Claims (15)
- Verfahren zum Detektieren fehlerhafter und/oder fehlerhaft positionierter, insbesondere querliegender, Zigaretten (16) im Zigarettenmagazin (10) einer Zigarettenherstellungsbzw. -verpackungsmaschine, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß mittels wenigstens eines optischen Prüforgans (17) wenigstens ein Bild einer Vielzahl von sich im Zigarettenmagazin befindenden Zigaretten (13, 16) erfaßt, das Bild von einer Bildverarbeitungseinrichtung (18) ausgewertet und - falls beim Auswerten Abweichungen des erfaßten Bildes von einem Referenzbild und/oder von wenigstens einem Referenzwert festgestellt werden - ein Fehlersignal erzeugt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß je ein Bild auf der Vorderseite und der Rückseite des Zigarettenmagazins (10) erfaßt und ausgewertet wird, so daß beide Endseiten korrekt ausgebildeter und/oder korrekt positionierter Zigaretten (13) erfaßt werden können.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das von einem optischen Prüforgan (17) erfaßte Bild in mehrere, insbesondere nebeneinanderliegende, Auswertezonen (I-IV) unterteilt, die Auswertezonen (I-IV) separat ausgewertet werden und ggf. ein individuelles, einer Auswertezone (I-IV) zugeordnetes Fehlersignal erzeugt wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß von mehreren optischen Prüforganen (17) je ein Bild einer von mehreren, insbesondere nebeneinanderliegenden, Auswertezonen (I-IV) erfaßt und ausgewertet und ggf. ein individuelles, einer Auswertezone (I-IV) zugeordnetes Fehlersignal erzeugt wird.
- Verfahren zum Beseitigen fehlerhafter und/oder fehlerhaft positionierter, insbesondere querliegender, Zigaretten (16) im Zigarettenmagazin (10) einer Zigarettenherstellungs- bzw. - verpackungsmaschine, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß eine fehlerhafte und/oder fehlerhaft positionierte Zigarette (16), insbesondere nach einem Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, detektiert und in Reaktion auf eine derartige Detektion eine im Bereich des Magazins angeordnete Auswurfeinheit (19) zum Auswerfen einer Vielzahl sich in einer der Auswurfeinheit (19) zugeordneten Auswurfzone (A-D) befindenden Zigaretten betätigt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß gleichzeitig, insbesondere zwei, nebeneinander liegende Auswurfeinheiten (19) betätigt werden, falls eine fehlerhafte und/oder fehlerhaft positionierte Zigarette (16) in den den Auswurfeinheiten (19) zugeordneten Auswertezonen (I-IV) detektiert wird.
- Vorrichtung zum Detektieren fehlerhafter und/oder fehlerhaft positionierter, insbesondere querliegender, Zigaretten (16) im Zigarettenmagazin (10) einer Zigarettenherstellungsbzw. -verpackungsmaschine, gekennzeichnet durch ein im Bereich des Zigarettenmagazins (10) angeordnetes optisches Prüforgan (17), insbesondere eine Kamera, zum Erfassen wenigstens eines Bildes einer Vielzahl von sich im Zigarettenmagazin (10) befindenden Zigaretten (13, 16), eine Bildverarbeitungseinrichtung (18) zum Auswerten des Bildes und Mittel mit denen ein Fehlersignal erzeugbar ist, wenn Abweichungen des erfaßten Bildes von einem Referenzbild und/oder von wenigstens einem Referenzwert festgestellt werden.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Zigarettenmagazin (10) im Bereich eines optischen Prüforgans (17) eine durchsichtige Wand aufweist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7 oder 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß je ein oder mehrere nebeneinander angeordnete optische Prüforgane (17) an der Vorderseite und an der Rückseite des Zigarettenmagazins (10) angeordnet sind.
- Vorrichtung zum Beseitigen fehlerhafter und/oder fehlerhaft positionierter, insbesondere querliegender Zigaretten (16) im Zigarettenmagazin (10) einer Zigarettenherstellungs- bzw. - verpackungsmaschine, gekennzeichnet durch, wenigstens eine, insbesondere mehrere nebeneinander, im Bereich des Zigarettenmagazins (10) angeordnete Auswurfeinheiten (19) zum Auswerfen einer Vielzahl sich in einer einer Auswurfeinheit (19) zugeordneten Auswurfzone (A-D) befindenden Zigaretten (13, 16).
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie eine derartig mit jeder Auswurfeinheit (19) verbundene Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 7 bis 9 aufweist, daß jede Auswurfeinheit (19) in Reaktion auf ein Fehlersignal betätigbar ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 10 oder 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jede Auswurfeinheit (19) eine Vorderwand (24), deren Fläche die Auswurfzone (A-D) bestimmt, und eine Rückwand (25) aufweist, deren Kontur um wenigstens eine Zigarettenbreite gegenüber der Kontur der Vorderwand (24) vergrößert ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Vorderwand (24) und die Rückwand (25) der Auswurfeinheit (19) im wesentlichen im Abstand einer Zigarettenlänge parallel zueinander angeordnet sind und insbesondere mittels eines Verbindungselements, insbesondere eines Verbindungsstabs (26), miteinander verbunden sind.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 10 bis 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Auswurfzone eine Breite und/oder eine Höhe aufweist, die wenigstens einer Zigarettenlänge entspricht.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 10 bis 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sie eine Rutsche (20) aufweist zum Auffangen und Ableiten von ausgeworfenen Zigaretten (13, 16).
