    Claims (7)

    1. An apparatus for unloading rails (3) which are located on haulage cars (2), the apparatus comprising rail-guiding heads (11) for guiding and centering a rail (3) that is to be pulled off; wherein a first rail-guiding unit (7) with a pair of rail-guiding heads (11) is provided on a rail-road car (6), to be disposed downstream of the haulage car (2) in a working direction (12), at one end as related to a longitudinal car direction, the rail-guiding heads (11) having guide rolls (22) for rail centering; wherein the pair of rail-guiding heads (11) of the rail-guiding unit (7) is displaceable one in relation to the other normally to the longitudinal car direction on a horizontal plane as well as adjustable in height by a drive (14);
      characterized in that the first rail-guiding unit (7) is disposed on the end, neighboring the haulage car (2), of the rail-road car (6);
      in that a second rail-guiding unit (8) is disposed on the other end of the car (6), having a pair of rail-guiding heads (11) which are displaceable one in relation to the other on a horizontal plane in the transverse car direction; and
      in that both rail-guiding units (7, 8), which each comprise a pair of rail-guiding heads (11), are fixed to the car (6) by a respective releasable connection (9).
    2. An apparatus according to claim 1, characterized in that the two rail-guiding heads (11) of the second rail-guiding unit (8) are lockable on the horizontal plane and normally to the longitudinal car direction.

An apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that two guide rolls (2) of each rail-guiding head (11) are detachably connected to a supporting structure (29), the two guide rolls (2) being opposite each other normally to the longitudinal car direction and rotatable about a vertical axis (21).
    4. An apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the rail-guiding heads (11) of each rail-guiding unit (7, 8), which constitute a pair and are displaceable one in relation to the other in the transverse car direction, are disposed on a joint frame (10).
    5. An apparatus according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that above the two rail-guiding heads (11) of at least one rail-guiding unit (7) provision is made for a cable guide roll (17) which is mounted on a supporting frame (19) or on the frame (10), respectively, for rotation about an axis (18) which is horizontal and normal to the longitudinal car direction.
    6. An apparatus according to claim 5, characterized in that the cable guide roll (17) is adjustable in height in relation to the frame (10).
    7. An apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a locking device (20) for locking the rail-guiding head (11) is respectively provided on a supporting beam (13) or on a support (16).
