip contour, which is characterized in that along or in the the common edge of the vertical leg and of the horizontal, upper leg extending bending axis the entry profile several upwards and / or downwards Zakken pointing in front are integrally formed by the jags from the horizontal leg and / or from the vertical leg in front of or in connection with the Bending expressed or punched out or cut out be, at the same time behind each point or behind and a recess in the horizontal next to each spike Leg is generated.
- the method according to the invention is advantageously quick and easy to carry out and therefore particularly economical. In addition, it can be easily automated, so that Inexpensive mass production is possible without any problems is.
- individual Sections of the entry profile e.g. on a press brake made and later to a suitable length tailored as needed.
- processing and Forming tools e.g. a roller mill, in one pass is passed through. Then only one more has to be done Cut to the required dimensions of the entry profile respectively.
- the entrance profile shown in FIG. 1a it forms part of a step, which runs in the form of a grating made of sheet metal strips is. Also the leading edge, which in Figure 1a the left edge of the step is made of a sheet metal strip manufactured by an additional bending process is reshaped.
- the bending axis 3 runs along the upper one front edge of the tread pattern, this one downward-pointing vertical leg 6 and an upper, has horizontal leg 7. From the bending axis 3 protrude in one piece with the rest of the tread pattern Prongs 1 upwards, for the desired slip resistance the entry profile for this person entering to care.
- connection between the entry profile with his Legs 6 and 7 and the rest of the stage is appropriate by welding; alternatively there is a screw connection or riveting possible.
- this also forms part of a Step, which is executed here in the form of a perforated plate is.
- the leading edge, which is also the in Figure 1b left edge of the step is integral with the remaining step made from a sheet metal blank, which is formed by a bending process.
- the bending axis 3 also runs here along the upper front Edge of the tread pattern, which also follows here vertical leg 6 pointing below and an upper, has horizontal leg 7, the horizontal Leg 7 forms the entire tread of the step. From the bending axis 3 protrude with the rest of the initial profile one-piece prongs 1 upwards and provide for the desired slip resistance of the tread pattern.
- the tread surface is formed horizontal leg 7 nub-like elevations 4th provided that also contribute to slip resistance.
- Figure 2 shows an entry profile, which as a rung of a Head serves.
- the starting profile is U-shaped here bent by two parallel bending axes 3, whereby at protrude 3 prongs 1 upwards on each bending axis.
- Area of the tread pattern between the two rows of peaks 1 are increases 4 in the same form as in the horizontal leg 7 in Figure 1 molded to the To further increase the slip resistance of the tread pattern.
- the entry profile according to FIG. 2 is at its ends with two ladder stiles connected in a suitable manner, preferably welded.
- Figure 3 shows a section of a grating, at which provide at least one edge with a tread pattern is.
- the entry profile here again has a vertical, downward leg 6 and an upper, horizontal leg 7.
- This horizontal leg 7 is here in comparison to the vertical leg 6 relatively short. This leaves the space between the individual strips of the grating as far as possible free, so that a deposit and accumulation of dirt or snow or other safety-impairing Fabrics is not possible.
- Figure 3 shows that the prongs 1 also here again from the bending axis 3 between the legs 6, 7 protrude upwards.
- FIGS. 1 to 3 show that the prongs 1 in one piece with the rest of the initial profile are executed. This is done in the simplest way achieved that the prongs 1 before bending or during the bending process from the horizontal after turning extending leg 7 cut out or punched out or be expressed and then the bend don't participate.
- connection of the entry profile according to Figure 3 with the other grating is also conveniently done by Welding.
- Figures 4a to 4d show the development of the entry profile from Figure 1.
- Figure 4a is still essentially flat sheet metal strip in front of, along a Bending axis 3 shown as a dash-dotted line is angled about 90 °, as gradually in the Figures 4b and 4c is shown.
- the upper in Figure 4a Part of the sheet metal strip later forms the upper, horizontal one Leg 7; the lower half of the metal strip according to FIG. 4a, the finished product becomes the lower one, vertical leg 6.
- the teeth 1 are immediately above the bending axis 3 preformed by punching or cutting or embossing; in the upper part of the sheet metal strip are also here the increases 4 already attached.
- openings 2 can be advantageous Dirt the prongs 1 of shoes one the tread pattern scrape off the person walking, fall down, so that an accumulation of dirt in the area of the Starting profile and especially the prongs 1 as far as possible is excluded.
- the increases 4 are provided with a central opening, as is known in itself.
- FIGS. 4a and 4d furthermore show that the teeth 1 can be executed with different contours, the prongs 1 preferably have the shape of a trapezoid or a semicircle or a triangle or one Have a rectangle.
- the distances between the individual prongs 1 are preferred same size, so that there is an even division 8 results, as shown in the drawing in FIG. 4d is.
- Figures 5a to 5d show the same representation as Figures 4a to 4d the career of the entry profile from Figure 2.
- Figures 5a to 5d show the same representation as Figures 4a to 4d the career of the entry profile from Figure 2.
- two bending processes along two parallel bending axes 3 performed.
- spikes 1 on each bending axis 3 provided that also designed in terms of their shape as explained in the previous example.
- the entry profile is obtained via the intermediate shape according to FIG. 5b its final shape according to Figure 5c.
- the starting profile has the prongs 1, which together with the surveys 4 form a flat tread contour 9.
- the height 5 of the prongs 1 agrees with the height of the surveys 4, how is illustrated in Figure 5c.
- FIG. 5d again shows the uniform one Division 8 between the individual prongs 1, being here only to clarify several versions Jag 1 have different contours. In practice it is useful to have an entry profile with each other same prongs 1 run to manufacture not to make it too complicated.
- Figures 6a to 6d again show the same representation like Figures 4a to 4d and 5a to 5d career profile according to Figure 3. Clear It can be seen here in FIG. 6a that the bending axis 3 does not run through the middle of the metal strip, but instead is shifted upwards. This leads to that in the finished Starting profile of the vertical leg 6 a clearly longer than the upper, horizontal Leg 7. Alignment and contour, as well as spacing the point 1 is here as well as in the previously described Embodiments.
- the points 1 can be in front of or together with the bending process by punching out or pressing out or pre-cut. A cut out can e.g. using laser cutting.
- Figures 7a, 8a and 9a each show a section from a prepared sheet metal strip, from which an entry profile is produced by bending, each in Top view. Each in the upper part of these three figures the area of the metal strip is visible, that later the horizontal in the respective figure 7b, 8b, 9b, upper Forms leg 7 of the initial profile.
- At the bottom Part of Figures 7a, 8a, 9a is the part of the sheet metal strip visible after the bending process in the figures 7b, 8b, 9b downward-pointing, vertical legs 6 forms.
- the bending edge 3 runs approximately in the middle through the metal strip in its longitudinal direction.
- the prongs are 1 arranged immediately above the bending edge 3, wherein the base of the prongs 1 lies in the bending edge.
- the bending process is the prongs 1, as shown in Figure 7b clearly shows, upwards over the horizontal leg 7 in front.
- Behind each point 1 is horizontal Leg 7 a recess 2, which is at least as large like the negative contour of the spike 1. If necessary, the Recess 2 can also be made larger by one Larger material removal takes place additionally.
- each point 1 lies in the bending edge 3, i.e. partly below and partly above from that.
- a shape results after the bending process of the entry profile according to FIG. 8b, here additionally still the points 1 slightly forward, i.e. from the horizontal Leg 7 away, are issued.
- the breakthrough 2 behind each point 1 is now partly vertical Leg 6 and partially in the horizontal leg 7.
- Figures 7b, 8b and 9b show clearly that the Jag 1 their particularly favorable anti-slip effect even then and even just when a foot oblique, e.g. at about 45 ° to the horizontal to which Edge of the tread pattern is placed. This foot position occurs just when going down a flight of stairs is committed quickly, with conventional The greatest risk of accidents exists at the leading edges. This danger is different with that here Embodiments shown in each entry profile Case avoided.
